I been keeping an eye on the GTP News and all the updates we going to get In 1.16 and it seems everybody is really HYPED about all the New VGT cars, Mid-Field and B-Spec mode that people are saying we might get the update Tonight or Tomorrow?!:eek::bowdown:

The Hype Train is real!! cause I am on board with the rest, but is the Hype too High that people are speculating that we going to get the update this week?!

What you guys think?! :cheers:

My hope is first week of March at earliest... best birthday present ever. Major GT6 update, Spring training starts, a trip to Laguna Seca and the start of PWC all in one week. :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: Please Please Please!
 
On a side note.
Yes all those crazy videos about how to fix a PS3 suffering from YLOD do work.
I brought my Metal Gear Solid edition fat PS3 back to life.

Now to bring back my original 60G PS3. I'm starting to sweat again.

At one time I had four PS3s. Now I'm down to three.

Which reminds me. I only have one PS4.

Have you heard the latest about what we're getting on Thursday? Well, Friday morning technically for me.

Approximately 10 new events. They should be around 5 laps each, all at different pp levels. I think some of them will be 1 make races.

There will be a casual feel to the new events & a bar in the pit lane. Some of the drivers may even stop at Manny's Spray Shop before, during & after the races.

Word is that either Ole or Tarkus will have all of the details for us later today.

Regarding 1.16, the news available to us does confirm quite a few additions to the game. New circuits are always a good thing to have.

I don't think we've ever been told in advance of specific dates & times for the release of any updates so it will come when it comes. :)

You are correct. I will be posting the casual agenda this evening and I will give a little hint for one particular race we will run.
Have your NASCAR ready and shipped to Daytona. It's just so much warmer there than in the east coast right now.

I'm considering buying a new car for every race. So I might own 2 NASCARs by tomorrow night.

Server maintenance is scheduled for 8-10 GMT tomorrow night morning which is 3-5 EST.

As a reminder.
Take the time to backup your GT6 progress.
If both Midfield, B-Spec, a new car(s), plus other stuff(shzzz) happens tomorrow.
It will be a huge file.

So log on WELL before the start of Casual Night. :bowdown: You don't want to stuck waiting.

"Server maintenance" is not to be confused with "an update is coming" but that is still very sound advice. The updates do sometimes come soon after maintenance.

Back up your progress because the update to the server maintenance will happen because the maintenance to the update requires a server update. Not particularly in that order because an update can't be confused with maintenance which usually precedes the update which is sometimes announced because no one should mistakenly take the server update as an indication that a maintenance update to the update server will occur.

Oh yeah. The PS3 requires a firmware update to 4.70 So reread and substitute the word firmware for game update.

Did I sum it up correctly?

ok, here's the moment you've all been waiting for. No, not the actual races or the game updates or beautiful women waiting in the pits for you. I'm referring to casual night agenda. So without further delay, because delaying the agenda may make some of you mad. Plus considering how much you look forward to this, it may make you all made and I certainly wouldn't want to do that by delaying anything. That, and only that, is the reason i'm not delaying anything and getting right to the agenda. So again, with any further delay...
race 1 - One make race at trial mountain (forward) as a kind of tribute to our BAD winner and runner up. 5 laps and winner picks next track. car to be used - Subaru something.... crap, can't think but I think its the blue one. So a one make in a blue car!!! how's that.
race 2 - 523PP track decided by one make winner. Any car
race 3 - 572PP VFT and any car
race 4 - 603PP VFT race car
race 5 - 3 laps at La Sarthe 675PP
race 6 - One make race and La Sarthe winner chooses track at 537PP street cars.
race 7 - 547PP VFT any car
race 8 - 20 laps at Daytona with NASCARS. This will be a rolling start with heavy damage so be very mindful of your fellow racers. one small mistake could put someone out of the race from the start and NOBODY wants that (unless they have to pee of course). Tire wear and fuel consumption will be an issue.
race 9 - 598PP VFT any car.
race 10 - 627PP VFT any car
race 11 (if time permits) - 5 laps back to Daytona but the road coarse. Winner of previous race picks PP level.

Also figure on about 6 minutes between each race.
As always, my door is always open for suggestions if something seems out of whack but for the most part, everything should be in whack. Hmmm, I like that, everything is in whack!!!

I've been hired as a poker coach for 8 hot chicks that wanna start their own monthly poker game - I've been hired to teach them how to play no limit texas hold-um....
Soooo.....
If our lesson turns into a strip poker game or breaks out in a pillow/tickle fight I will take pictures.... But for the reason that you can't win the lottery of you don't buy a ticket - I will be MIA for this week and likely next week's casual nights...

On a seperate note this break is good for my "physical hand problems that I've been having" I expect to be back in top form for BAD II and future events!!!!!!

I will await post race chatter!!!
