Sorry I dropped out, fellas.
My connection was spotty all night, until it finally broke down.
Capt, I think I bumped you at the start of Suzuka, sorry about that, I lagged right as I was coming into the turn next to you.

It was nice to see you all on the track again, next week I'll try to be prepared for the onslaught.

Ole
Thanks for letting me pop my cherry with you guys - sorry I think my mic may have pooped out at the end - so sorry I had to duck out, but clearly I was out of my depth - but good time.... I'll start off with the minor leagues and work my way back up to you guys one day... Thanks for the run

Last night was the serious side. I suggest you run with us next Thursday which is Casual night. Races are much shorter and there's a more relax atmosphere. Its more of a car show with a variety of PP limits. You'll get the chance to pick what we run and get a better feeling for the gang.

Last nights races were so good that I don't know where to begin. There were some great battles all over Japan. It was good to get a couple of new people into the fold. I have more to post but, my head is still a little foggy after partying all night with my pit crew after taking the Championship. Today is a day to let the jet lag wear off and relax and worry about the next leg of the tour in two weeks. Terrific fun last night and hope to see you all soon.

I couldn't agree more. Ole, you should stop by next week where things are much more relaxed. We basically pick a PP limit randomly and have at it for about 3-5 laps per track (which is random also). So there will be nobody there with a car that's super finely tuned to the specific track as nobody knows what we'll be running until gametime.

Personally I'm a sprint racer not an endurance racer. Even after finishing last running in 2 of 3 events I was in it was still fun just to drive.
Hope to see you back out there for casuals next week

200+ miles in half a week. Not considering I drive under 300 in the average week

Roar, ahhh, is it time to wake up?
What a tour.
First: Congrates the winner of the Tour of Japan. .......Stockerace
Second: Congrates to everyone who particpated. I mean it.
Third: The Country of Japan for letting us use their tracks and facilities.

Most memorable line was....."my hands are sweating."
We had 7 different podium winners.

Hopefully tonight I'll get an opportunity to post some photos.
Hopefully everyone else contributes their favorite moments.

The biggest thanks goes to my pit crew for putting together two great GT-Rs.
THANKS Girls.

Ok, heads up guys and girls.
Next week May the 1st is Casual night. So relax and have fun. Seriously

May 8th we pack up and head to Europe.
The PP limit will be 550
Tracks: 5. The locations will be announced Friday morning May 2nd.

So again shop around the various European and British dealers and find a Road Car.
Again a tuner car is premitted alongwith Concept cars.

Me too. These endurance races have not been too kind to me. I'll keep plugging away though in hopes that I get my "boot Stock" button installed on my DS3 soon.

that was me......... perhaps I'll join again next Thursday for fun... and then if things go well and I may be a fit for the group -- perhaps someone could 'lend me a ride aka tuning help' and then we'll see if in a proper vehicle I could keep up a bit better...
Most of my rides are fashioned for safe manageable laps for learning my new wheel and doing some time trials solo - I can usually dominate the AI - but its not until my cars get up against real tweaked out cars with proper drivers that I find how deficient my settings/ ability are...
but again - not taking anything away from the laps and banter I did participate in... it was good fun...
I just don't want it to be "oh great - the bogey is back" for you guys!

Then rejoin us thursday night.

If you want send out a friend's request and hook up with them. We'll usually hold practice sessions prior to the Main Events.

I'm one of the new guys as well and I've never gotten the feeling that my presence is not appreciated (unless I'm getting in JJG way, like yesterday - sorry again, mate).

If your rides are good for the laps you feel comfortable running, that's already a huge step. It's all incremental gains, and the best ones are made in ability, not tuning.
That being said, people here are usually pretty helpful with the tunes and that should help you turn some faster laps.
Although once you start getting the hang of it, you will probably need to adapt someone else's tunes to your ability/preferences, such as more/less understeer, throttle sensitivity, etc.

Keep coming back because the racing is always fun.
Just be careful of getting too good. There's a hidden "boot the leader" button somewhere....

Please send me a FR on the PSN Ole and I would be happy to help you out in any way that I can. That goes for anyone else in the group that would like to talk tuning. As I said, it's not a secret, I'll help out any one who seeks it.

I have taken this offer up in the past and I can vouch for its effectiveness.
Stock is knowledgeable and also a very pleasant conversation.

Ole, I was going to suggest the same thing. Stock has helped me out with tunings in the past and he usually holds practice runs throughout the week. It's highly recommended and so I also personally vouch for it's effectiveness and on top of that, there's no ego's or anything like that. He's always been there eager to help out anyone he can, all for the sake of the overall group having fun. I would just hate to see you be discouraged after the first week.

I think my "boot the leader" button and the "spin out miserably" buttons were mixed up last night.
