I have plans on being there but in an unconventional car and my friend coltsjugg sounds like he will be there too.

I've just been looking at times, testing, finding out my pick is too slow and starting over. Don't worry I'm not missing this one.

Last week was my family's one and only big vacation, and we went to the Daytona speedway at one point. I'm getting all the pictures together to show you guys.

That sounds plausible & hilarious. However, I think even your droning on wouldn't stop Colts. It would probably, on the right day, encourage him to drown you out.


I have some of my best times when I'm in Belfast so it's awesome to hear Colt's voice sometimes & let it remind me of when I'm there. 👍

Last week was my family's one and only big vacation, and we went to the Daytona speedway at one point. I'm getting all the pictures together to show you guys.

Look forward to seeing some pics of the trip there. I try to get to that part of the country as much as I can. A close friend lives right there in Daytona Beach.
Anyway, speaking of vacations, mine are all over with (for the immediate future) so in a way it's good to be back. Now to try and catch up, oyy! where do I even start?

Well one thing I did want to mention. While I was gone I heard through the national news that the defense blimps that were floating above my town for the past 6 moths have gone. Evidently the tether broke and one multi-million dollar defense blimp went flying off into the next state. I mention this because @sgohsixthree has asked about these blimps before. Oh well, easy come, easy go as they say.

Still haven't gotten a car ready yet for the tour but I do have an idea of what I'll be driving. Of course I can't say now because that would throw all your plans into disarray and you'll all be scrambling to switch cars to match what I'll be bringing to the party.
Ok, ok, so I went a little overboard but I should still be ready in one way or another for the race. After all, I've never lost a race yet and don't intend to start now.
BTW Mexico was wonderful. Sunny and about 85 degrees F the whole time. Couldn't ask for better weather.

I think I'm in trouble. I ran the car I thought I would use on trial mountain since I know that track and the best I could do is 1.32 ouch!

They usually start a little late anyway so we'll run some practice races as well as a casual run or two. Basically play it by ear.
