There's been some discussion about refining the S.A.C. race schedule.
Nothing firm, just things being thrown on the table.

Everyone knows that we have three formats. Casual, Main, and Grand Events.

The Casual Nights are for everyone to enjoy with simple rules and a Car Show atmosphere.
The Main Events are for everyone with a desire to try something a little more serious, but keep it simple.
The Grand Events are for the serious drivers who like to push themselves to the limit both physically and mentally.

In the last few days our club has discussed including a stellar event for our out of the world drivers.
That will be planned for GT 15. So for now we're stuck on this planet together.

Sooo, here's a proposal.

We keep our Casual Nights.

Starting with:
January 8........ Casual Night
Jan 15th ........Grand Event
Jan 22nd ..........Casual Night
Jan 29th.........Main Event

We were racing three Casuals and one Main or Grand Event a month.
The big difference is the added Main Event. The Main Events will be 'One Make' races with simple street cars and no tuning.

Examples include the 99-01 GT-Rs, RUF CTR, Shelby GT500, VW GTIs, etc.

The Main Events would serve as a bridge between the Casual crowd and the Serious crowd.
Main Events could be run like our Tour of Japan, Europe, and U.S. Only this time 'One Make"
Five track, ten laps each.

Tracks that we don't visit normally could be used such as Madrid, Rome, London, Cape Ring, and others.

Ok, enough finger talking.

One thing for sure is WE WILL RACE SOMETHING JANUARY 1.
My Team is driving me nuts.

does anyone here know if there's a racing seat I can get for less than $100? I'm looking to get a DFGT and a seat for about 300 bucks

Hey Tjger, can you move me to the Viper? Just looked at page 83 and noticed that I'm incorrectly signed with Chevrolet,

Check out the various home built seats in gtplanet.
As far as the wheel. If you plan on racing in GT 7. The Thrustmaster T300 0r T500 is the way to go.

The DFGT wheel is great, but will be outdated soon.

I doubt I'll carry on to GT7 immediately. I've decided to stay with GT6 until the servers get cut. If I have to justify, it's for the sake of the Vision GT cars if they don't get carried to 7.

Santa forgot my wheel, but he handled the important stuff a while!came with destiny so i guess i will have to check it out?!?! image.jpg

So you would rather pay 800 bucks next year vs. 500 bucks now. Great logic.
As far as Vision cars. They been around longer than you. Concept cars, Dream cars. Called what you will. I call them ideas.

DFGT will still be compatiable for PC so no loss there. I could find some remapping software or an adapter something if it really comes down.

PC?
So you plan on racing on PC next year?

Ok let's see if I can figure this out.

You'll stick with Gran Tursimo as long as they keep the Vision GT cars.

There are no Vision cars in the PC racing world.

You'd rather drive a damn old Doge Viper but not the modern SLS Mercedes. Why?

You want a cheap seat and a cheap wheel, do you have top notch PC?

You complained that the Honda Fitt race was not about skill rather than about who had the better wheel and internet connection.

So you quit......again.

Do you plan on complaining in the PC racing world? Those guys have the top of the line wheel and an internet connection that rivals NASA.

So please enlighten all of us.
