8pm is perfect for me. You guys have a club ID, or a room host?

you can expect me on the CLK, while I still don't know if I will be able to attend on the 11th. I'm marrying this saturday, and going on vacations
Since there's no Calibra, and while I prefer the Astra, my CLK already has an excelent tune

Thanks, hope see you soon

Mazda, I think you should change the tire compound to "Racing Medium or lower" since the race require the drivers to use both compounds on different stints.

I can do that but Tarkus have to change too

I will put you on CLK for now until you change.

Most likely tarkus or mazda3 will be the host
And this Thursday night will be me

I'm aiming to be there after a few weeks of shoddy attendance on my part.

One really strange but enjoyable thing for me is still the social drinking side of SAC. Even though I've never met any of you & drinking with friends is something I do regularly in real life, there's something about this group that just feels like old friends getting together for a beer.
I even have a Thursday ritual of making sure I stock up the bar ready to last the night.
:cheers::cheers::cheers:
Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Also, @Lilium. You're welcome to come race with us and hopefully have a laid back time racing while making new friends. Aside from @alcheng not delivering pork BBQ to me on time, i think it's a pretty fun group and there's always a bunch of laughs to go along with the casual races. Please just make sure myself and Mazda are on your friends list. He will be hosting this week but typically I do the hosting.
Congrats on the wedding and hopefully we'l see you on the track soon.

did some test on the DTM event last night, @ Roma and Red Bull Ring

the laptimes are ok, 1:08.0xx and 1:30.low respectively.

not ideal, I hope to get another 0.7s-1.0s at least.

The tire-wears seems pretty easy on RM so far, and since the race requires the use of RH, pit strategy probably plays an important role during the race. 👍👍👍

sorry guys, can't race tonight, my car got hit-n-run at the parking lot, waiting for police at the moment.

car is not drivable, thus have to wait for the police before i can tow it.... and it's been 3 hrs at the spot..... :(
I hope you get it sorted out ok.

Sorry guys, just something happen last night.

Get things ready and around 8:30 pm and wife call me to pick her up and family issue (FIGHT ROUND 1)
Man always lost
I won every race. I was more dominating even than tarkus normally is.
No matter what pp it was, what kind of cars or how drunk and tired I was. Nobody came even close to my pace.
The meeting ran for 5 hours & included 24 races. I even won in the karts & FGT races.
Strangely, there were no oval races last night though.

Oh, I even won every track vote too!

I just wish there had been anybody else in the room to see it. :D

Edit:
When man ready to marry, they have to learn say SORRY no matter what
Remember to use the Edit button Mazda. 👍
(Instead of double posts)

So sorry to hear this Alex. Hope things get worked out soon.

thanks guys, someone did a hit-n-run on my car last night at my work-parking-lot.....

went to my car last night after closing the store, 8pm, when I approach it, a group of people ask me, "is this your car?"

"yes..."

"someone hit your car and left, look."

Luckily, the group of people has all the plate#, make and colour of that car remembered and gave me all the information.

they even give me their names and phone number in case the police or insurance have to contact them.

thus I reported to the insurance and police right away.

police will definitely chase down that chinese lady who drives that black mercedes GLK..

drop off the car at the body shop this morning, got a rental, Audi A3, not bad

it's unfortunate, my car is always in good shape, I park far from the crowd, but many people race across the parking lot to get to the exit lane thus bad things happen...

and fortunately, someone saw that happened, thus I have all the information to help me get out of the trouble, otherwise I will have to pay the whole damage myself.

lastly, I hope the police will chase down that driver and gives her penalty...

Hopefully this all works out for you but unfortunately its just more crap that you'll have to deal with. On the plus side, any chance they left behind some fresh BBQ pork?

dropped the car to the bodyshop last Fri morning, have to wait til tomorrow for the insurance to send the adjuster since today is the Civic Holiday... (but I am working today... LOL)

anyway, got a rental, hopefully the repair process will be quick, it's summer now and it's bad to not able to drive the summer car...

and to your "plus side" question, nope, they didn't leave any BBQ pork behind.... but a fortune cookie that have the plate#, colour and the make of her car printed on the little "fortune note".... :D:D:D

Well having a fortune cookie with that info is soooooo much better. Now the only problem is you'll be driving rental cars at the next casual race.
