The Reasonably Priced Car - Your Opinions.

My point was that we just don't know which cars are going to be in GT5, so naming this that and the other as suitable RPC's is a bit pointless at this stage until we know which cars we will definitely have to choose from.
Is it wrong to speculate....atleast I'm suggesting something that allows us to use some imagination when it comes to being the RPC. That's why I'm saying three options because if the Lacetti isn't in there then there will be the inevitable scratching of heads going, "WTF do we do, we can't replicate the SIARPC segment, blah blah blah!" and you know it will happen, it always happens here.

With Top Gear tie-ins with episodes on GT-TV and the Top Gear test track reportedly in GT5, intelligent money would go on having a Liana or Lacetti in the game too.
I actually would like to see a Liana in there, just having the Escudo and Kei cars in there doesn't feel right for Suzuki, especially since they have had much more in their line-up over the years (Swift, Baleno, Sierra/Jimny, Grand Vitara to name a few) but I doubt it will happen. Same with the Daewoo, but it's not unprecedented to have a manufacturer in there with only 1 product on offer (ie. Spyker, Seat, etc. in GT4) but here's hoping for your sake.

Now give me more suggestions people, what's your opinion for the Reasonably Priced Car (now known as RPC in future posts from here on).

Well if the Liana is in the game that'd be the obvious choice in my opininon..

But if not i think the Skoda Roomster or ... any Skoda really!👍

The Vauxhall Vectra 3.2 or Corsa 1.4 might be good ones.

That is assuming most of GT4's car list will be carried over.

-> I think PD should implement the same way as Top Gear UK did:

UK
- Suzuki Llana (aka. Suzuki Aerio [USDM])
- Chevrolet Lacetti (aka. Suzuki Verona [USDM], Daewoo Lacetti [KDM])

US
- Ford Focus {ST} EV (from The Jay Leno Show)
* Kia Rio {base} sedan (was supposed to be in Top Gear USA)

:)

Didn't know GM owned Suzuki :dopey:

Is "fashionable" to be environment friend, what about a few laps of the Top Gear track in a "green car".

I think Jay Leno was going to do a star in a reasonably priced car sort of thing on his show after going on top gear and if I'm right, they were going to use a prius or something of that sort.

Edit- After some wikipedia-ing it seems they're using an electric Ford Focus. Don't take word for any of this mind, I'm going by what was on the Top Gear website, I've never seen Jay Leno's show.

^ Used to be in collaboration with GM. Just now, Suzuki and VW just tied the knot.

^ Yup Jay's show uses a EUDM Ford Focus ST, but it is electrically propelled.

If they have both the Top Gear track and the actual model of the reasonably priced car we could do timed laps and compare them to the times of the stars on the show.

If you were a "star" that was going to appear on the show could you then use GT5 to practice on for a few weeks to give you a competitive advantage when you had to do the real thing for the show?

i think the Chevy will be included in the game, afterall they include the track, but i hope they include the topgear version of the car with the rollcage.
