Are your eyes okay? No offense intended, but as they may be greatly improved, they still do not match a premium car's quality. May be the differing quality of photos and videos you are seeing.

I would love it if new RUFs were added, but I'm happy with the amount of RUFs we have now. At least they don't look as bad as they used to.

True, after all the newer ones although more powerful, are bigger and heavier and some might argue uglier.

Oh wow. So they actually did do touching up! Sweet!
I'm glad they did those slight remodels and retextures to some of the standards. It makes the touched up ones not look like eyesores anymore.

Almost all cars that were previously "standart" remodeled same way as R390, some got only high polygons body and old lowres textures . Those that have not been touched at all looked normal before, so PD left them as they were.

Why? Because it's one of a group of iconic modern Japanese sports cars, along with the RX7, the Skyline, the NSX, the Evo and the Impreza. All of which have premium models. The Supra is the odd one out, and I still find it hard to believe that they haven't bothered to make a premium one.

Does no one at PD like it or something? Was Kaz touched by a Supra when he was a child?

those R390, I didn't realized that the GT5 car looks so horrid. The GT6 version though, looks amazing. There's actually an air intake vent and headlights, the GT5's version looks like stickers

Standard cars upgraded to Semi-premium status can be easily spotted by looking at seams between body panels, doors, and typically 3D door handles.
The Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R '00 appears to be one of them too.

The also tend having rather transparent windows instead of opaque-looking ones.

There are various levels of "semi-premiumness". Some cars appear to only have more prominent (3D) seams between body panels, others appear to have been reworked quite a bit (these ones have very transparent windows, although their cockpit is still black). I'm not sure if I want to list them all now, it really would take a lot of time.
