So The Nation pulled out a win in the last 5 seconds of an hour long race? THat's impressive and had to be very stressful (in a good way of course).

So that at least means we're back to casual for next week and so have your teams prepared. Team Maple Syrup looks to upset the undefeated champions of the world A.K.A. Team Eagle but can they hold off the racing juggernaut that is Team Eagle? Stay tuned...

Track was very hard for me just played better tyre strategy then alex i believe

hey Gordon aka Alien, that moment was critical and there was no extra time for me to think too much, so I can only decide what to do base on what's going on at that moment.

It's true I could just stay open and keep my outside line and have a drag race with you at the last moment, however, at that moment, I know your tires are much fresher than mine, my entry speed on that corner is also much slower than yours, PLUS, you can carry a much higher speed than me throughout the corner, probably at least 10-15kph.

With you were just right behind me bumper-to-bumper, my instinct is to close the door aka block as much as I can before going to the straight while you can draft me a big time.

It's always a gamble, didn't pay off this time, but it was fun.

edit: even if you put me in the same scenario again.. I'll most likely still do the same thing except the spinning part... lol



I very much respect your consistent driving throughout the whole 60mins, on the other hand, I also blame myself for the two mistake I made that cost me about 10s.

But, it was a freaking fun and exciting race!!!

Breaking News:
Our sources here at NewsGT have discovered that Team Maple Syrup has been working on methods to dethrone Team Eagle from the Champion seat. At this time, we're not sure if these "methods" are legal and can report back later when additional information is found. However, going by past situations, it wouldn't surprise us to see Team Maple Syrup throw a little wrench in the works of Team Eagles fine tuned machine one way or the other. All we can say is this coming race is building suspense like no other with two racing powerhouses both trying to claim the prize.
Can Team Eagle remain undefeated and once again have bragging rights or will Team Maple Syrup dominate the race(s) and become one who's not to be taken lightly? Only time will tell.

Actually I believe the new name has been decided upon and since Victory now belongs to the north, the title now officially goes to The Crazy Canucks. While Team Baby Bird (formerly Team Eagle) gave it a good run and came within a car length of taking the Tsukuba race, it just wasn't enough. The top notch performance of The Crazy Canucks was too much for Team Baby Bird to handle for this week but with the aliens on Team Baby Bird working hard to improve their cars' performance, it won't be long before the title comes back to the other side of the border.
