I reckon you guys are gonna catch me.Down to 1:23.904 on Brands Hatch
You better stop to push yourself,I reckon you guys are gonna catch me.
I'll have to keep working.
I should be able to crack into the 22.9's if everything clicks at once. I did a few 23.4's before I dropped that last tenth. The replay of my 23.3 doesn't look anywhere near as good as my first 23.4 looked. I've found some more speed since then but haven't put it all together in one run yet.
380km Mazda, 380km!You better stop to push yourself,
I'm dead tired
I sit on my seat over an hours380km Mazda, 380km!
It hasn't been easy but I've really enjoyed it. It was fortunate that when Manny messaged me about our lap times on day 1, it happened to be a combo that I enjoyed. That is why I kept going back.
Time trials can suck you in. Once you start doing good laps you want to put it all together & show your best time. While you're running laps to try to do that, you find some more time. Then the process repeats itself.
This has been great fun so far & I hope all our club members have been able to enjoy the challenge we're having & aren't feeling bored by reading about it.

I haven't been able to participate but do enjoy seeing what you guys are all doing.380km Mazda, 380km!

When it's evening/night for you guys, it's an overnighter for me in the UK. I can sometimes race overnight but not all the time. Sundays are less possible for me than other days a lot of the time. I might be ok to race occasionally but not too often.Hey guys, I really hate to have to do this but I need to plug my Sunday Night race league. Attendance hasn't been good lately so I decided to make an information and discussion post in the Clubs and Leagues area. I posted originally about 9am Tuesday Morning and I've been updating it quite a bit through the day. If you could go and have a look at it and let me know what you think I'd really appreciate it, I'd appreciate it even more if you could steer anyone you know looking for a league to my direction. I really love what I do on Sundays but the low recent attendance makes me want to pack it in.
I really love this club which is why I bring so much of my stuff to it to promote. If you can help me I'll be indebted to you, I just really need a boost right now.
Thanks Guys 👍
What are you talking about? It's been raining for ages!Due to the heat i think Tarkus should schedule some events in the desert (willow, laguna, maybe some offroading)
On coming this Sunday Eh team event+1 for @GTracerEHTeam 's league. Good racing. I struggle to keep up, but its fun and the format is very cool. Hope more of you guys can make it.
👍
The league runs 3 basic rules during competition:
Rule 1: No Track Cutting - The room settings do not include track penalties because they also prevent collisions. These same penalties also allow heavy cutting on some tracks or do not give a penalty fit to the amount of track cut (ex. Sarthe). The responsibility is put on the driver to keep 2 wheels on the track at all times ensuring that no more than half of his/her car is off the track at any given time. Penalties for cutting will be issued post-race at the discretion of the race organizer and can lead to banning of drivers from the league.
Rule 2: No Divebombing - Divebombing is a very serious offense and is not taken lightly, it is punishable on the first offense by being started in last place of the field on the immediate caution and having to complete a drive through penalty on the next time past the pits. Two offenses in one race will disqualify you and further offenses may result in a suspension or ban from the league.
If you are a driver without a microphone and you get divebombed and subsequently crashed press start and type CAUTION - DB. You will be allowed to retake your position and the incident will be investigated following the conclusion of the night's races. Note: you can be penalized for calling a divebomb that wasn't really a divebomb so be truly sure that you are making the right call and not being vindictive.
Rule 3: Passing Rules - To promote more passing, the car passing you has the same right to the corner as you do when it reaches your rear axle. The middle of the door is more common but in some cases is more difficult to achieve and the league is about good racing, not politics.Cautions are observed by this league in the full course variety only. The rules for them and what constitutes one are as follows:
A caution is to be observed on the entire race course when 2 or more cars are involved in a crash and are out of the driver's control. Cautions will not be thrown for single car incidents as those are the fault of that driver only and it is the responsibility of the crashing/spinning driver to ensure that they do not endanger other drivers when rejoining the track or moving their car out of the way.
A caution is to be lobbied by a driver involved in the incident to the organizer by saying what happened through the microphone chat or by typing CAUTION if you do not have a microphone. The organizer will decide whether to call a caution or not after this has happened. Cautions will be looked at following the completion of the night's races to ensure it was called legitimately. Penalties may be observed for calling an unnecessary caution.
The field is to then slow down to a speed chosen by the organizer, this speed MUST BE HELD CONSTANT to prevent everyone from ramming into each other from speeding up and slowing down.
As soon as the field is formed up single file the next sector line crossed, unless chosen otherwise by the organizer, will constitute the resuming of the race.
Procedural Notes: The leader controls the restart and no one is to push other cars leading up to the restart. The leader will accelerate to restart the race once they have crossed the chosen sector line.Drivers may form teams if they so choose, the guidelines are as follows:
Teams must use the same car for every driver
Teams must use the same colour for every driver
Teams must use different wheel colours for each driver
Teams will be able to compete for a team championship where only the first two drivers finishing the race from the team will have points count towards the championship.
A team championship will not be included officially until there are at least 3 teams enteredCar restrictions for every championship are to be followed from these rules:
Rule 1: You cannot change your car at any point during a running championship. This is a hard and fast rule, if you have issues with your car's performance you may request a BoP review to help keep the car competitive.
Rule 2: The specified BoP numbers must be used for your car in every race. The exception to this rule is if the organizer deems a car too fast or too slow you must raise or lower your car's weight or horsepower to the required number by the organizer. Not following BoP requirements will delay the race start until you have complied with the directions given and a penalty may be applied for being defiant to the ruling.
Rule 3: BoP assumptions, you are assumed to be putting on all performance parts available for your car and adding weight and lowering horsepower accordingly. It is your responsibility to ensure your car has these parts fitted before racing.
Rule 4: Aero Kits and Wings, these are strictly prohibited in all series unless an exception is made. Some cars cannot have these parts fitted to them therefore giving cars that can have them an advantage. Drivers entering a race with cars using aero kits or wings will be disqualified from the results.Points will be awarded as follows for each race of the season in the driver's championship:
1st - 20

STICKY115At the end of each season the idea is to have a race purely for bragging rights where there is currently just a break where usually nothing happens. In order to participate you must have completed at least one race during the season. The format would go as follows:
X No. of Laps race depending on lap length of the chosen track
3 segments during the race of decreasing lap numbers
Pitting is only permitted between segments
Car will be chosen outside of the one make filter with no tuning allowed whatsoever
The grid will be set back to front in this order:
Champion of most recent season
Race winners from most recent season with more wins placing those drivers further back in the grid
Drivers with the highest average points per event completed accumulated in the season will then fill the grid forward with Pole Position going to the driver scoring the lowest number of points per event completed.
Segments 1 and 2 would be considered complete at the start of the final sector of the track. The field would then slow down to a prescribed pace to allow positions further down to catch up before pitstops begin. The race would then resume after everyone has pitted that chooses to from the next sector that the field is formed up and ready for.
Really wish I could participate but I just couldn't commit to a specific time other than THursdays nights right now. I will point people in that direction.Hey guys, I really hate to have to do this but I need to plug my Sunday Night race league.
