Indy 500
4 hours long
Formula one cars.

Now who do you think is going to show up?
You started a thread on the same subject. One guy showed an interest in YOUR event.
Then on the last post you stated you don't have a Gran Turismo Formula.

Now read post 391. Paul asked you if you bought one.
Your responds in post 394. Neither a yes or a no.
Just some a statement that he should...."suck on your shamrock shake."
Is this a joke or are you being serious? I consider it to be disrespectful.

So what are we and the 2.6 + million gtplanet members suppose to think?

Now read post 372.
If you want us to accept your idea. Then you need to work with the rest of us.
Which by reading post 372 you have already decided to not work with us.
You have an open wheel career to focus on.

Right now most of us don't have a Gran Turismo Formula car.
You need to understand what is bringing us together. Low budget fun for now.
As we get the time to build our budgets and skills we will go in that direction.

So do you have a Gran Turismo Formula? A yes or a no is all thats required.

So until we reach that level.
The only two Gran Turismo Formula cars on the track would be yours and mine.
So it would be a waste of my time. Because you made the statement that you're not a
endurance racer. I'm more of a sprinter.

May 29th Is tentatively either the Tour of U.S. or break number two.

June 5th we will take a break. This is in observance of BOSSes day off.

June 12th is tentatively scheduled as the Tour of U.S. or a Main Event at Lemans.

June 19th is Casual Night

June 26th is undecided pending any new content that PD may release.

July 3th we will take a break. This is in observance of the July 4th Holiday.

August 28th we will take our final break before the start of the fall schedule.

Hopefully tonight this will get finalized with news of the Race car events.

Stay tuned.
Anyone wanting to input ideas, feel free to post it here or send me a PS3 message.

I like the idea of a main event with LeMans cars.

4 hours?!?!?!?! I'm going to have to quote Kosmo Kramer here "hoochie mama"

Thats what I'm trying to convince mckeag53.
Indy 500 what? I need more. Is he talkng about the track or the actual annual event.

Now according to him he wants to race the actual event. 500 miles. Two hours plus
Last week he tells us he's a sprinter not an endurance driver. Thats why we reduced the Tour of Europe laps down from 12 to 10. So he can keep up. Then he tells us he can't make it because he's concentarting on his open wheel career.
When we asked him if he has a Gran Turismo Formula. The only answer we get is ....." suck on his shamrock shake."

The only problem with Lemans cars is again mckeag53. Last week we ran at Lemans and he shows up with a NASCAR.
Then he kicks himself out of the race because nobody would wait on him. I have the replay.

The young driver needs to realizes that we race as a group and thats our success.
Making suggestions for upcoming events is great. Just take the moment to look at everyone else.

If I walk into mcdonalds and ask for a small mac. The kid behind the counter is going to ask duh, duh dude Do you want anything to go with that, dude?

I want Indy 500.

Anything else? How about a shamrock shake?

Now for mckeag53. I know you're reading this. Do you remember any of this during our off line discussions?

ADDED: Hocchie moma
ADDED: Ok lets check into the Lemans thing. Everyone voice their thoughts and can you acquire a Lemans. It also possible if not everyone has a top Lemans car that we run the GT3 series cars
or the one make Audi. The event would be held on June 12th. Which is the thursday before the real race. We can try for an hour long race and its possible if you guys want to have SOME night racing.

Oh yeah Hocchie Moma

Wow I am actually happy with the response to my posts.

The Shamrock Shake comment; this wasn't directed at you, nor will it be elaborated upon.

As for the Indy 500; it was just a suggestion. Personally I will race anywhere in any car; that's the joy of Gran Turismo.

As for the Formula GT topic (separate). This topic is not to be discussed here.

Alright gentlemen. We are less than 24 hours away from our Tour of Europe.
Review 398 for all the details. If there's any questions about the tracks you can review post 406.

Last nights practice session was a success and thanks to everyone who attended.

The key to tonight's racing will be...stay out of trouble and you'll stay ahead of everyone else. Brands Hatch will be tight, Silverstone will be wide open, Monza...watch your speed or the sand will get you. Spa will be wide open and the Nurburgring F1 circuit will be tight.

If they are any questions about regulations these short clips should help.

Can you say YAA?

Let the Tour of Europe begin.

Why because I'm ready for Casual Night

Don't worry. After tonight the schedule will be Casual for a while.
Everyone has to have a break and get out of the house.

The next big night will be June 12th. We'll create our own version of Lemans.... within an hour.
The cars will be the big bad LMP 1s.

I'm going sent out the list of eligible cars this weekend. We're going to go fast.

ADDED: I'm also going to send out the schedule for the rest of the summer.
Hopefully before this fall we'll get ANY new stuff to play with.

Good thing. I was getting worried.

Stuck at work for the time being, will most likely join the tour while it's already going on.
Don't wreck the tracks and cars too fast, so I can race a bit later...

@FlipJ ,Would starting @ 8:30PM be a help. I would like to have as many people involved as possible and I think that Tarkus would be flexible if we had a timeframe to work with.

Definitely an awesome night of racing. Drama at the front middle and back.
Battles were everywhere you looked.

Hopefully I can post some photos this weekend.
I lost count of how many times I spent on two wheels.

I think I speak for everyone. It's time for Casual Night next week.

Looking into the future. Our next Main Event will be LEMANS the Thursday June 12 before the real 24H Lemans.

OK folks some basic shots of our Tour of Europe races.

Alright gentlemen.
Here's what's on the schedule

May 15th Casual Night.
May 22nd Casual Night.
May 29th Casual Night.
June 5th Casual Night.
This format is to allow everyone the opportunity to relax, spend some time outdoors, and with family members.

June 12th we are working on racing around the famous Lemans track. The real race will be held that same weekend.

The final Tour, Tour of U.S. will happen on or near June 26th.

July 3th will also be a Casual night.

We are discussing then to restart the three tours with race cars from the various regions.
Japan. GT 300
Europe GT 3
U.S. U.S. race cars

August 28th is the week of the Super GT at Suzuka. We are discussing two Main Events. One with GT 300 and then GT 500 cars. Each 20 laps.

Suggestions so far.
Muscle cars at the non Tour tracks either a Casual night idea or a separate series.
Karts ON smooth tracks

There's more, but I just experienced a brain fart.

Hopefully by this fall we'll receive some new content to play with.
