THat's just amazing. Had that finish line been another 3" further away, I drop to 2nd. Great race for all though.

4 more days for our Touring Cars Battle,

No. I'll start testing the A4 today.
Which cars are available for this Thursday? You know that my first choice would be the BMW but, choice 2 would be the Merc. Is there a list of which cars have been chosen already?
The X button makes it go forwards, that's probably as far as my testing will go.No. I'll start testing the A4 today.
Possibly, I can't be fully certain yet. At least I know I have the car in the garage.so.... that means we are going to see you on this thursday night, right??
Thanks for the reply. One question though, the rules state Race Mediums but, it also says Compound change required. So, how does that work?almost, been sick since Friday but getting better now, able to finally test on Apricot Hill last night, laptime is "ok", not very happy yet.

I think we are not restricted on choosing the car thus we can have 2 drivers driving the same car, which means you are free to choose whatever the car you like 👍
So far... this is what I've known:
BMW M3:
Alex
Audi A4:
Mallet
Audi TT:
Gordon
Opel:
Manny
Mercedes CLK:
Mazda
Spaceship with Time-shift turbo:
tarkus1 (exclusive)
Finally I got a chance to run on Apricot Hill, which mean I've run tests on all 5 tracks.
Some I found it's quite easy to adapt and get the rhythm but some I have a huge amount of understeer to deal with
Tires wear is quite simple overall with most of the track except Apricot Hill does wear out the front right pretty badly, and it's quite difficult to find the right balance on the chassis.
Laptime so far:
G.V. : 1:49.low
R.B.R. : 1:30.mid
N. GP/F : 1:58.mid
Roma: 1:07.mid
A.Hill : 1:18.1xx

So, We all have to start on RM? And we have to change to RH? Can we not start on RH and switch to RM at pit stop? For the "tires compound change", that means you have to switch to a different tire compound during a pit stop.
example:
if you start the race with RM, then you will have to switch to RH during the pit stop, or vice versa if you start with RH, then you can switch to RM.

Yes. That.I have a feeling you didn't read the whole sentence....
Yes. That.
Stock, you've probably got the idea by now but to phrase it another way:
A tyre change is mandatory, so more than one different compound must be used within the race.
The lobby will be set so that all tyres must be Racing Medium or "worse". Which means that Racing Soft are the only grade prohibited.
As a result, the most obvious choice is to run part of the race on Racing Hards & the rest of the race on Racing Mediums. This can be done in either order, as you prefer.
That was a long-winded way of saying something which you'd probably already worked out but just in case it helps. 👍
I think you explained it more concisely & efficiently than I did. I just felt like joining in.it's always a good/better idea to leave the English part to the Englishman...

I should at least check the top speed on each track. That will count as a bit of practice too.did another test on Apricot Hill and Grand Valley last night....
finally found a decent setup for A.Hill, smooth and patient is the key...
Hopefully can have some more testing done tonight and tomorrow....

The tricky part is remembering to look at what's happening when you get to the end of the straight. Not so easy when you use the straight as your drink break.someone told me the best tool to test the top speed is the "X" button on the controller. 👍

It does look a bit like that, yeah.
You mean like this?
I've just loaded the game up. Obviously with the time difference, you might correctly guess that it's the middle of the night here. I'm just waiting for a (not bbq pork) delivery (gyros).Hopefully can have some more testing done tonight and tomorrow....
