The past couple of days I've not been playing & was wondering if I was losing interest.
I think that feeling is passing & I'm thinking of doing a few races tonight. It will be in career mode in the new account I've created for the purpose of getting used to using a steering wheel.

I've also been wondering if I just prefer using DS3 & seeing GT purely as a computer game & not at all treating it like a simulator.
I've normally got the game loaded up & dip in & out while also going about my day doing other things too. Having the wheel setup has changed that & it feels more like I'm preparing to commit some time entirely to the game if I sit in the seat.

I'm going to carry on with the new career and the wheel to give it a proper chance. Perhaps I will fall in love with it or maybe I'll decide to revert back to my old methods. Possibly a combination of the 2 at different times. For now, I'm definitely missing having the DS3 on the table in front of me & having the ability to dip in & out while other daily things happen simultaneously.

Either way, I won't be able to play at all in March as I will be working away from home. Apart from the odd hour or so during the 1st week when I will be working only 40 miles from home & will travel back most days.

So that gives me about a week left of playing, I'll have to make sure I get along to casual night on Thursday. This week I wasn't motivated to stay awake late for it. Despicable behaviour, I know. I expect to be there with returned gusto next week.
I'll also try to attend our partner clubs where possible, with my Z8, Mini & Cappuccino. 👍

Then do ...ah, ah, ah just show up this Thursday night for Casual Night. :bowdown: The guys will fill you in on everything.

You know...gossip, rumors, speculations, and the usual drama of a reality show. :lol:

How ever, when the green flag drops......you can't hear a thing except the engines roaring. :cool: The race is on.

should be able to can up about 7qts

It's about an 11 on the heat scale... Just how I like it!!

Started a new project. Wife was complaining that she never gets to watch TV in our media room because of my racing. So I decided to build a game/race room. Here is pics of workday#3. Day 1 and 2 was spent clearing out the back half of my workshop and rebuilding my work bench to the right side of my garage. The room is going to be roughly 20ft x 8ft.

image.jpg Tried to download and install the latest update for gt6 on my dads ps3 and i get this screen? Does this mean i need a external hd for his system? He has the smallest ps3 as far as storage space, i think its a 12g?

Yeah. Backup then throw in a cheap harddrive. An old laptop hardrive should work. It will be internal not external. And you'll need to buy a bracket for the drive, or you can "rig it".

I've done it a bunch so if you need help let me know.

Keep in mind that model of PS3 doesn't have the mounting bracket like in the videos. You can coax the drive in, but sticking something underneath it so the pins don't bend is a good idea. An extra Allen wrench worked for me.

If it is a 12G, yes. The 12Gs were great for everything except gaming.
You'll need a larger HDD.
Western Digital makes two excellent HDDs.
The Scorpio Blue and Scorpio Black. Both are 320G in size.
The only difference is the RPM. The Blue runs at 5400 RPM and the Black at 7200 RPM.

The faster speed refers to how fast the disc spins therefore how fast the disc can read and write data.
The Blue will do him fine. The Black. My favorite

I gave it a try last time and there is nothing but dirty drivers! All of them want the first place so they will ram you. I also finish 2nd place but I didn't get NO credits!!!!

No bro I got 2nd and 3rd and I got 200 000 and something but I'll try the net praiano set up tonight

Maybe there are some people there but you're getting the glitch where you can't see them.

Although, they'd probably show up in the results.

I got to race 4 times and I was by my self... Maybe they couldn't see me cause I kept getting 1st place no matter what. I didn't see nobody on Tue results, but the odd thing is that I would get placed on random spots before the race would start... Ass if I was racing with more people but I couldn't see them
