Sorry - work work work...
It's not that I'm embarrassed to check if everyones tail lights are functioning it's that I literally may not be able to sit for any length of time and work the wheel - this back tweek was a doozy... I'll chase my ibuprofen with some vodka and try to see if I can make it and continue my quest for most improved!!!

:gtpflag:Alright gentlemen:gtpflag:

May 8th Main Event Announcement sheet

The Tour of Europe 550PP:bowdown:

We will race starting at 8:00 PM EST. So start planning.💡💡

All five races will be 10 laps long. All rules as in the Tour of Japan will apply.

The tracks:

Brands Hatch the full GP circuit.:eek:
Silverstone the full F1 circuit:nervous:
Monza the full circuit w/the chicanses on the main straight away.:cool:
Spa-Francorchamps yeah the real deal:drool:
Nurburgring GP/F1 the Formula One circuit :confused:

Due to time conflicts all races will start rougly at 11:00 AM. Track owners have informed me the tracks will be closed during afternoon and evening hours. This is in an effort to get the tracks ready for the real events scheduled for later this year.

Also due to global warming conflicts there is no rain, snow, or any unusual weather expected.
So all teams are authorized to remove and rain removal equipment ie: motor, wipers and fluid containers.

And yes this announcement sheet will recieve the official stamps of approval. My smiles.

:gtpflag: :gtpflag::gtpflag::gtpflag::gtpflag::cheers:

Oh, before I forget. Great racing last night. Everyone I think had fun??.

To the owner of the Lamborghini Muira.

Can I please have my doors back? I'm sure your collection of doors is beginning to fill up your garage. Mine were just cheapo doors with cheapo paint.

You keep the other driver's doors. I won't tell. THANKS

Ok some basic photos from our Casual Night

Ok this is an extension to post 398.
For those wanting to practice on the selected tracks this is a simple guide to locating the tracks.

When you select World circuits look for:

Tracks
Brands Hatch Grand Prix 2.43 miles 9 corners
Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit 3.66 miles 18 corners
Autodromo Nazionale Monza 3.60 miles 10 miles
Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps Forward 4.35 miles
Nurburgring GP/F 3.20 miles 17 corners

Of course I'm using the event planner in online mode so if you have questions, let me know.

Heads up guys. The next challenge in the GT Academy is up.
Apricot Hill with the 370Z.

Anyone wanting to input ideas, feel free to post it here or send me a PS3 message.

Alright, next Casual night you'll do a 200 lap exibition run for us.
Your open wheel career will be judged on performance, tire and fuel management, and most of all car control.

If I recall. You started this thread. The last comment you made was something along the lines of I don't have a Gran Turismo Formula car. Has this changed?

Bottom line is you're going to have to be more specific.
I can't will not accept: Jumping off a bridge as a suggestion.
Which bridge?
Cloths on or off?
Day or night?
Dive or free style?
Can we hold our junk?

That's a separate post not to be confused with the spinning arrows club. You asked for suggestions... I think all the needed information is my initial post.
Indy = indianapolis speedway
500 = 500 miles
Formula GT = Formula GT

I figured this was a moderately known event. (The indy 500 I mean)

Again everyone review post 398.
As far as post 408, standby. I'm waiting on the BOSS.

I would suggest May 22nd become an open casual night. Granted there may be people traveling, but there also still may be numerous members who still want to race. I will still host this as an open casual night for anyone still within range of their PS3's. Same applies to July 3rd. I will not be traveling and will therefore, still host a casual night for any interested. As we all know, there are no commitments or points tallied up at the end of the year (that you all know about - Mwa-ha-ha!!!), so just show up if you can and want to have an easy casual evening of racing.

I would be open to an Indy car event but it would need to be much later. As of now I doubt many people even have the only car available for it. I've already run into a few times where we tried a Daytona run with NASCARs and someone didn't have one. I kind of feel bad about that and hate telling people to go buy an expensive car. in this case it would be a $2 mill car that to my knowledge, doesn't get used in the game (yet). Of course I'm only about 30% through so what do I know. How long would an Indy 500 take (approx.)? Maybe it could be an unsanctioned event run on casual nights similar to the Daytona 25 lap races although 500 miles would be way too much for a casual night. 1st sentence above still applies though as far as when.
