Well..i've been drifing in GT4 for a while, but after some frustrating experiences about trying to do some donuts in it i turn to GT3 and found it more inspiring to me.:)
in fact i'm not an enthusiast about GT series, on the contrary i play GT4 first and just got GT3 few days ago.
i'm not trying to raise any question about physics in GT3 vs. GT4 cause there's been a lot of discussion about this. it's just my personal feeling that i can get more control on the torque than just speed in GT3 and the tyres offer more information between sticky and slippery feel.
Here's a short clip of 180SX and RX7 doing stationary circular revolving in GT3 arcade drift mode, rolling of the car is very realistic compare to videos of reality i think..... and that inspires me a lot!

You may already know this, but if you go on Ernie's Can of Whoop Ass (www.ecowa.com) and click on the movies link, there's a short called ‘bad drifting’. The guy is drifting around in a BMW and breaks something (presumably a steering link or something) and the Beemer is stuck going around in circles. The guy can't shut off the engine so he eventually gets out and the car runs him over.

Nothing broke -- he was drifting around, started doing donuts, and then decided to set the cruise control and step out of the car to show everyone how "cool" he is. Then, well...you know the rest.

Caution - Exhaust may be hot...

I think he remembers that next time he decides to get under the car to check his oilpan right after driving like an utter tosser...

it would of been alright, its not the best drifting but those cars arnt the easiest to drive, especially when there on top of you BAHAHAHAHA!! ok he might of died....:indiff: but that seemed fair, he drift the car....the car drifts him
