how many people didn't see me..??? :boggled:

:cheers::cheers::cheers:

It seems to happen too often. Now that I think of it. Since the Japanese Road Car Challenge where I pushed you out cause I couldn't see you. I can't remember a race where you showed on my screen. :irked: WTF PD!?!

I didn't see you & I remember also a casual night where Mazda & me both had pink Miuras at Deep Forest & I couldn't see you then either.

I've just remembered reading something when the glitch first happened, the notifications from PD said it was a problem if 2 or more people in the room had installed additional gauges. I've never installed any myself & also can't guarantee that I've remembered this correctly but it could be worth asking everybody not to use additional gauges just in case it makes a difference.

Edit:
This doesn't really agree with what I suggested just then, but I do seem to remember some discussion after v1.13 was released that seemed to conclude that gauges were still causing problems.

arr.... yes.... deep forest... while my GT-R was badly rapped by two pinkish Miuras...

yes... that was at SS5... where eventually more than half of the entries got kicked...

It has been fairly clear for a while that the network has had problems that are not being caused at our end.
We reset our machines (& backup our save data) before looking for the room, we clear our cache, we hope for the best. We do what we can to help things run smoothly, hopefully the network will be fixed soon.

The gauges thing... I have no idea if it makes a difference but in the spirit of doing whatever we can to keep the room running smoothly, I would suggest that nobody installs extra gauges.
Of course this is just a suggestion, the boss & his acolytes will surely keep us informed..

@alcheng yeah, I heard you on the mic that night but only after a lap or 2. I still have no idea where you were but on my replay I have an empty space at the front of the grid (must have been you on pole) & mazda & me storm away to a large gap ahead of everybody else straight away.

Hey Tarkus and Tjger, do you guys mind adding Manny and I's touge battle to before the other SAC races on Thursday?

Manny agreed to the rules I set. I will be using a self-built MX-Crossport SUV and he"ll be running his viciously quick CRX. I think it's a fair handicap for me. Also, this type comes down to three factors: Car and tuning experience, driver skill, and track experience.

I have the latter two (and the car somewhat), and Manny has all three aspects.

buddy, again, no offense... if you want a competition that will test all those 3 above... we just did it last Thursday....

The Miata TC, we all drive the same car with same PP... so the competition was purely on how you tune your car, your driving skills, how you learn the track, PLUS, how you plan out the pit-strategy.

We just had a race like that and we all saw the result.... Manny finished 4th on that race.... where did you finish??

I really confused how could you have a fair competition when the drivers are driving two different cars.

Just pick one single model, plain OEM no tuning no nothing and let a 3rd person pick a track, you two practice for a week then do the damn race.

Manny already agreed. Need I give you guys the example too?
I will anyways. This was a battle I had with one of the top guys over at the forum where the rules are from. I'm driving the Suzuki, which gave me some trouble on SH tires.

whoa guys....everyone has a point here...what we did last week is a test of all 3 components..however it is a sanctioned limited race ..limited to one car...touge is more bring what you have that is at a particular limit, then the other aspects can be applied, tuning, drier skill and how fast you learn the track..plain OEM takes the fun out of a "touge battle"..just my $0.02 :D

This needs it's own thread.
Or a conversation set up with everybody who is interested.

It's an exciting event & there is so much that could be discussed, for example questions about car selection & touge in general that may not be considered by all readers & users of this thread to be matters relating to the club.

:cool:Don't worry Alex I did agree to his terms and conditions, but is just for fun we didn't agree on the other terms lol.... I'll give it a try why not 👍

:cheers:LOL OB! you taking this to serious buddy, just relax and if you want we can race today when we are free... I have no time to tune and practice so I will just jump in like that. I will lower the power of the CRX to meet your lobby requirements.

Maybe OB can post when we are about to race if any of you want to watch :lol::lol:

Ok Guys, here's what's in the works for the casual night tomorrow:
race 1 - 490PP any car. VFT.
race 2 - 500-550 any car and winner of previous race picks exact PP. VFT.
race 3 - 551-600 any car and same as above.
race 4 - one make race with similar race car to previous races and VFT. 5 laps depending on track.
race 5 - 5 lap race where the winner of the "one make" decides PP limit and track!!!!!! Good luck.
race 6 - 600PP race car. VFT
race 7 - 520PP street car. VFT
race 8 - one make race around trial mountain (provided it's not selected in 1st one make race). Deep Forest is reserve track.
race 9 - winner of one make.....blah blah blah, same as race 5.
race 10 - 575PP street car challenge. No prototypes, concepts, etc, street cars only. VFT
race 11- 625PP race car challenge. 1 lap around either the Ring or that new track that for the life of me I can't recall right now. See what age does?
Race 12 - Any race where Tarkus emerges victorious, so I get a 600PP race car and you all drive Karts in reverse.:)
