Alright gentlemen.
In observance of Labor Day, the Grand Event planned for Aug 28th has been postponed.
Some of you are planning on starting your holiday a day early.
There is no date set and there is no Spinning Arrows Club get together planned for Aug 28th.

Awww! I requested to have the 28th OFF!!! I hope we can get a date so hopefully I can ask for another day OFF cause if NOT i guess I will miss the GT500 event!

Well even though I've removed myself from SAC mgmt. it seems that the drama never stops around here. It seems that Tjger has taken it upon himself to cancel a race series without checking with the Club owner. This is just another instance of Tjger getting pissy about anyone changing anything that he has put together. Even though I no longer receive e-mails from the Private message side of GTP I have been informed of what has been said and I'll say that if you don't like suggestions maybe you should start your own Spinning Arrows Club. Some of what you posted in response to Tarkus's questions/requests is just down right assinine and you know it. Take a breath and realize that your not the only person involved. Next time you have the need to respond to a post, maybe you should sleep on the response so that you don't come off as a loon who takes everything off the deep end. This wasn't meant to be harsh but around here it's Tjgers way or the highway it seems. This is not something that I wanted to respond to on the public forums but since I'm not included on the Private side this is my only option. Stock.

Hey Team! I am sure there is an explanation about all of this... If any one has the FINAL saying here is TARKUS! He is the person who put this Club together and the one person that can let us know what is going on.I Hope we can solve the "PROBLEMS" (If there is any)

This shouldn't be anything we cant overcome.
One of the tricky things about getting a group of anything over 4-5 together is that there are a lot of "cooks in the kitchen..." I get it....
I don't know anything of the situation that's been mentioned... so I'm just speaking broadly and high level....
but yes, perhaps, so there is less margin for our vodka to do our talking for us... We should consider, based on the size we've grown to, to try to get a bit of structure...
I think we all enjoy the come and go mentality and flexibility
I think we all enjoy being able to have input on events and races
I think we all enjoy to a point having event ideas created for us
I think we all enjoy that we do this SO WE DON'T HAVE TO DO one of the more serious intense clubs...
I think some people enjoy casual stuff more than main events and vice versa...
we offer a very specific group... a cool don't take it so serious group....
having said that - perhaps we need a bit more CLUB DIRECTION so we don't have to focus on BEING serious... The functionality of the club or an event calendar or rules of how we run or who we let participate... that stuff is set and there are things that DONT change...
we cater to most - but we cant please everyone... this has always been come and go when you want... I have chosen to not participate in some casual things - cause I like the longer races better.... I don't try to CHANGE the group to be more of what I like... but having said that we kinda need to make sure everyones expecations are set as to remembering what we're all about
I would be willing to, and I'm sure others would be willing to create an event calendar that doesn't change. We get that people are busy and cant always make an event, but we also need to respect that some people make arrangements well in advance and take days off work, or adjust sleep schedules so they can race till 3am.
This isn't our lives, and missing an event isn't going to kill anyone...
but this has become a priority to many of us and people make plans and practice and I think its really cool that we all try to work to keep us a fun little group....
having said that
if there are problems between a few people we need to sort through some things obviously so that we can enjoy things and not have more widespread problems...
but to have a couple butt heads over differences of opinion - that's not fun for anyone...
lets put on our big boy pants, ill buy the next round...
what seems to be the problem - lets air it out so we can decide the best course of action.....

Well said, Ole! I'm new to the group, but in the few races I've done I had an awesome time, the best I've had on GT6. As another suggestion, maybe PM is the best way to go for personal differences. That being said, I have no problem with anyone -"girls guys just wanna have fun". I have enough drama where I work, I just want to kick back, have someone tell me what type of vehicle to jump into, and race and laugh at the banter. Just my two cents, hope no one takes offense at the new guy making a suggestion.

ok, let me start off by saying that for those that made plans for the event later this month, that will NOT change! the main event that Tjger has put together will remain as it always has. I know Tjger has put lots of time into these events as well as the casual nights.
There have been some differences come up but I think Ole hit a few nails right on the head. One thing is that when you have so many people come together literally from all over the world, not everyone is going to agree. One thing I want to make sure this group knows is that we are open to suggestions as long as it stay within the realm of what we are. And that is casual races with some carefully planned events once a month.
Tjger, I don't know why you seem to have taken offense to anything anyone stated. what I was saying to you in the MGMT forum is simply suggestions for the group and as you know, I was voted down on something and I will abide by that. I am not here to rule with a my way or no way mentality. I want to listen to what the group says and when I bring those ideas to the management team, I expect them to be listened to without any drama or fuss. They are simply suggestions. if you don't agree then we can discuss it logically and it may be that I'm simply wrong and would and have accepted that. After all, I'm married so I except being wrong all the time! But that's another story...
We have a great thing going and not everyone is going to agree on everything so lets continue with what we've been doing with our casual races tomorrow and I'll work out any other issues in a PM. Also, if anyone has any suggestions, please don't hesitate to send them to me and i'll put them together and run it by the mgmt. team and see what we come up with.
Lets please make my post the end of this drama right here, right now. Just also know that my door at S.A.C. HQ is always open so to speak. That last sentence was just fun to write...

ok so you may read and heard about all the drama that's been going on lately...
normally I'm not a huge fan of drama......
In fact usually I run the other way...

no no boys... we were talking about OLE!!!
and my slight "lapse of judgment" the other night...
Was at a Nissan promotional event... turns out Kaz was there and some other expensive suits... I tried to give some constructional advice about the course editor and some other thoughts for my vodka themed livery... he kinda blew me off... possible language barrier... possibly not quite caught up to where I was in my drink count... something about calling him a blankety blank blank blank and that he could take his course editor and shove in his whatever...
lets let the past be the past... I really don't wanna talk about it...... if that makes sense......
long story short... Nissan decided to side with their "more experienced" relationship...

I get it
this is more of a hobby for me anyway...
but here is what I'm left with... a red goofy lookin space ship car...

this is apparently my ride for the 28th...

I have FINALLY come to an AGREEMENT With TEAM LEXUS!!
After going on with them for a good two weeks we finally came to an agreement and NOT just that! PETRONAS TOM'S step in and decided to sponsor me!! I have never been so GLAD to be part of a TEAM and what made me SIGN the agreement RIGHT AWAY is that the car has GREEN! It was a NO-BRAINER!
Because I have been sponsor by PETRONAS they took care of everything so I can be part of the GT500 so It didn't cost me a single Credit to SIGN UP!
At SUZUKA CIRCUIT
So the decision is FINAL! I will be racing for LEXUS and PETRONAS will be my SPONSOR for the race... I will be Number 36 and it has GREEN! Great day for me guys.
