One more question: What are the properties of a "street car" vs. a "race car"?
OK, the question seems stupid but with some cars it's not that easy to "feel" the difference... e. g. cars with aero parts are still street cars or already race cars???

Any time ole! Ive learned a ton from some great racers one mainly in the name of dandale, and if u ever c this guy in a room prepare to get smacked around! He is a public rm open lobby kinda guy but is nasty fast. So if i can pass some of his lessons along i will for anyone. A faster ole makes me happy, glad it worked out!

ive raced with dandale before even tho its probably been 6-8 months since i did a race with him and to back up mphile he is crazy fast ive been able to stick with him for maybe half to 3/4 of a lap and thats about it

so I'm feeeelin pretty good about myself right now
I'm not sure how long the high will last...
likely not until next week....
but dam those efers know how to throw down"

SO we decided on a car
locked in a slot in the 16 team roster
changed cars
changed back....

Anyway, hopefully its welcome news that Team Vodka has locked in the final spot for the gt300 event next week and that many will have a greater chance to distance from the back of the pack now!

but thank you to those that have helped me with a little crash course prep to get me up to speed the last few days...

SAC members are the best few fellows to enjoy this game with I have no doubt

Let's talk safety

Tokyo R246 is pretty much straight forward.
The only section of the track which posses a safety hazard is the pit lane exit.
Through out the race, cars will be exiting pit lane and unfortunately the AI is designed to
place the exiting car directly onto the preferred driving line.

So during your practices session(s).
Take the time to learn how the car will be ejected onto the track.

Most importantly, watch who's in the pits. For those in the pits waiting on service.
Look at the map and take note on which cars are coming up the main straight away.


Get in the habit of watching out for yourself.
On coming cars will be at least 100MPH faster than yours.

Don't cause an accident. The damage alone will not be minor.

Concerning race 11, as good as I remember, power was limited to 330HP (approx.). Is that the same case or do we use the same GT300 for the Enduro event?

Because the video has not been mentioned or shared through any official Gran Turismo marketing channels, it’s hard to know what to make of this development. The “Course Maker”, however, remains prominently listed as an upcoming GT6 feature on Polyphony Digital’s official website for the game, so we can only presume it’s inching closer to release.

There's plenty of guesswork going on in
here.

The Grand Event will have two rule changes
1. Qualifying will be increased to 8 minutes instead of 5 minutes.
2. The Subaru Imprezza will receive an additional +5 HP. 315HP 👍

The Announcement Sheet will get updated

All other settings will remain the same.

Pulse Films and Ninian Duff, the video’s director, were commissioned by the London-based creative agency Brothers & Sisters to create ads for Sony Europe when the game was released in 2013. Other videos in the series include “Gran Turismo ‘Beat’” and “Gran Turismo ‘Dance’“.

Although this latest ad, Gran Turismo ‘BMX’, appears to have been produced around the same time (it even includes the now-dated #GT6IsComing hashtag), it was only published to Vimeo and Pulse’s web page a few weeks ago. It was left unnoticed until it was discovered by GTPlanet user Dionisiy earlier today.

I'm with some of the guys in the comments on the article. I think this is old and was just uploaded recently as a portfolio piece. This was probably made by a studio before GT6 released (hence the hashtag) to be a portion of an ad campaign for GT6 so circa early 2013.

Although the optimist in me can't help but to link this to the Alpine VGT Mystery Track. It's a nice coincidence that there is a promo video of a course maker and a Alpine VGT car on an unknown (possibly course maker) track released around the same time.

We have not had an update in 2015... Project Cars is a month from release... New VGT cars and the Nissan GT-R LM are all incoming. Tjger sees where this is going. Put it all together...
