One other thing that goes back a little to what Tiger had said about supporting the drivers in practice and stuff. If you do have the time to log on and drive around with the guys in the race, grab all the cars in the class, because it won't be all just one car on the track and they'll perform a little different on straights and corners. Just the other cars are what we're more likely to have to pass on the track so it would be better to practice against them.

I am looking at the Season Calendar, and the actual real world race time is the time on the 3rd column, the "World Time", right??

Since UTC is 4 hours ahead of EST, I might be able to participate some of the races!!

OMG I just downloaded the biggest time sucking sinkhole app for my iPhone ever... It's called PERISCOPE....

Basically it's a live streaming app where anyone from all over the world can live stream anything they want...

I'm just imagining the possibilities of being able to easily live stream practice sessions or project car first impressions... Or just showing off our rigs, dogs cats, beer fridges etc...

No idea fully how it works yet - but I just watch 8min of 5 knuckleheads in Africa playing poker...

This could be the new work time suck app for you!!!!

It's somehow linked to Twitter...
Stay tuned as I find out more how it works

This is only a suggestion as this is tarkus' club thereby giving him the right to veto this or change it as he pleases

Also note - the races in the listed classes below are 4 hours only and class cars are yet TBD for GT4 and TCN-1
One more note - TCN-1 are FWD cars so I don't think we want to race in that class
One last note - LMP3 is one car only using the Mazda LM55 so I'm assuming put that as our preference No.1 but let me know if that should be changed to GT4.
Really last note - The drivers on this list are drawn from the posts I've seen of interested drivers and likes to the posts I have put up regarding this series so if you see your name here but don't want it to be just say you'd rather not race in this and I'm sure someone will want to take that place.

Thank you for taking the lead EH TEAM- I've been sitting back waiting for structure...

I'm happy to represent spinning arrows in any way I can....

I would commit to help in any way I could up to and including drive... We all know that does is no favors tho...

But I would be willing to train with others to give rear view mirror practice and practice in passing etc...

Please add me to the team to help in a way TBD

I have a BADII plan in the mix... I'm happy to hold off if it would interfere or also modify it if it could help formalize our team / training

My only edit to this would be make us spinning arrows club racing, or spinning arrows racing. This is only because the club will get noticed by more and also people recognize us better this way as well. Also when we do spin out because it will happen it will be that much better for the commentators to talk about haha! Just my thoughts, whats the everyone else think?

I'm kinda thinking that too, the choice is up to tarkus, I'm just making suggestions.

it just so happens that the RX7 Touring Car was one of the 2 featured cars planned for BAD II......
Perhaps BAD II could be EPIC and a great training ground for the GT PLANET RACES!!!!!!!

I know it's unofficial and tentative, but I'd rather not be on the list. I don't feel I could represent the club at this level, but am flattered to even be on a list with those guys.

Just want you to know that I support everything you are doing to get this going. I think its fantastic and all the effort that goes into it is not going unnoticed.

I think that as much as we all would let another club member pass us if they have a faster car....
(Most of us *cough *cough *OB *cough)
we all feel like we don't want to let the club down... But then again we are ALL capable representatives of this club and if we wind up 4th or last... As long as we come together to put forth an effort - screw the outcome.....

So if someone wants to race... They could race is my vote.... If we've been given a chance, we owe it to the club to participate as best we can... and if we come in last we come in last...

I do think we should get a list of of people that WOULD race... And then we can narrow things down....

It's my opinion that anyone who wants to have a shot at this can have a shot at representing the club and they should have no shame in their alien/hybrid/human standing... It's just the more people we have that want to get on board the higher we can elevate the internal competition!!!

A coach gets more satisfaction than a player sometimes... But not in the players mind...
What role will we all play ?!?

The starter, the coach... The bench player... The cheerleader

Nah... No one wants to see OB in a skirt and Pom Poms...

Let's shift focus to step up rather than shy away from this regardless of ability or standing in the club

Ole
Nah... No one wants to see OB in a skirt and Pom Poms...
More than likely I'll just be in the background brooding over my deteriorating mental health.

Speaking of, I'm scheduled to see a shrink next Thursday night so I'll miss that night as well as the 9th (for reasons obvious to people who were there this last meet).

Focus on the constant of your own ability to rise up and remain consistent rather than be a slave to conjured expectations from outside of how distraught you must feel.
Pressure to understand the unexplainable is the fast lane to torture... Acceptance to a fluid human existence and openness to belief in a larger devine plan than we can fathom is peace.
No shrink can calm your mind and manage your heart more than you...
Own acceptance of the ripples life sends us in the pond we would rather remain calm...
One day again it will be calmer than today

I'm only seeing him because, to be honest, I've had an abrupt onset of death anxiety over the past three weeks that's screwing really badly with my mental condition. I'm going in to see if I can either get it out of my system, or figure out why it's happening and treat it.

Once that's fixed, I should go back to my usual, annoying-blocking self.

Edit: Rereading that gave me a much more profound meaning than the face value. I guess it's just that I'm not preparing myself for the acceleration of life after college.

