Race Day Alert

Wowza, the day has come where we introduce Endurance racing to the Tuesday night portion of SRM . This has been in the works for some time, and tonight we roll it out to you in great fashion 👍. Gt3 & Gt4 Battle it out at one of the most demanding tracks in the game, BATHURST !!! Up the mountain and down the mountain for 30 laps of .

Let's all show a bit of patience tonight gang, it's a long race, and there is no way a chance of Winning this baby in turn one or the first lap for that matter.

Who hast the best pit strategy, who runs on softs/med/hard tires, and when do you have enough fuel , so much can change, and so much will!

Chat rooms will be divided into 2 rooms- gt4 in one room, and gt3 in the other.
Mphile77- will have gt4 chat
Mcinnis-will have the gt3 chat

Find your proper spot and file in when chats open please, thanks in advance!

The room will open at 8pm est instead of 7:30 pm est. once open you have an hr to qualify then 5 min warmup, then we go! Be ready, be on time, be prepared!

I look forward to seeing everyone tonight, and let's have fun with this! This will be a new thing we will do from here on out, we run a three week series, then hold a one night endurance race, then back to a 3 week series

You will have to get your stuff together quickly because tonight is the event, but you should be able to get prepared in less than an hr. Remember no Ginetta cars for the gt4 class, they have been banned for this event!

Also, not to steal any thunder for the Ginetta Junior series, but this will follow it in April. Full specs should be posted tomorrow, assuming my computer is behaving.

I would like everyone know that Mcinnis doesn't take enough credit for what he does here at SRM! My man does our logos, spread sheets, plans events, and created our website! Then on top of it all he created this video, and he also created the music for it as well, I mean come man, what can't you do we all are grateful for what you do

I've been doing F1 for the last little while, so getting into a GT3 was a little bit like a motorcycle guy getting into a Civic or something..... it felt like I was in slow motion the whole time lol

schmiggz that battle at the end made my whole race man, I love trying to get something out at the end. good fighting (although that side-smack in the wall up the mountain was... interesting lmao)

and for some reason I had some kinda poltergeist who didn't want to let me in the pits all night.... it would push me off to the right and I had to go full lock to the left just to try and get in there. But boomer---- that frikkin sucks.... if he wasn't held in the pits like that he'd easily be 1 or 2. (waiting impatiently for GT:Sport! - PCARS bugs are so bad)

anyhow I can't lie, I had lots of fun last night. cheers boys-

Thanks man! I have a lot of fun doing stuff like that and glad that I can contribute and make us standout from other clubs. Hopefully wveryone enjoys it as much as I do. And Hopefully more guys will post up their own pics and videos and other cool stuff.

That was sure fun last night, Holy Poo poo ka ka, I won....even after a critical mistake of not changing tires in my first PS and having to pit again the next lap. I had planned on running mediums with one stop, but changed my mind in the warm up, good thing. I ran softs all race with two scheduled PS which turned into three after my bung up. I took a chance and put a whole new tune in my Caddy during qualy, the numbers were ridiculous, but that car was glued, even with the tires wearing. I turned my trans ratio all the way up too, huge difference on the straightaways, zoom. Consistency and a ton of stupid luck won that race. Great job everyone.

I also can't stress enough how much I enjoy the multi-class setup, there was almost always someone to mix it up with. Not being able to pass up and down the hill was a great test of patience. All the GT4 drivers were super accommodating to me whenever I came up on one. I wish I saved that replay to watch the 4 class Race
