I have the perfect friend! @JockeP22 you can check with him and most of his friends are from Europe! And on top of that he is really friendly and has his own club if you are interested
Hey Manny! OK, I'll have a look to JockeP22. And once again, many thanx for your support!!!

Hey neighbour!

There are various skill levels racing together & we all have fun with it but yes I'll happily race around with you when we are both free.

I've been away from my lovely PS3's for almost 3 months but am returning now.
Normally I can be found at the PSN ID M_Mallet_Jr & occasionally at St_Bridge44.

When I was in Spinning Arrows rooms before, the other guys were all from the other side of the Atlantic but some other guys joined up just as I was leaving temporarily. I haven't had the pleasure of racing everybody yet.
Jocke is in Sweden, I think mphile is in Germany [Edit: According to GTPlanet I got that wrong. USA, only a few miles out!] & there may be others nearer to us too now.

Thanx for the info! I'll send you a PSN request @ M_Mallet_Jr...

Oops, I forgot that I marked my nationality.

If you want to add me, my PSN ID is RMedia_Obelisk
Very kind, I'll send you a request...

glad you could join us Patrick....I'm not from that side of the world unfortunately...I'm from the Caribbean but I do try to race frequently. If you just want to try out some racing you are welcome to add me, if its not to laggy then maybe we can have a good time!
Hi! Which time zone are you from?

@o_OPaTricKO_o if your Internet connection is good then you shouldn't really have problems with lag.
I don't have top level equipment but I do use a wired connection & it seems to work well enough that I haven't had any complaints from the rest of the club. I've raced in Japanese rooms without a problem too, even though some other people have had issues with a distance as far as that.
I wouldn't have faith in joining an Australian room without experiencing connection/delay issues but that's just based on guesswork from things I have read on here.

@ all: Sorry, but I have to learn the interacting method here on the forum. I think/hope, it's OK in a few days...
I think you're doing fine. 👍

If you do feel that you want to find out anything that could help then there's loads of information in the F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions) which is linked at the bottom of every page. It may or may not help you out.

The Site Support section, linked at the bottom of the main forums list, sometimes provides interesting information too.

Fine, thanx!
PSN request is done...

Oh, how did you get your English flag under you "S_Bridge" name???

Thank you! But are they "respectable" (sounds a little strict...?...). I mean, you know what I'm looking for...
Yes they are "respectable" only thing is that the only Run with the Z8, Tell you what next time when we have a casual night jump on so we can see how the connection is... In casual night races you can drive whatever car you want. Those races are PURE fun!

Who, me? I remember that I was pretty ticked off at myself for flying off track early on in the race and I pretty much didn't care who was in my way because I was focused on getting first.

Let me point out that the race in question was five months ago.

If you're going to point that out, then I feel a need to point out that you shouldn't be so reckless on the race track. You should, as we all should be, racing everyone with respect no matter how they may have wronged you. In this case as I understand it you took out other people because you were angry that you ran yourself off the track? No wonder there are guys here that are fuming about you, in their eyes you've shown them no respect and a bad temper and that's about it. So yes, on with the 2J race, hopefully it's a clean and fair race with no off track escapades for everyone. I WILL be there.

I really don't see he pays any respect to other drivers in his statement..... :grumpy:
Past tense. This was five months ago.

As I say, the past is the past.

Now who do I owe apologies to?

Edit: I won't be attending the GT3 enduro event anyways, so best of luck to the brave souls that have to tackle Turn 1.

We did a lot of OB bashing at the time. We did it fairly respectfully & in a way that was filled with advice & accurate criticism so not really "bashing" as such.
Hopefully we're seeing signs that our collective advice & criticism has helped him to grow.
Fair play to him if he has stopped the kind of thing described above.

it's not going after your apology, it's the way you say it and the way you drive/race....

seems you don't care if you hit someone out of the track as long as you will get to the front.

in fact, you are right, I got pushed out of the track by you twice during the Fit races....

Entirely accidential,

It does take a while to get used to our racing club.
I have not drivin with other racers online that are as respectful and willing to yield space / time to maintain their clean driving record.

I struggled initially with setup as I had all my cars tuned for time trials and individual hot lapping that I liked to do.
but time trial cars are not fast RACE CLUB vehicles.
period
They don't promote a proper race line and "in traffic" stability and speed

I feel our "project slow learner" will fit in a bit better once he embraces the advice that he will be respected more if he is slow and steady than a one hit wonder.

I have been racing since April or May of last year and last casual night MANNY told me that he was impressed by my night.
Manny knows how I run and he knows how hard I've worked to drive in traffic. That ment a lot to me when he said that because I felt I had earned it by working hard to fit into this club

I have mentioned to OB that this is the only way he will fit in round these parts.
but I think we've all mentioned to him ways to fit in.

We are fast because we started slow and clean and stable and then got fast while being clean and stable
this I fear has been a hard hard lesson to learn....

Other clubs are much cleaner & expect you to yield any positions gained by an incident that you caused until everybody affected has gone past. Care must also be taken when returning to the track, this can cause you to drop down even further in the field.
We're very relaxed about enforcement here, the plus side of which is that newcomers & learners can feel comfortable about making mistakes & moving on as they improve.
I started here & I love it.

Yes I was very intimidated initially to online racing - I didn't race online at all in gt5 and SAC was my first experience.
We are all very spoiled that its a great learning ground with some top talent as well.
As we flirt with capacity we all need to be mindful of respecting what we have.

that's the one thing I like very much with GT6 which is the blind-spot indicator.

it tells me if there's another car beside me thus I can avoid incident.

on the other hand... I started in here since Jun 2014, thanks to Mazda for bringing me here thus I can get to know all you nice fellow.. :)

as for learning... to be honest, I have learn alot from those racing events, from how to setup different kinds of cars to testing different tires compound in order to collect data for pit strategy, it is so much fun.

and I always share those with my fellows in here.

I can't say I am the very good or the fast drivers in here, but if you need advice or help, I can offer...

and if you ask what it takes to fit into this SAC or any other racing club....

what I can say is, you never write out your performance in your post.

You show your performance, ability and skills from races, not causal races but those Main and Grand Events..!!

Nobody respect big mouth, but big racers.

So psn is down for maint in some areas tonight(i cant get on!). Also the big news is also down on thurs which is raceday for 4hrs! Then there may be additional maint after they say????? Thurs nights race could be tuff, just based on past issues of races after a maint period from before, dammit!

I had a lot of high hopes for the young man.
But instances in the past on and off the track have changed my mind permanently.

He knows what I'm referring too and it is final.

He can race with anyone he wants too. He hasn't lost anything except one individual on his FR list.

He longer has to worry about me watching him.

The gtplanet community is huge enough for him to move on without me nagging him.

Right now I'm in discussion on the subject. Everyone needs to back up their progress.
