Is the Toyota ALTEZZA RS200 '98 one of the upgraded standards? Because I'm looking at it now and it does'nt look to bad.

Mock all you want, I don't care, but there are very few Standard cars I won't miss.

I will have to say though that there are two possible outcomes with GT7, a game with upgraded Standards and a game with all Prems. Now, if one result happens, there will probably be some moping here but not much else. But if it goes the other way, some people here are going to be insufferable...

I don't know. I think I'll miss the Pagani Zonda somehow, it's one of the most characteristic car to drive and one of the best sounding with the stock exhaust.

...but the idea/point is the most popular standard cars could/should be done from scratch as premium. There aren't THAT many, maybe 200? The rest are mostly duplicates/oddball/unpopular cars that not many people would miss. Even then, they could be re-added later as a premium car when they're re-done.

Nobody wants to lose a lot of the actual vehicles, what we want gone are the tarted up PS2 models. They have no place in a PS4 game.

@Tenacious D. I want you to look very close to these images.

too bad...

Do you reeeeally want these in GT7? Look at the state of these... Things. o_o Won't it be better if PD just updated these two lovely cars that are standard, into premium models? They'll ditch them yeah, but they can appear again in DLC packs, if there were any. Won't you rather that? :)

@TokoTurismo, I did look very close at those images. In fact, I had to look VERY close to the Renault for quite a few seconds, as what was so devastatingly ugly wasn't all that apparent. ;)

Look, first of all, I think you guys are completely misreading why we Standards fans love our cars. Of course we would rather have them upgraded to Premium - who wouldn't! Now, does anyone have a magic wand handy that can perfectly model a car to any specification in a second?

Second, I know you're all horrified at the thought that PD might damage your PS4s and HDTVs with such flawed data because we exist, and Kaz only listens to people who say nothing but good things about his series. Sure, whatever...

So let me tell you what should make everyone happy. When GT7 ships, in the inevitable install screen, there should be an option to install all Standard Level content, tracks and cars. This way, we can enjoy more tracks and cars from the get go, and you guys can have nothing but Premium level beauty. I know PD are probably going to upgrade just about everything over time, but some of us would rather have our cars right then, and not wait the six man-months required to create each one.

Er... forgot that some people are okay with Standard tracks. Imagine that. ;)
