It was probably transferred straight from Gran Turismo 4. Better to have the car in the game than not at all though. 👍

Thanks. Basically they just retextured them. I'm ok with that as long as they have a working LCD. No working LCD in first person view in Formula GT = ehw.

I've had the HD video on my desktop since yesterday. I'm 98.6% certain you can't judge premiums vs standards based on the video let alone which standards have or have not been improved.

They remodeled it, like the ruf's and the rs200's.Updated textures don't add definition.

Of course you can't. This list will be updated and every car will be verified. I want it to be a guide not hype fuel. I hope it will be useful for those looking for better standard models and virtual photographers. For now we are sure only in few cases like Fords RS200 or BMW M3 CSL. I don't want to make another speculatove thread, just a list what was updated and what is exactly the same.

As far as I'm aware looking at the pics both RS200 road and rally car are premium. U can see the wight rear wing through the back window where on the standards let's say the ford escort rally car u can't see the wight wing through the window.

I always thought the 430 was one of the worser looking standards of the bunch. Maybe it's improved a bit? (Hopefully)

I have to disagree. When you can see geometric edges Ina "round" wheel or a wheel arch, that is still unacceptable. The Audi Auto Union car looks disgusting. It still looks like it is straight out of GT4. People are looking at different things to judge these Standard cars. I'm looking to see if things that are supposed to be round are actually round.

Where do you see edges in the wheel arches on the ruf's?Its unacceptable for standards or just in general?If you mean for standards I have to disagree.I wasn't expecting any standard to receive that much work and remain a standard.I was just expecting textures on all cars to be updated to an actual HD resolution texture.But it appears they didn't,they just touched some up, which is better than nothing I guess.This is evident by the horrible shine that the standards have (and had in gt4, it just want very noticeable because the game was sub hd).If they updated the maps good enough they could make a flat object appear to have more definition from most angles.But yea, like I said before if you are looking for new models on all the standards you will be disappointed.
