apparently, the magazine is being "restructured", not cancelled. Misnblu's scepticism inspired me to look back. There's a little update--don't kno9w when it was made--that says this:

UPDATE: We've gotten word that Truck Trend has also been canned. According to our commentators on the inside of Truck Trend, the mag hasn't been cancelled -- it's being "restructured."

So it looks to me like the ol' media was jumping the gun a little bit. I hope they got all the page views they were looking for. False information FTL, but hey, at least we know it's not cancelled proper.

An Evo doesn't seem all the compact to me, as a pretty large family sedan.

Well I got a notice in the mail that the SportCompact subsription I have is being forwarded to Modified Magazine because the March 2009 issue will be the last.
Hmmm, makes me wonder and if this is the case, too bad.
I did hit up their website and copied their Tech articles for future reference, all put in to pdf files for later reading and studying.
Let's hope and see if SCC continues on.
