....And this is the stuff we need to hear, thanks man 👍. This helps race organizers do their job a bit easierHahah I'll bite. Last time I did the ring was in GT4. Not a huge fan but wouldn't sit out the race if we picked it. My only ask would be a forgiving car because there is no way I'll memorize the course.
I agree with Icapoop... a lower powered car would help the guys who don't know the track. The Ring and the Schlieffe are two different beasties, I could care less about the Nurburgring but love the Nordschlieffe, that's my go to track for any testing. Me and Aero race there a lot, although I am always waiting for him to catch up.
This might be a good time to have two totally different classes, one for the brave and one for the meek.just thinking out loud. I'm in no matter what happens.

I suppose suggesting TC3 vs V8 Supercars is out the door?
LMP1 vs LMP3? Although i think we're in LMP3 right now.
250cc Go Karts vs 125cc Go Karts? Yeah right.
Well i guess i will be the dark cloud..again...jeeezuz. The Ring is for crazy people, lol and lemans is for people who like to drink in the straights...i CAN prove that lol. Anyways, as usual, i will complain but i will still show up and whoop you boys as usual! LeMans or The Ring... either way im in
The ring has a fantastic straight! Think of it this way, after all the work you put in through the green hell, you hit that straight and a earn a well deserved drink

Have fun guys! See you wanks soon enough!RACE DAY ALERT
Seeing as @mphile77 is away, galavanting around VIR fullfilling the Moto GP dream and won't be around tonight, I thought I'd take it upon myself to get you guys pumped and ready for the Totally Radical Series Finale tonight!
First stop is the Silverstone Stowe Circuit. We will do the same warmup and qualifying races as we did at Mojave last week, invites going out before each session. The most common mistake here is to exit the first corner wide, this track hands out penalties more often than @coltsjugg opens his mouth. Not a lot of passing zones here, most of it will be under braking and off tracks.
We finish the series at Rouen Les Essarts Short. This track seems straight forward, but has corners that can bite you hard, especially the last half, so stay alert! Again, not a lot of passingly zones, and beware the hairpin, it's going to see some serious action!
See you guys tonight!👍
Yeah, Two classes for sure, maybe 3.
Good racing tonight guys. Most fun so far with this car, battles all night. Hard to unclench my butt cheeks after that.
Glad to hear you really enjoyed the experience and it sounds like you learnt a lot. It is hard to convince some riders of how much this improves all aspects of your riding skills and what it does for your confidence. Now when you next hit the roads you will feel completely different and safer in the knowledge of how much more you can do on your bike. I have a buddy and his daughter who are just starting their third year riding, both on sport bikes, and they are heading to the track in a couple of weeks. He didn't think they were ready but I convinced him otherwise. I can't wait until they finish the day at the track and I get to sit back and listen to their excitement of the day!Sounds like everyone had a good night 👍, while I battled tractor trailers for 8hrs to get hom at 2:30am from VIR.
I must say it was totally worth it, i had a total of 5 classroom sessions, and 14x20min sessions on the north course track which were life changing . I learned sooooooooo much about what a motorcycle can do, and im so far from pushing the limits ya just cant explain it , you can go so much harder if you can just tuck your sack away and just get after it. I mean I never imagined going into turns with never touching rear brake, never coasting, cracking on throttle to set suspension for turn in, and basically not even looking remotely close to where you actually are to make the corner , just an amazing feeling when you got it right . My instructors were top notch (cornerspeed crew) and super nice guys. No egos, not cocky, and would do anything they could to help ,this also included passing me on the track in ways that made me poo , inside, outside, you name it . They even do 2 up ride alongs and you cant believe how fast this dude will pass you with a 200lbs person on his back, just insane!!!
In closing i will say this, ive always wanted to race in some way, but its very expensive to do this! So finding something to fit your budget can be tuff, but if you can find a way to acquire some training and get track time do it, do it, do it!!! It will change you in ways I can't explain, you will learn respect for life, because of the speeds you can achieve. Its a lot different when you cant go and hit pause/return to pit/ then start over, there is no button for that in real life.
I have around 4hrs of gopro footage i need to prepare, so when i get around to this i will get some posted for you guys. The gopro gives a great sense of speed, angle, and traffic situations. Oh and how to be a boss in the rain (so scary).
I did have the chance to take a sv650 race bike out but i never rode reverse shift pattern. My brain is wired one direction for shifting, I also never rode a bike with full slicks. I just didn't feel ready I guess? Mainly with it not being my bike, I didn't want to ruin my buddy's day with me dumping it with a fresh paint job on it as well, hahaGlad to hear you really enjoyed the experience and it sounds like you learnt a lot. So now you can imagine what it must be like to take a pure race bike around a track. If you ever get the chance, don't pass it up.
What will be the next series after the Ariel Atom Enduro?
I was tired out and my whole body hurt after the Stowe race, and I don't even use a wheel and pedals, just took a lot of concentration. Surprised I did that well at Essarts, never seen that track before, and usually my first time on these tracks goes more like the Imola race. I gave up on career mode around the end of season 2 before it really takes you beyond British and American tracks so there was a whole lot of them I'd never raced on before I started racing with you, now that list has mostly shrunk to Zhuhai, Azure, and some of the various little used layouts of others. I might've gotten within drafting distance of colts if I didn't spin off the last corner near the end since I was slowly catching him in the second half of that race.
First series I've enjoyed since the Clio series, and I would've enjoyed that one more if I used ABS for it. The Ricky Bobby night was good also. Every other race has been filled with stupid penalties, losing 10 seconds+ on every pitstop to everyone else for no reason, nonsense tire wear where I can only run the same amount of laps going conservative on mediums or hard on hards as you guys can run on softs, and the traditional pCARS behaviour of going into an unrecoverable slide in random corners even if I've been running them the same all race. This series had none of that and no tuning so I could actually run competitively. Had to run TCS to keep up with you guys in the last few (GTE, M1, and part of the DTM) which I don't enjoy.
I would've liked more tire wear and fuel consumption but was nice not to be held back by the aforementioned slow pit stops, not to mention the glitches.
Whats wong with the Ford? Good carI'll be in for that series, since I actually have some experience with those cars. I'll probably do the Mercedes.
(The fast guys should be forced to use the Sierra)
I'm into that, haven't been on since Monday and haven't run the Atom yet.Friday Night shenanigans
Who's in for some laps tonight , ive now been off for 10 days straight and need to get my but in gear with some Atom practice . Im also looking to plow down some drinks .
Not eh 100% sure, but i think it was a Ducati. It was a Ducati hosted weekend, there was some expensive stuff on track for sure!I'm into that, haven't been on since Monday and haven't run the Atom yet.
Some good pics you posted. Is the guy behind you in the third pic on a Triumph Thruxton?
