I have FINALLY come to an AGREEMENT With TEAM LEXUS!!

View attachment 204066
After going on with them for a good two weeks we finally came to an agreement and NOT just that! PETRONAS TOM'S step in and decided to sponsor me!! I have never been so GLAD to be part of a TEAM and what made me SIGN the agreement RIGHT AWAY is that the car has GREEN! It was a NO-BRAINER!

View attachment 204072 View attachment 204073 View attachment 204074

Because I have been sponsor by PETRONAS they took care of everything so I can be part of the GT500 so It didn't cost me a single Credit to SIGN UP!

At SUZUKA CIRCUIT

As another new person to the group, I think this club is awesome! Great group of racers, friendly, polite and they make everyone feel welcome.
The format is great too, well organized and at the same time not overly serious.

I also love the enthusiasm with regards to videos and pictures and general good natured banter, both during the races and here on gtp.

Just my 2 cents :)

That's great to hear Milk. Oops, my bad. Sorry bout that Mik.
On a serious note, it really is good to have you say that especially after the recent drama. Hopefully its all in our rear view mirrors now and we can get back to what SAC is all about: Racing and having fun.

Also, word on the street now is that Captrock will be making an appearance tonight. For you newer racers, he was one of the original SAC members so lets give him a nice welcome back tonight but also feel free to give him lots of crap for not showing up for such a long time. I just hope he doesn't take it out on me in the office Friday morning.

I totally agree with Milk, I have no idea what the drama was about & I'm sure I don't need to know but I had a great time racing you guys last week.
After tonight I'll miss at least 1 week, very probably 2 weeks. If the GT500 event has been postponed then I might still be able to keep my place with team Honda. If so, I'll be in the base model HSV, chrome purple #37. I used this car for the new seasonal this morning at Laguna Seca. 1:19.7xx if I remember correctly so that's the car for me.

Sorry to say for your sake but the final word is that the grand event will proceed as planned. Of course this is barring some unforeseen circumstances such as an alien invasion or I come down with a bad case of the sniffles. Not sure which would be worse but lets hope neither happens and the race goes as planned as if yesterday didn't happen. Sure wish you could make it though.

Poor Mik, see what Ben started!

I'm still not 100% certain that I won't be there but as I said the other day, if anybody wants my spot & can be more certain of their entry then I reckon they should take my place.

Sounds like a rivalry is starting.
Hey Mazda, you should have heard what Alex was saying about you the other day.

in both cases, it wasn't pretty lol

tarkus1.... do you know Mazda is always having his eyes set on your butt..????

Just to let you know that if you do forfeit your spot and it seems nothing is left and you finally decide you CAN make it. Don't give up, let me know and i'll take care of it and get you in - and NOOOOOO, nobody is getting bumped. I have my ways - Mwa-ha-ha (that's Tarkus' sinister laugh).

Ah, the waiting. It's after 10pm here & still almost 3 hours to go. Time for anticipation & plenty of hype. Even though it's a casual night BBC3 have been showing the build up for an hour now. M.Mallet Jr will be at the wheel for team Bridge again tonight & will be sponsored by Strongbow (& possibly by cheap brandy & Coke).

The day before payday and no money for beer :(. S_Bridge, do you ever have Fullers beer? It is my favorite, especially the honey and the London Pride :-).

Just Strongbow, Guiness & cheap spirits. The good spirits don't last too long around here. I'll mix you a cocktail.

Edit: Sorry I missed the word "ever", yeah occasionally but I'm in the north, we have really good northern ales. The London stuff isn't generally as good.

Well, compared to our beer, Fuller's tastes exceptional to me. But I don't have distinguished taste either:). Can't wait for tonight. I believe my brother will try to join us tonight. I will do my best to race 'gentlemanly' around him, but it is going to be hard. Once he got old enough to be faster than me, I usually just cheated:D. None of that tonight I guess, I'll have to beat him with skill:eek:

Yeah Fullers is actually alright, in fact all over England & Scotland they make good ale.

Please note that a red (Formula Red to be precise) HSV, wearing badge #12 has already been spoken for. hahaaa ;-)

Very much looking forward to the race guys!

Simon, if you can stick a pic of a pit-babe at the back of your car.. thus I can stick tight on your HSV...

wait... are you saying you are sexy...? or sexier than tarkus1..???
