Hello, I have been thinking of ways to recreate the Top Gear staple of SIARPC. I looked over all the cars, need one that is a premium model, available at any level, front engine, front drive, relatively recent model, and of course...reasonably priced.

The one that looks best is the Suzuki Swift Sport '07, $16,300 from the dealer. 123 hp, FF, similar to the SX4 used in Top Gear USA, no good analog for the Kia Cee'd they are using in TGUK right now.

Snap one up, throw it on the Top Gear track bone stock, zero mods and see what you can do. We just need to get a "Stig" to set the baseline...who is our tamed race driver?

What do you guys think?

you dont understand. topgear wasnt the greatest when it first came out and i mean before the new topgear came out with jeremy being the big dog. Plus that fat guy in the first season was uber lame. itll get better. i think they're doing a good job for what they have to be compared too.

Man I'm so not feeling the American TG. They dont have....dare I say, the swagger as UK gang. I have to admit, though, the chopper chase was cool.

but yea I'm down.

They're going to need time to get their banter up to speed. Because, let's face it, you watch that show for the cinematography and the banter between the hosts.

Anyway.

I'd be totally down for a star in a reasonably priced car thing.

I only watched the american versionfor 10 min and was turned offneed to give it another try... the bbc topgear is the best thing out of europe since my ancestors! Lol jk. No but a reasonably priced car competition would killl.... I say do it on the honor system otherwise a bunch of tedious work to do... check out neogaf they have a VERY detailed way to do it fair

We already have a SIARPC thread. In the future, please do a search before starting new threads.
