Weekly round of fan art for all the hot dogs around here:

The penultimate race of season 2 starts in 30m so give your Mazda a wash and change the oil as we get ready to race.

Well, Season 2 Comes to an end for the MX5Cup, after 20 Rounds we have our final top 3. Well done to everyone who participated it was great fun.

1 Tibbs #24
2 Obelisk #18
3. Wisy #35

So we now take a short break and come back in the new year with some possible changes to cars and regulations to make racing even closer. . Season 3 will start once the Copen Cup has finished so we can align the tracks next year to make testing easier each week for everyone. Remember we still have two leagues currently running, if you want to get involved in Spec Racing. Last but not least Happy Holidays To all, see you in the new year, thanks for making this crazy dream work.

Update for Non-Discord Members ------> tinyurl.com/srcgt7 What are your thoughts on running the NR-A (ND) '22 the new track-ready version of the car, all we would need to do is add the Height Adjustable Sports Suspension and some Sports Pads and a Set of Pristine Sports Hard Tyres.

Roadster NR-A (ND) '22
Power 130BHP
Weight 1,010 KG
Height Adjustable Sports Suspension
Sports Pads
Sports Hard Tyres
Front & Back Downforce
This car is track ready with bucket seats but it is also more easily available to purchase, no UCD anymore, it will be faster but also less scary to drive in places. Feel free to discuss this in Discord or here.

Did some testing the NR-A (ND) '22 stock as stated above does the 0.25 miles in 16.17 0.62 miles in 29.69 the Eunos Roadster does it in 16.89 & 30.88 (edited)

it's faster by just under a second then Also if we add all the sports parts and a two-way diff it adds 10bhp some more noise and a spicy car, this then does 0.25 miles in 15.79 0.62 miles in 28.98

I would be intrigued by trying NR-A Roadster instead for next season, I think that's a good idea. I feel then it may give other people with slightly different driving styles a chance to feel more comfortable perhaps.
At some point I'll set that car up and give it a go, and see how it feels compared to our current car, and how the lap times compare etc.

@brands hatch indy

NA -58.030
NR-A spec 57.285

I reckon the NR-A is about 1s faster in the hands of our top drivers

This is with:

Sports exhaust
Two Way Diff
Height Adjustable Sports Suspension
Sports Pads
Power Limit Set to 98%
Front and Rear Downforce
Any Racing Wheels

Everything else stock.

Updated the livery to include some of the old decals, I think keeping it the same will be better

I couldn't join last nights chat, so it may have already been discussed, but perhaps we could offer a point or two for pole position as well?

How would the reverse grids work, would we qualify for race one, and then race two would be reverse grid of how race one ended?

That's correct, worked well in leagues I have run before, it stops the same people winning and gives them a chalange.

16 inch rim diameter is standard for the 2022, 15 inch is stated in the regulations. Is 15 inch what you want us to run?

@coxbox can you add me to simleague for this championship please, door number 4 if its available please.
I may not be able to do every single race of the MX5 & Copen cup, but i will try!

it is another championship for Tibbs, I thank everyone who joined this season and look forward to seeing you in season 4.
