Super Sports Sedan Shootout
Each company is aloud only one car in each category. In the event a company has two cars that fit into the same category the most expensive one will be chosen. Only cars found in the NEW car showroom will be used unless otherwise noted. I define a sedan as a car with 4 doors and a conventional trunk. No wagons or hatches in this comparo. Cars will be grouped by price. Any drive train is allowed. The cars will be judged with the cars in there group, and then against all of the cars in the test. Each car will be award points for the place it finishes in the test. The lower the points the better. (1st place = 1 point). There are 5 tests that count for points. Price, Power/Weight, 0-400m, 0-1000m, Top Speed, 3 Laps around Trial Mountain (B-Spec level 3). My comments have no influence on the final score. I will then pick my winner, the winner may not have the best score.

You cant go wrong with the WRX or the Evo. Tho the WRX is surprisingly much quicker then the Evo in each test. The G35 is pretty nimble despite its weight. The IS200 is the bargin in this group. It was the 2nd Cheapist and was a strong contender for the much more expensive G35. The rest of the pack was pretty uninspiring. Though with alot fo money the accord may be able to keep up with the G35. If you have the money get either the WRX or the Evo, but if money is tight get IS200 it is very impressive for the price.

03 Mazda 6 -- Takes forever for the RMPs to climb in 3-4-5.
02 Accord Euro R -- Very rev happy, but runs out of breath in 4-5-6.
98 Lexus IS200 -- Great engine, pulls hard even over 125mph. Outruns the Honda by almost a second on the road course!
03 Infiniti G35 Sedan -- Awsome low end power, so-so middle and top.
00 Citroen Xantia 3.0i V6 Exclusive -- Plain old slow.

FAST! Doesnt give up until the needle hits the rev limiter at nearly 170mph!
04 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Spec-C -- With nearly identical HP, Weight and Power/weight I am amazed the WRX is a Full 1/2 second faster in the 400m and road course.