We've all had to pull over and park...
Use that mad blocking ability to block out negative town... Once you get older there is Vodka... For now cope and realize life is the Nurburgring and not a 1/4 mile straight track... Hang in there

I ****ing love the Nürburgring.

I can never be sad around you lot, makes me glad that I was able to rejoin.

I applaud your ability to see and admit your own weaknesses, HOWEVER, I have seen you be fast. I know you have it in you to drive whatever that car is to it's edge, you just need the key to unlock it. The key being the setup to the car, which I have heard you say many times you're not too good at. So here's what I put forth to you: a challenge of keep up. On a track of your choice and a car of my choosing, which I will provide you with a setup that you're hopefully comfortable with. We'll do 5 laps all out and if you're within 1.5 seconds or ahead of me at the finish you definitely have what it takes to race on the big stage. You will start first and can take as much practice as you need.

You can still say you'd rather not race, but I want to show you how fast you can go.

Guys/drivers,

regarding the GTP Endurance, before we say who is good or not good enough to race in the series, I believe we better decide who can race in which race before we finalise the drivers list for each particular race.

There are many races coming up and they are going to take place at different time schedule and date.

We, each individual, should look at the schedule and regulation of each race first, find out which one you are comfortable/confident to participate AND fit with your schedule.

If so, then we should make a list/table of the participate(s) on each race.

Once we've the list/table make up, then we can finalise the drivers line-up for each race.

Sounds good???

Hey EH, I really feel honored to be part of your list. Thanks a lot for that!

However please don't forget/consider the following things:
Hi Tarkus,
In principle I'm interested in this kind of enduro races. On the other hand week-end racing could be a problem if it falls week-ends when my daughter is at home. She would be of course the highest prio. For instance, the upcoming event for April 4th/5th doesn't work...
Referring to the race schedule, only two dates could be an option for me to be in: June 27th/28th and August 22nd/23rd (for the July 25th/26th I'll be very probably on vacation...).
But this is the first point. The second is that even though I'm very interested to be part of the event, I'm asking myself if I've got the according skill for such a difficult kind of event. I'm 100% aware about the fact that the point isn't to just sit back and count peanuts...
Would I be able to endure such a pressure??? :nervous:
The session length shouldn't be a problem. The POINT should be, being efficient AND consistent the whole session length... And this is another story...

Hi guys!
I get day by day, more and more frustrated, as I notice all these interesting events or training sessions available when I usual sleep. I really, really, really wish I could take part to them!!! Pfffffff! Bull sh:censored:t time lag!!!!!!! :banghead: :guilty: :guilty: :guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

Of course not, but Mazdas' training sessions, EHs' and Oles' events (and much more) sound so attractive... I could for sure learn much more things if I could take part (and have of course lots of fun)... :(

To be honest, I feel a little lost regarding the organization aspect. On the other hand, I don't always understand what about you're speaking guys... Not easy at all to follow you by some discussions...
So an important request to you friends, regarding this event, could you use please clearer words/expressions?
Of course not like: "... I Tarzan, you Jane? You understand me?..." I think I'm not that much stupid...
No, seriously now, it really would help. Thanks in advance for understanding... 👍

As I said in a previous post, the time lag could be our friend...
I think, that the different time zones could be an advantage in our case. In fact, regarding the "24 hours" races and especially the respectively night time range: 6 am to 11 am CET vs. 1 am to 6 am EDT and vice versa... 💡

Look at this fine tool: http://www.worldtimebuddy.com/

But regarding your very king attentions EH... 👍
I know you have a plan for B.A.D. already, but I think it could help the drivers if we do seeding as a lap knockout race, but help everyone tune their cars so that we all know truly how fast each one of us is when the tunes are somewhat equalized.

You will start first and can take as much practice as you need.

... time lag should be MY OWN big enemy... :irked:

As you already know, I'm not able to setup a car. My actual driving skill and performances are only due to picking here and there available tunes and using them... They work generally, but are never really adapted for my own driving style...
At the Spa Enduro Race, Mphile was so kind  and gave me the settings that I 100% used (in other words I didn't change anything) for the race. I'll use the same settings for Suzuka... What a great setup!!!!

I can understand Mcinnis' reaction and I also know that he's a very fast guy, but a little help would really be welcome and regarding me and that F:censored:ing time lag, I really don't know how to solve that problem. As you know, after Casual Nights, I go directly to work and I'm sometimes totally done... :scared:
As Tjger already said to me,
You don't want to burn yourself out.
Of course not, but frustrating situation though...

Last point EH, sorry but I don't understand all these TCN-1, LM P3, GT4, etc... terms (I only follow F1, WTCC, Moto GP and sometimes Formula E...). So my request, could you please name the required or concerned cars, so I can pick or buy them and start with the training? :) 👍

Thanks in advance guys for your patience with me. As usual, I do my best for trying to adapt my knowledge, acting, saying, etc... to yours. It's not always that much easy, but I don't give up!...

Cheers, wish you all a very nice WE and CU here or on the track!
