dear alien driver,

there's no restriction on washroom-break during the 120mins endurance race tonight, therefore, when your nature is calling, you may pit-in, and walk to the nearest washroom in the drivers lounge, which is located in the Daytona Beach Hilton Hotel 12.7 miles from the track.

I am very much sure other drivers are more than pleasure to let you take your time for your washroom-break.

That said, you are more than welcome to drink/consume as much liquid/alcohol as you want before and during the race tonight.

We have lost our driver again. Last seen storming out of the garage "something something get me a drink" is all we heard.
Apparently showing him his Las Vegas Betting Odds of 800/1 as "bulletin board material" backfired and instead of it challenging him to perform to the best of his ability... he's instead has taken this opportunity to have another "well I'm not going to win anyway" drink.

if you see him - please direct him back to the pit garage area...

or who knows - he's so crazy he could be calling his bookie to empty his 401k and bet it all on himself....

you never know....

The track will open in just under four hours 5:00 PM EST

Your Team is encouraged to arrive as early as possible.

Once inside the track facilities you are free to drive and tune or sit quietly in the pits.

At 8:20 PM EST sharply Qualifying will begin.

The race will begin at 8:30 PM EST

Conditions at the track
Sunny with a temperature of roughly 88 degrees F

The race will start at 2:30 PM EST and end at 2:30 PM EST tomorrow in real time.

The track officials have looked over the rules and regulations and have made one adjustment for safety concerns.

At the speeds we will be driving tire wear will be an issue.

So to ensure no one is stretching their luck which could result in an incident

Every driver will be required to make three stops minimum.

So take the time to ensure your team is well prepared.

I'm sure he set the alarm at 2am to delete his cashe, check the forum, turn the house temp down 1 degree while Mrs. Tjger wasn't looking, go back to bed... repeat at 4am... charge both controllers, unplug and re-plug in wheel... test lap... back to bed... lay in bed awake, google on his smartphone what does Michael Shumacher eat for breakfast... watch alarm clock count down the minutes as he does the math of how many laps that would equal...
etc.. etc... etc....

this is Tjgers SAC swan song... he's got to be ready!!!

TEAM VODKA UPDATE:
We have not seen our driver as of 2pm CST, however one of the pit crew's wife did receive a text from him...
So we do feel he is alive somewhere - perhaps laying in a ditch practicing for tonight.

In other team related news... Our quest for sponsorship with PROJECT CARS, a shameless attempt to by putting a Project Cars logo on both bumpers add a distraction to certain drivers, was not given enough time to become a reality and we were not able to secure this additional "distraction sponsorship".

Now that's a vote of confidence, but completely false, not even in the ball park with those guys. I'm not an Enduro racer yet, but i'm building my skills. Our club is loaded with talented drivers, a few just a little faster than the rest. I'm part of "the rest". Alex, you are always running up-front. You keep talking about those guys, but you are just as fast.

thank you for your kind words... you've definitely make my day..!! lol

I am ok fast in this group, but still about 1~1.5 secs off pace from the alien group.

if you look at the result, I am always right behind the fast group on ranking but far behind in terms of the actual time, and just right in front of the human behind me both ranking and time wise... :P:P




my advice: choose a big a$$ car that's almost as wide as the track...!!! :mischievous: :lol::lol:

I wish I could classify in that division too, I would discount myself from it mostly because I have this ugly tendency to take myself out. On top of that mphile and Arveena have a bit more speed than I do fairly consistently, the last week or so seems to have been a bit of an exception to the rule.

Other thing of note, the home theater sound system is moving into the rig room just for this race so I can get the full experience. This is gonna be a blast.

Edit: what a waste of time and effort that ended up being.
