Going to look for the perfect car for this challenge right now.
So many choices from Honda, Nissan, Subaru,Toyota,etc....

素晴らしい、日本車が大好き!

Tarkus did you look into re flowing it yourself? I did it a couple times with my old original PS3, not overly complicated and can be done in an hour if that. Just need a star head and a heat gun.

I did try the basic "heat trick" and will be trying it again shortly. I guess it's not that big of a deal if nothing I try works as I really didn't get too far in the game in the past 2 months since my last back-up. The only thing that gets me is losing 30 cars. I will check youtube for what you mentioned though and give it a shot. THanks

Hope you and Tjger didn't think I was ignoring your invite yesterday evening. I spent most of my time tuning some cars last night and was probably looking at my tablet and some printouts more than the PS3 screen and must have missed the invite when it popped up. Anyway, I think I have my car ready for Japan. probably going with a 300ZX '98. Handles pretty well with the proper tuning.

We did feel slighted but, we understand how busy you are with the meetings and the travel and the business dinners that keep this club going strong. Not to mention recouping 30 lost cars.

 Yeah, all those fancy dinner parties.
The 30 cars are probably in the stock yard or stockerace's stock yard.

\/ \/ \/ \/ Ok keep that on the down lo

print this sheet and pass it around.💡
Just keeping us up at the top of the list and Tjger did such a nice job on this layout I thought that I would just copy and paste it.

Right now its quiet in Japan. Most of the teams are already here.
Tomorrow the news is they'll separate in different directions for any last minute time trials before the Thursday night Main Event.
Special Stage Route 5_1x.jpg

Earlier in the night some of the Teams put on an exhibition show for the locals.
The three cars we were told were not an indication of what those Teams will bring to the Main Event so.....

Ok guys and girls we're approaching the 30+ hour mark.
April 24th 8:00 PM EST The Spinning Arrows Club's 2014 World Tour of Japan begins.
Review post 315 for all the details.

One note of interest.
The cars. All Japanese road cars are premitted. So to answer any concerns. Yes, a Japanese Tuner car is premitted. If it was driven on the roads of Japan it is considered a road car. Will those teams that bring a Tuner car to the races have an advantage? Depends if the driver can handle what he brought. Tuner car Teams are having to dial back their motors in an effort to meet tech requirements. Also the grid order for the following races is 'Reverse'. So the winner will start at the back of the following race.

For those Teams who attended the Tokyo Auto Show and purchased a Concept Car. Good for you. Your car will qualify.

The only tech inspection performed will be no Nitrous and 500 PP.

For those who plan on running some last minute time trials. Here's a quick run down of times to beat.
Tokyo R246 1:46.783
Special Stage Route 5 crap I forgot
Tsukuba 1:04. 562. Which doesn't mean much considering the size of the track.
Suzuka 2:05.541
Motegi Road Course 1:57.329

I intend to run some brief tests, but nothing late into the night.

tjger must sleep.

I've competed against many people who use wheels / setups for them: you're already got a let up on the average competition. Welcome to The Pride

Thanks for letting me pop my cherry with you guys - sorry I think my mic may have pooped out at the end - so sorry I had to duck out, but clearly I was out of my depth - but good time.... I'll start off with the minor leagues and work my way back up to you guys one day... Thanks for the run
