I'm getting more excited by the hour. Particularly because of this extra little stipulation

and you all drive Karts in reverse.

Just wondering, sometimes when you're stuck against a barrier you need to use reverse to back away a bit. Would we be allowed to use the forward gear in a situation like that? I wonder if Tarkus has put much thought into this race? I wonder if he's surprised by the amount of "sign-ups"?

Hmmm, I certainly didn't expect this one particular race to get so much attention but the truth is I do want to be fair and have put lots of thought into it. So having said that, if a car is in reverse and up against a barrier then sorry buddy, you're out of luck. Rules are rules, so if you can't get out of your little sticky situation without using a forward gear then not only do you most likely lose the race but you will be responsible for additional funds being transferred to the Tarkus fund. Come on guys! Tarkus needs a new pair of shoes!

Ok gentlemen, testing with the Merc CLK is going better than expected. So the Team and I are spending the weekend at the Formula race at Austin. Turn 12 Section 12 Row 36 seat 2....So the keys to the track(grand valley) are under the door mat. Use the track and if its possible. Run one lap around it with just Vipers. Save the replay for Manny

Sleeping in till noon, a greasy breakfast at 1pm, some Excedrin and a lot of water have me back up and primed for tonight's casual festivities! Less than 3 hours!!

BTW I ordered a headset, so next thursday I'll be able to verbally make an ass out of myself to back up my driving skills.
