Knockout Night!!!
11/21/17 8:30pm EST


The weapon of choice will be the BMW 1M Coupe Stanceworks Edition (Road D)

-The Rules-
The only cars allowed to be knocked out of the races are the top 3, so basically if your in a podium position you can be taken out at any time!(2nd and 3rd position can take the leader out as well, along with each other). Then from 4th on back you guys must respect each other the best you can, try and keep it clean, but anyone of you can take out the leaders at any time, and by cutting the track if necessary, but try not to take others out in the process if they are not in top 3. Top 3 spots must drive the correct course at all times, so if your in a podium position no track cutting! Now here comes the crazy part, once you enter the last lap of the race it becomes a full on wreck fest, free for all and anything goes, anyone can be taken out no matter what your position. The final lap we also allow the leaders to now be able to track cut, this all plays into strategic positioning as the race unfolds. A winner will be crowned at the end of the night, so i need everyone to please finish these races, so you can be properly scored!

I want everyone to keep an open mind for this night and just have fun and blow off some steam, this is what its designed for, so enjoy and don't get all bent when you get wrecked! If you come into this room expecting to do well, then ummm,its not the right room for you, we will get ya, haha!

-Weather and Regs-
We will keep the time of day, tracks, and weather changing all night! I won't have anything planned at all, we will just roll with the punches as they come. The racing will start at 8:30pm est and last untill 10:30pm est. So we will get as many races in as we can in this time frame. The races will all be small 3 to 10 lappers depending on where we race? Tire wear, fuel on normal, damage on visible only, no penalties, no pit stops.

First come first serve for this event, im sure we will have room for everyone! Pick any livery and join the madness!

Cars are going to be flying. Tomorrow would be a good time to assign your reset to track buttons. The problem with it is if 2 cars are close to each other you cant use it.
Everyday is a good day to assign your mute buttons.
I think the lobbanero lounge found a problem with cutting the sectors and it not counting laps, so we might have to keep an eye out on that.

I will try and make it as it does sound interesting. My wife games from time to time and if she sees that I pass up an opportunity to play with her she might get a little upset. She doesn't care that I race leagues and what not because she knows how passionate I am about racing and how much of a competitor I can be when it comes to basically anything. Thanks for everyone that made it out last night . First couple races I tried to mix in some different tracks that we haven’t used on knockout Night, and yeah they sucked a bit . Once we got to the normal tracks we use it all got better , so i hope you guys enjoyed some of it 👍. Next week we fire up round 2 of the endurance racing series in the GT1 class, then we start the GTE series the following week . So we will be busy after turkey day, have a good holidays wanks!

Donnington will be in the next one, along with Zolder. We just ran out of time last night, in fact Zolder was on my list. I want to include an oval track next time, but i need to work out some changes so it works for us. Im thinking about a tag team night where you have to smash into your teammate, and you basically repeat this process over and over for the whole race (like a relay). The rule will be you must hit your teammate at full speed , i will have to test this of course. I can see the mass confusion of someone trying to find there teammate on the track to hit . These are just some of the silly ways im trying find for guys to have a good fun night, with some laughs 👍

Ok my pick is in for the GT1 series and im going with the Nissan R390 GT1 (1998)

She ain’t the fastest machine out there, but then again neither am i . She treats me ok and doesn’t try and murder me all the time, well except for in the rain but i think we will all feel that together . Ive tested every car in this group, and i found a big gap from the Ferrari(fastest) to the Toyota(slowest) so chose wisely my friends. Im just stating my results in my testing, so dont take my word for it, check it out for yourself!

Added: also huge thanks to @Mike Lobban for sending me his old t300 rim and saving my butt! Thanks to him im shifting without holding my breath wondering if my paddle switches are gonna hold up , so thanks you BOB

Had fun last night as well , surry I bounced early. I went straight to bed after i got off, i was pretty far out there I think . I did learn some stuff during the race, one the brakes are just terrible in the Nissan , and she wasn’t near as stable as I thought she would be for me(lots of spinz). So i will hop back on and explore my options because we still have time , ahhh the luxury of first world video game problems

Lol, but I don’t think you were as far out there as I was! OMG I was bad, could hardly drive, I lost count on how many times Mexxi went by me! The “beer” stops were good though!
I bailed during next race, went in and stayed up until 1 am watching Guardians of the Galaxy 2, too funny!

For the Endurance races I will take the #26 Mercedes. I ran all the cars today at Zhuhai for 7 laps each. All of my fastest times with each are within a tenth of a second. The Mercedes was 3 thousandths quicker than the Esperante so I guess I'll take the Mercedes. These cars seem very evenly matched.....at least at Zhuhai anyway
