Yes thank you PTK - I spun out at the first corner on the last race and rather than run for 5 laps 25seconds down PTK slowed down to race with me and we were bumper to bumper for 3 laps... It was very good fun and I appreciate the gesture.

I don't think the people that pop in and out of our rooms get what we are all about... Im glad that WE do... And it's quality not quantity...

So most recently, I am very glad PTK has chosen SAC as his new home!! You are most welcome and you raced very good tonight.

Thanks for everyones patience at the beginning...

You two are both very deserving of being in that race... We all had a front row seat to a great heads up battle... You don't see too many races seperated by 3sec where one car finishes backwards!!!!!

ehteam you will be lost to irrelevance I fear and mphile shall be remembered throughout the ages, until project cars come out and half us leave or gt7 comes out and we can't find each other again!!

The Trophey is off to the engravers mphile!! You can't win them all unless you win the first!!!

This casual night had a little different feel to it... I think next week will be a bit more chill to wind down after tjgers event... I'm glad we all made the best of it!

Mallet did the same with me at Laguna Seca after I've been bumped out by EH (I think at least). It was in fact also a very kind gesture and we had also fun... 👍

I didn't choose the SAC, but Manny brought me there. And I'm very proud to have found a place in it and for getting better and better... Thank you all guys, I'm learning a lot from you!!! :cheers:

Hey Manny, How do you export videos to a computer. I went into the gallery and exported to ps3, then to a usb stick. I get nothing. Trying to upload The BAD Championship.

The Only way is with a capture devise :indiff:
I know EHTeam has one so I am not sure if he saved the replay and if he will upload it.
Other then that I am not sure how upload it with out a capture device.... Maybe you can record it with a Cam recorder or Cellphone. I've seen YouTube videos like that 💡

I was gonna ask for all the nasty details.... but you aired the laundry! :lol: At least SOMEONE get some pics so I can see all the radical cars you guys brought. And of course a replay of the War of the Worlds... MarsPhile and EuropaTeam. ;)

So looking forward to next week! Tokyo enduro then casual night back-to-back. 👍:D:tup:

Don't know if I can manage the two races "back-to-back". I've to find some sleep sometime... :eek::indiff::ill:
 
I can say this, eh team was the faster guy. He had a mistake which helped me stay alive because he was dragging my but around to that point. Once i got passed him i was racing in my mirror(rookie move) and being way to soft. Keep in mind fella's, when u get out front dont look back. Most of all if eh team is chasing u, he will catch u!!! Good race bro!

I agree with this (however, you did a very good race and you won, this is racing!!! 👍). As you were gone, I tried my best but he caught me every time!!! :banghead:

I might be completely wrong here so feel free to tell me to shut up...

The saved replay data is not a video file in itself. It is data that can be understood by GT6 in order to place the cars exactly where they were during the race.
This is evident if you rewind a replay after a car has skidded - the track still has burnt rubber on it while the car has moved back to before the point of the skid.

I believe the saved replay data file can be sent (via email? Or maybe PSN?) to another user? The recipient of the file could use GT6 to watch the replay from this data, while capturing video (the PS3's output to TV) with a capture device.

I'm doubting myself as to whether any of this is accurate. I've never done anything like that myself, I just pick things up from browsing GTPlanet. I imagine if it was true, Manny would have tried it before?

That is absolutely TRUE!!
Me and Tjger do this all the time! That's how I was able to make some of the trailer cause Tjger would get you guys together for a race on a weekend and since I couldn't be there cause of work he would save the replay and send it to me.
Only way to send it is via email and depending on how long the replay is it will depend on how may files it has!

I also did that with Alex at the Miata Enduro... None of us was able to see him during the race So I asked him to send me his replay so I could include him in the video.

Reason I said that to BR1 is cause he said HE would like to upload the race... So I gave him my suggestions on how he could upload it....

That's why I always say "save the replay and send it to me" here on the forum :lol:
But nobody ever tells me "I have the replay, should I send it to you"

Except for Alex's, he does send me replay files :bowdown:

I will not be getting over that one anytime soon, :banghead:🤬🤬🤬🤬:banghead: maybe Tokyo can bring some consolation to it. Be warned I will be absolutely on the hunt in that race, the polar bear is riled up. You did the smart thing though mphile, once you got in front you drove conservatively, but just fast enough to keep me from winning. That is how to race, you did it perfectly and on one hand I salute you properly for it with the other it's just one finger salute because that's just how I feel right now. Always a challenge racing you and I have nothing but respect for that.

Team Bridge broke our Endurance driver out of rehab today. The staff had tried to keep him in there. He's just done a 1.42.1 in the BRZ. :D

BTW, a generally question: One have to select tires for the own pit stop strategy. But how is it for qualifying? Shall we use the same tires as those selected for the race??? :confused:

It was on Racing Softs.

I believe you start the race on whichever tyre compound you have used for qualifying. If you wish to change compound after that, this can be done during a pit stop (which came out as "pie stop" the first time I typed it :)).
 
Generally as a rule of thumb the race will start you with the tired you qualified in...
You could possibly set a qualifying lap with your compound of choice and then do a pit stop DURING qualifying and change to the compound you wish to run during the race...

I have not tested this theory - but I think it would work...
You just need to make sure you have time to set your best lap AND change your tires during qualifying.
 
The tires you choose to qualify with, will be the tires you start the race with.
It is possible to win the race using either RM or even RH tires.
That's why the required tire compound change is turned off.

So try mixing and matching tires. 💡
Try running RM on the front and RS on the back. OR
Try running RS on the front and RM on the back.

To win this race you are looking at 'overall time(s). Fastest lap is great for qualifying.

Running RH and making two stops could be faster than making five stops.

If you can avoid the pit row traffic jam. You could win the race.
When you chose to pit will be more important now that we have 16 cars on the track.

Just watch that 10 epic pit row videos a few pages back.
