Hey guys, sorry about the inactivity but I had a...personal issue turn up (I mentioned it last Thursday).

I want to go off topic a bit today and offer a track I made for criticism.
Here:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/resources/peaks-drop-circuit.2908/
Give it a shot and then tell me here or on the track page what you think! All honesty appreciated.

As for racing, I'll likely turn up for a few races.

Team Hello Kitty has once again assigned alcheng as the team driver for the upcoming SAC Japan World Tour.

Currently, intensive testing is in progress in some of the race locations.

THK has released two official photos which display the potential contenders they might use for the upcoming event.

1)Trial Mountain
2)Deep Forest
3)Midfield Raceway

the team started the test with 4 contenders:

1)NSX
2)MX-5 '07
3)RX-8
4)MX-5 '00

after 10 days of testing, the team has chosen the final 2 contenders, and will make the final decision after this weekend when the testing program is completed!

Stay tuned!!! :cheers::cheers:

updated:

first testing session @ Autumn Ring was completed.

As always, it is not easy to find the right balance at Autumn Ring since its layout includes slow corners and fast-sweeper.

THK will take a break tonight and continue the 2nd session tomorrow night.

best laptime is on the 1:13.high to 1:14.low and the team is targeting a laptime at 1:13.very-low to 1:12.xxx.

Stay tuned

Anything for this come Thursday night race, If not I will post something tomorrow

Bad news for me, I just twisted my right ankle, i can try to race but it is not guaranteed that i can race that much. But i can still host the lobby.

Oh no, hopefully it will get better soon.
You could always see how you get on with a DS3? Or map a throttle button on to your wheel?

How about a single manufacturer race? Something like Mazdas only, BMWs only or Lotus only? It could be at a pp where there are a few models to choose from, maybe at a circuit in the country of the manufacturer we use?

How about the lobby starts with a vote for PP on any one of us SAC members' tracks?
Can you change tracks ready for the next race without closing the lobby?
If not, it could be a problem. Opening a new room between races would mean everyone trying to join the lobby again at the same time which often causes network issues & glitches.

Also, wouldn't Mazda need to have the track saved beforehand?

I mean start with the CM track and them use regular tracks after. Like a spotlight.

Yeah, I got that.
The questions still stand though.
You can change from a CM track to a regular track. The issue is when you try to switch from a CM to another CM track.

Mazda will need to have the track but it's as easy as visiting the Community tab in-game.

so complicated......

Everything's on 20 Laps
:eek::eek::eek::eek:
That's a joke, right? I'm up for it but your injury might get a bit painful after 160 laps.
Unless you just mean the NASCAR race is 20 laps?

so complicated......
Maybe, but it's all resolved apart from this bit... vvvv

However:
I reckon, when/if we start to use user-created tracks, it should be pre-planned enough to give everyone a chance to learn the track first. Tracks are more fun when you know what kind of lines you're aiming for & seeing if you can hit them.
Doing a spotlight/showcase of tracks is unnecessary. If people are interested in trying a track, they can do so at any time through the community page. If a favourite track starts to emerge that multiple people are enjoying, then I would say we should maybe try it on a club night.

Just thoughts & ideas of course. Whatever you guys do is cool with me.
