Sorry if I missed you.
Thanks for catching it along with the BOSS.

One question for Team Honda do you know which car your driving or will it be the Base Models?
No probs :-)

So the pit strategy has changed for the 28th?

Not necessarily. You're going to decide the pit strategy for yourself.
Some drivers may choose to run harder tires and stay out longer.
Some drivers may choose to run softer tires and make short stops.

Fuel will also play a part. Drivers must know how much and when.

Grid position will play a role and the overall pace of the race.

TIP: Since your car already has RH when you purchased it. Set up your own online room and run a trial race.
Set the laps for 30. Then switch tires and run the 30 again. Now compare times/fuel/tire wear.

TIP 2: Take the 60 laps and divide it up into how many stops you want to take.

For instance. Three stops would be 13,26,39. That would make 13 laps per stint. So your pit widows would be
12-14, 25-27, and 38-40. Traffic playing a role.

The are a numerous possibilities and scenarios. You as the driver need to be quick in your decisions and disciplined enough to follow through with them. You will spend a lot of your time along with driving, trying to watch the other drivers. When to hold back and when to make your move.

The Honda HSV-10s are fast and deadly. The Lexus is a conservative snake to watch out for. The Nissians well, don't underestimate them. In the right hands.....they could take it all.

You have chosen your weapon wisely. Now you must know when to use it.

Gentlemen this race will be about planning and quick thinking.
So plan ahead. What you intend to accomplish at the start, middle of the race, and the final stint.
Quick thinking will be about changing your 'plan ahead plan' because of grid position, traffic, and your car's overall health. ie. Horsepower loss due to oil wear..

This is an Official Announcement Sheet from your Spinning Arrows Club Management Team.
Always striving for the best

Print this out and let's put on a show for the fans.

what?? i am supposedly driving for Nissan...!!!:confused:

requesting a 2nd Nissan Team...

^^^ you are on the bubble.
If my post reading timing is correct. Team Nissian was filled before you made a decision.
mazda was trying to bring you in, but....

last week gordonnation was contemplating moving to Honda.
Sooo I unless I missed something. Which I did with FergusMik. You could be.....

I may have to come up with a deadline for entries.

Hang in there.

check 1st post on page 51, i added my name under mazda, which is the 1st post after you post up the drivers list.. :)

Ok now read further down.
I ask are you interested in joining Team Lexus?

i thought it was firmed after i put my name down for nissan cos i did that asap i saw the list.

since i've been driving GTR since GT5 and has spent months to setup the chassis...

i am going to do some testing tmr night.. if drivng for Lexus, i have to purchase it first and briefly test it thus i can tell the potential of getting a good result with it ... :)

I do have a HSV also but i prefer GTR between the two...

I meant originally there were 2 pit stops mandatory, now only 1. I was testing based on 2. Is this for sure now?

I should have and will change it.
The minimum stops required is 1. It is possible to run with one stop.
You would need to have a team mate who is willing to drag/draft for you the entire race.

 Hey Team Today I will share with you a short, but fun Race we had a couple of casual nights ago with the Club. The most interesting part of the video is that at the end I know why our good friend TJGER calls him self "TIGER" lol

ENJOY

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
That is what's called... S.L.M. Short Lived Memory.

The meal was tasty though.
So watch that point on the track. I could be hiding there....again. :mischievous:

Thanks.
I work for you guys. That's my job.
Sometimes I get it right, sometimes it makes no sense.

Thanks to all who show up still trying to figure out the no sense.

ADDED: Benny44, are you going to run with us August 28th?

I would like to, but my schedule doesn't always allow for it and I don't want to take up a spot I may not even be there for. If there are empty spots closer to race day, I may take one, or even be an alternate in case someone else can't go.

So, for casual night tomorrow what tires is everybody using? And is there a restriction on tire type/car type? There are 1 or 2 race cars I would like to use

For casual night unless it's a car/track/make/pp limited race - you can show off whatever car you want!!!
If you can detune a Bugatti to 470pp you can run it in a 470pp race...
Race car
Street car
Any tires
Any color (green is somewhat spoken for)
Any configuration is typically fine...
We've seen station wagons, bugs and trucks in 600pp races - anything goes

As much respect is given for trying a wild ride as is winning....

Typically we don't run NOS

But casual nights are for people to care less about winning the actual race but trying out or showing off a fun new car/tune they have been working on and seeing if it can competitively hold a respectable line as to not be "that guy".

Our main events and grande events are where you need to be a bit more focused and a few (to a lot) more rules - causal night is as much about responsible "drinking and driving" as anything...

With as buzzed as some of us get - no one would notice what tires you are running anyway!!!

Why do I have a feeling that on OLE's comment "ANY COLOR (GREEN IS SOMEWHAT SPOKEN FOR) is for me?! Let me have a look at my garage.......

Wait Let me keep looking!...

HOLD ON!....

Just Give it some time!....

As you guys can see I just don't have GREEN CARS!!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Don't get manny started.
There's talk about a Holiday DVD coming in Decemeber

Title of the DVD. "All shades of Green'
It will have a bonus DVD containing the Spinning Arrow's Greatest Hits Moments.

did the 1st two hours outing with Lexus last night, the initial feeling is positive, pace is still a bit off from the GTR but the setup work is not done yet.

2nd testing will be Thursday night @ Suzuka.
