Listen here you Boston boys or where ever you're from. After I kill the prey, I can mount the animal on the hood of the Viper. The engine will keep it warm and I can spray the juices using the windshield fluid bottle. So now I have a 'smoker on the go.'

When I drive into the pits at home. I'll slam on the brakes and BAMMM cooked food ready to eat. If I'm driving the Ford GT. I can't smell if the meat is cooked. By driving a little slower. The meat will cook more evenly.

There's a reserve driver willing to join your team. He's very rusty after 3 months away & has not yet learned the car or the track or even how to drive anything really. He stepped out onto the track today for the first time & ran a few 1.47 & 1.48's. A bit off the pace yes but if a space appears on the grid he'll be willing to cruise around for the practice & experience of getting back into racing.
The moral support will certainly be there all the way.

I'm on Team Mercedes, whether I get in the race or not. :cheers: If not racing, I'll be on your pit crew.

Well on my way to daytona i heard on the radio a cry for help in the merc camp. It stated drivers needed with plenty of perks! I said hmmmmmm? Stopped by the shop and test drove the machine, it was love at first site! So i trade in one german machine for the other and decided to sign with team sls amg gt3 '11. Might not be a recomended move on race night eve but what the heck. Mazda u now have an extra buddy on track!

7:38 and 7:41. A three minute gap in which he can't recognize that the beer guys are already there.

There's no post edit note time. Three minutes at Daytona is two laps.

Team Hendrick Moparsports had plenty of disconnects tonight. no more then 5 or 6 laps and daytona officals kept choosing the disconnect card.

When the media finally found the driver on lake lloyd fishing he choose to only say two words

If a space becomes available I'll drive a Mercedes. I believe I'm still on the reserve list for now.

Whilst practicing with a manufacturer last night, FAN_Lawless was approached by another manufacturer and asked to have a go in their car, which he adds was very well prepared. The management are now in talks, and going over paperwork to seal the deal on the factory car(which ever one that maybe). Both have made very good offers (and the pit babes are quite the lookers). For the moment we will all have to wait until the gates open before practice to see which car turns up for prestigious Daytona event!!!
 
I love how we all prepare and plan for a month and then everyone the week before switches cars.... hahahaha
our only loyalty is to speed!!

I'm hoping for some spinning arrows as the Ford GT is set up for stability and consistency as opposed to overtaking or straight line speed.

no one needs to feel like they won't have someone to race at the mid / back of the field... I'll be there sippin on vodka redbulls each backstretch hoping for the personal victory of not being the first person lapped

that field looks super intimidating...

I should be able to get the car to my pitbox by 7est

You sure got that right Ole. I gotta say though it's a bit of a bummer that sim won't be here, I was looking forward to what he had prepared so I could see if i'd be able to keep up. Should still be a nuts race though, I'm seeing at least 4 major contendors in this one. 9 hours from now someone is going to be sweating their nuts off in the race to the finish.

After running a few laps, Team Mercedes have concluded that M_Mallet_Jr can't be trusted to get the car around the track anywhere near safely.

If anybody is still on the waiting list I will relinquish my spot. I'm happy to give it a go as a grid filler if there is nobody waiting in the wings, there is still time to practice a bit more but the spot would be less useful to me than somebody who is prepared.

I'll get to work ready for Tokyo & should be back to racing form by then.
