You could not install the casters (or use shorter ones) and cut 5" from the height. I originally planed to set the hole thing directly on the floor and thought of adding the casters when it was almost done. My plywood base was 4'x2' but sounds like you may need to go with a ~5' long base.
 
4-17-2014 EVENT SET-LIST

1) Nascar @ Motegi West. 10 Laps. PP: 537 HP: 445 Weight: 1615 (adjust your ballast)
2) Cancelled due to lack of track lighting
3) 1-Make Rally Car event: 5 laps at Club Picked track
4) Mustang Event (Mentioned above by Stock).
5) Red Bull Jr. @ Le Mans: 1 PM, normal tire wear, 10 laps, no restrictions. (This will be a test for April 24th's event).
6) Nascar @ Daytona: 10 PM, 25 laps, no restrictions.

PS: I won't be able to get on til at least 8:30, hope I don't miss any of these events.

I won't be able to make it this Thursday, unfortunately.
I have a hot date; she's thin, lithe, 9 years old and looks like me a lot (unfortunately for her).
And also the previous owner of aforementioned Hello Kitty chair, so I have to be in her good graces....
 
Thursday night has a strong NASCAR theme to it.
What are the chances we make an all NASCAR night?
NASCAR is also run at Laguna in IRL. It couldn't hurt to run them at Toyko.

Daytona, everyone knows how to win there. So how about 50 laps?

Red Bull Jr. is out for me.
Big fight at the house over the Mustang Event, so the Mustangs is also out.
After the girls calm down, I'm going to take the nine Mustangs we bought and do a photo shoot with them individually and in pairs.

Nine Mustangs, two JGTC Pennzoil GT-Rs, and one Super GT 2008 Motul GT-R. 3,000,000. Ouch.

That should give you time to jump in at the finish. I believe 8:30 PM was your jump-in time.
Then go straight to Daytona and 50 laps.
Cool down race Laguna Seca 25 laps.

Do you want us to start that race at Motegi West with 20 laps? I believe each lap would be around a minute.
That should give you time to jump in at the finish. I believe 8:30 PM was your jump-in time.
Then go straight to Daytona and 50 laps.
Cool down race Laguna Seca 25 laps.

The next event is the red bull jr @ le mans but is still in the works.
Time is a concern so having this event remain a short one is only a godo thing. Maybe if we have time we can run a third nascar event. I figure on being on til after 11

This is a good point. It may be that not everyone has this car. I really did hate to see JJG having to try and run through Daytona with a GT car while we ran 25 laps in our NASCARS back when he first joined. So maybe we should consider pushing that one back at least two weeks.
Of course we can just keep the idea in the back pocket for this week and if everyone has the car and is up for it, why not. We just won't make it a S.A.C. officially sanctioned race for this week.

The RedBull event has not even been announced as of yet. Let's keep private discussions in private until they are released to the club forum. The Red Bull can be won for free so there is no cost involved in it's use.

Alright Drivers, April 17th is the Spinning Arrows Club's Casual Night.
Ahh look, the teams are already heading to the track now. From far away they travel.

I wonder what the other teams will bring.

Ok guys just a heads up. My Coral of Horses are washed and prepped.
Hopefully I can use each one in tonights Casual night. I maybe driving slow at times and thats because my girls will be taking photos. Also I will be running an automatic in each one. My Team Owner doesn't want me grabbing any unnecessary sticks while driving. It could get sticky especially with my HARDS on.

Maybe I should get my windows tinited to hide my excitement.


ADDED: Hmmm, a title change for our thread. I like it.

I am so sorry to everyone out there in the club but my PS3 just bit the dust. it popped then the screen went blank as the red light started blinking. I will not be in the races tonight!
 
If you don't mind, send BH68 an FR. I spoke to Ben earlier this week and he said he would be racing tonight. if you don't mind of course.

April 17th (our next Thursday racetime) is the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang.
As a tribute to the old horse, we're having a fun run. Not a full out Endurance race but, a longer casual pp race.
15 laps @ Grand Valley Reverse.
570PP limit (to allow anyone in the club to use their previous Shelby)
No HP limit
No W8 limit
RS tires, no need for a compound change. (fun run remember)
Normal tire and fuel wear
There are a total of 9 Mustang variants in the game.
Choose your steed and bring him to battle.

I can't believe I'm missing racing against pinkie Pie. I'm so distraught but am very glad Stock stepped up to the plate and took the reigns for the night. I'm picking up a new ps3 tomorrow and will be back soon.
 
Another great night of racing was had by all. We did however miss our exalted leader, Tarkus who succumbed to the Red Ring Of Death before last nights races. We all hope he makes a full recovery and will be back with us soon.
 
Yeah BOSS you missed it. Three races where everyone was chasing my tail.
You could say...."I JUMPED out front and ran off."


ADDED: Now to be fair. The other races.

I decided it would be best to let the faster drivers take the lead(s). Several in fact.

This just in from Race Central:
Tarkus Racing Development has developed a serious setback this week as it has been theorized that the lead mechanic and chief pit crew member was actually a Microsoft spy. There were numerous acts of sabotage on the TRD vehicles leaving TRD virtually dead in the water so to speak. At this time, there are agents from numerous gov't agencies from all over the globe looking to get to the bottom of this. Now it just needs to be seen if the FBI, KGB, WTF, BFD, BFF's, OMG, ROFL and LOL can all work together to apprehend the culprit and bring him to trial.
In a late night interview with a representative from TRD shortly after the incident, he was quoted as saying that "this minor, yet annoying and expensive setback will not deter TRD. We will most likely be back and ready for the races next week and with a vengeance".
