I believe he has been suspended by the BBC & they have chosen not to renew his contract which expires in around a month, maybe less.

I wouldn't expect to be back at work any time soon if I punched a colleague.

Well, there goes Top Gear.

I do think Top Gear can be entertaining but I'd rather watch this guy.

**** Warning potentially satirical content & offensive language. Particularly to those who don't get that this is essentially a one man theatre piece done in the style of stand up comedy. ****

It's a while since I've watched this (i saw it live, years ago) but the guy is in the same building as me at the moment so I thought about it.

So I'm trying to throw together this '70 skyline
Is our only restriction for running it tonight the 422 and maybe like tires or something??
Or are we going with full event restrictions???

I can get one and wrench it for a few min but I haven't had time to fully dive into the event restrictions... Are we just doing 422 for now to get a feel for the car is that the jist?

Actually Ole I'm going to leave that one up to the team as it was a request, obviously. I'll set whatever the team wants.

good night of racing boys...

PERHAPS we need to dial casual night back a bit....... hahahaha

I don't know if the WHOLE night needs to be murder boost bumper cars...........

Anytime that EH Team's comments get ******** out TWICE... you know that it was ON LIKE DONKEY KONG....

ok even the fireball and vodka couldn't take the edge off for me...
so time for bed for Ole - that was a bit much for me.......

Hopefully we got all of our road rage out of our system tonight!!!!!

EH TEAM - get the details up for the '70GTR... that was a fun car and glad we got to try it..... Im interested.....

Gotta love those twist endings.

Last two races were brilliant.
The F3: Alien and humans combined to try to defeat Mazda, but failed.
Karts: Alien wiped out, leaving OB (me) to win the race

This is a repost for the purpose of finding the info contained in here faster as some of us will be needing it.

Hey guys, not sure how many of you are really interested in showing up for next weekend's GTP Endurance races, but I did manage to find the time schedule of everything.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/338058179/2015/03_SI6/EVENT SCHEDULE.pdf

I also found the list of cars allowed for participation, note that many classes do not allow the use of ABS so we'll need to be careful when driving those cars if we pick them.

I don't think we'll be allowed to participate in the race this weekend because all of the practices were run last weekend, but there are a bunch more races left in the season that we could try for, the next event after this weekend is a 4 hour at silverstone on April 25th, which I could make it for.

I was noticing that some of the teams that participated in Daytona are in different classes now, so we may not necessarily have to stick with a single class over the course of the season, meaning we can pick and choose what events we want to be in and then with enough experience maybe next year take a full run at one class. Here is the link to the entire set of threads for the series if you're interested in having a poke around.

Casual night.. great success!!

I agree with Olé. Had a blast, but lets get back to the core of casual night. Less boost and one make, more variety! /suggestion.

You fellas are all amazing, I'm glad to have fallen into this group.

I'd just like to add to what Mazda said a little more. If you are interested in running even just one of the races because you like the track then put your name in please. It does not have to be the same drivers throughout the season so we can look at the schedule in advance and say who can make what races and such. There's a lot of good guys in this club when it comes to driving so please look at post 8479 and look at the full calendar of races to see which ones you would be interested in and able to drive in. It is my understanding that we were approached to participate in the series by someone involved in organizing it, and I know there are some teams on gtplanet that have requested to participate and were not granted permission. It's a big chance to show off all the talent we've got here and I think we could do really well against these world class racers. We could potentially grow in members by participating, I know I'm sort of going on and hopefully I don't sound too annoying, but I'm really chomping at the bit to do this.

So yeah, look at the schedule, see what piques your interest and let tarkus or I know so we can get you in the race.

vrum vrum boys

Note: I'm willing to be everyone's setup and tune donkey if you don't have the time or have trouble tuning the car chosen for the race.

One other thing that goes back a little to what Tiger had said about supporting the drivers in practice and stuff. If you do have the time to log on and drive around with the guys in the race, grab all the cars in the class, because it won't be all just one car on the track and they'll perform a little different on straights and corners. Just the other cars are what we're more likely to have to pass on the track so it would be better to practice against them.

I agree 100%. One make races please w/o boost. We're driving like "swines" (sorry, don't know if this word is appropriate...?... :scared:) and me too inevitably. AND I don't like at all this way I'm driving... :irked:
I love one make races, 'cause it's the only possibility for me to compare my driving skill (growing or not...) with yours guys...
By "normal" races it's another story, 'cause tuning skill makes the difference and unfortunately... I still suck with tuning...

I loved the Skyline GTR race!!! 👍 I bought the car a few hours before the race and found an old GT5 tuning. It worked perfect!!!

But finally it was a great night again @tarkus1 and I had very nice battles with some of you guys! 👍

I really love to participate but it seems the race schedule is heavily conflicting against my work schedule, since I am working in retail thus taking weekend off is a big no-no for me.

but I would love to give full support to the team helping the drivers on car setup, track analysis and pit-stop strategy.

As long as I know which track and car is chosen, I will give it a full-throttle!!
