Great racing up front! Thanks to @Mike Lobban for joining us and placing respectable mid-pack positions with little practice in the bat:censored:crazy Ford.

One more week of the Kill-Kars then on to fuzzy bunnies.

I had a great time last night. Good clean racing. Man though, you guys are FAST. If not for a pit stop mistake in the first race, I might have been a little closer to the front? I finished about where I thought I would. Can't wait for next week.
Glad u joined us!

Great racing last night but the problem i came across maybe someone knows or if its something that just is, is that my tire temperature in both races would go from 230-240 before i would pit and go straight to 300 in a half lap after i pit and it wouldn't go back down so i just slid around every corner trying not to lose time

Eh_team i still remember the twin ring race forgot which car but being within 1.8 seconds of each other for 55 minutes still my favorite race, even the fuji JCTC race was amazing.

If it aint for eh_team im a mid pack driver at best:cheers::cheers:

I had the same issue after I got out of the pit on donnington too. All greens then suddenly all Browns.

Mine were only a little brown when pitting then boom they were all hot red going from 240 to 300 in 45 seconds is just crazy and it happened in both races

Thats sucks bud, i do know that if you see the tires flashing and flickering you had the tire glitch! I know i had issues in second race big time! Good news is we are off to Assetto Corsa soon, woohoo!

:gtpflag:How we will determine the grid:gtpflag:

Week 1-we will have a normal qualifying session of 1hr and a 5 minute warm up before race one. We will be doing a standing start from the grid for race one. Race two will have a 15 minute qualifying session with a 5 minute warm up. Again we will have a standing start from the grid.

Week 2,3,&,4- we will have a 1hr practice session and a 5 minute warm up before race one. Then we will be performing a manual rolling start for the race . I want the lead car to keep a good comfortable parade lap pace. Everyone should be single file warming tires and brakes, give each other space for this! Then its the leaders responsibility to form the group before last turn and get pace to 60mph for the start! It is very important that everyone gets nice and tight for the start (no laying back ). Race two will be 15 minutes of practice with 5 minute warm up before the race. Then we perform another rolling start just like race one :D.

Now here is the kicker, for weeks 2,3,&,4 we will line the grid up in a reverse grid order based upon our points standings for both races of the night! Mr Mcinnis always puts together a beautiful spead sheet of where we stand each week . So i will post the starting order each week for everyone so you have a heads up 👍. So to clarify when i post the starting grid that is your starting spot for both races that night!

Side note: If you miss any races you will be starting in the rear of the grid, we cant have any ringers missing a week then collecting the pole for 2 events the following week, so this is just how we have to do this, sorry guys ;).

Roasted, toasted, and burnt to a crisp. Too hot to handle, too cold to hold. I'm all out of silly 90's references.

So this recent development is bad, today while practicing my TV has decided kaput is how it should be described. I've already been searching for a replacement but it's not looking so good. Fixing would be nice but at this point probably isn't worth it since it was a 60 inch Sony rear projection behemoth. We'll see what happens but it's not looking good.

Start looking on the side of the roads bro, i see old school tv's road side all the time, because people dont want old bulb style, but 9 times out of 10 they still work :D! One mans junk is another mans treasure 👍.

:( Sorry bud that sucks. Might be a bulb, but even finding one will still set you back $200+ and a couple days, if that's even the case. Too bad you don't live near me, I'd give you the bro hookup on a set. Hope you get something figured out.

Hey Mcinnis,Just drive it over in your gt3 car, then you be backhome in no time!

Reason i say this is because last night im pumping gas and i hear the amazing sound coming and it a Porsche, all decked out in stickers, roll cage, slammed to the ground, and im like :crazy::crazy::eek::eek::eek:. I started to ask him if he did hill climbs or local racing with it? He says well im filling it up now and im driving her to the Watkins Glen for a track day weekend! Im like you lucky mother :censored:er . Funny thing is it a 4.5hr ride, and he sId there is a whole group of them! I would love to see that train of cars cruising through town!

Looks like i have to sit out of the highway since i live only 45 minutes from the glen to look for these porsche's (for only 2 more days tho) but that track is so smooth now been on it in a car and on a bicycle since the repave such a great track

Keep them rocket bunny livery selections coming in guys! We have 5 or 6 guys signed up, I will post them as i get them! Im pretty sure i will be on tonight for some group5 practice, then maybe some good random racing mixed with booze .

i bought a brand new sony bulb for $100 cad online

Unfortunately the problem with my TV is more terminal than a bulb. From everything I can gather, the crappy stock thermal sensor Sony put in all the rear projection tv's has gone and that's a decent bit over $100 as far as I can tell. I didn't pay that much for the TV so I've lined up a replacement that is similar screen size but much more modern. Apparently it was defective in some way so I'm checking it out tomorrow and for $80 it's mine, even if it requires repair it won't cost anyhwere near what buying it new would cost. For this week I've managed to line up a 32 inch that I'll be getting myself acclimated to later tonight after a small amount of rig modding.

So I shall see you ladies on the track tomorrow.:P

:gtpflag:Race day alert:gtpflag:

Ok boys tonight we finish the group5 series :dunce:. This has been a super fast, and fun series i feel! The cars are quick and on edge just the way i like them :scared:. We have had good battles all around, and im sure tonight wont be any different.

My day started at 3am driving my wife and my mother inlaw to Philadelphia so my mother inlaw could have neck surgery. So im hoping all goes well and i get home in time for a nap and race time! I would settle just to be home in time for the race, but my ass will be kicked by this point i think.

So i will hopefully see everyone tonight! I would hate to give this away, i want to complete this series, fingers crossed!!!

Update: i got home and just got a power nap in! Woohoo lets race!

What an action packed night, i had a great battle for the lead in both races! Race one BR was hunting me down and i made a slight mistake and that was it, he passed me and never looked back! Im not sure i had much for him with that speed he carried on the straights . Race 2 eh team and myself dodged the global dive bomb bullet :nervous::confused::mad::scared: in turn one. Then the battle was on and i think i fended him off for 8-9 laps but bye this point i knew i was in trouble :banghead:. He got around me and then i crashed myself into 4th before to long 👎 👎 👎. I would like to thank mexi for running out of gas to give me back 2nd, i owe ya one buddy :D.

Still have rocket bunny spots left for our final pcars series! Then it's Assetto Corsa time, im pumped!!!
