Still Play GT2?

I'm still playing GT2, as I haven't bought a ps2 (in addition I don't like the "reduced" GT3 car choose).
I will play GT2 even after the GT4 release, (switching time between the two games, I mean) you can bet that. Not all gt2 cars and tracks are available in gt4.

Hoooooorrraaaaaaaayyyy (running around the room with arms waving) I can't wait for those Arsene Wenger type shrewd purchases.

Used cars are good but I have never ever had to buy a car in GT1 and I only bought a car in GT2 to enter manufacturer events. The reason why I am replying to this is to find out if you are a gunners fun. I am in Australia but I love the gunners. :)

I still think GT has the best game play out of the 3 titles so far. GT2 is only good for the amount of cars and the European & American cars that were included, GT3 was good for the graphics. Hopefully GT4 will tie it all together again, then GT5 will have damage and the game will be complete.

Yup, GT1 definitely is the most thoroughly challenging. Unless you cheat with a 900+ hp Skyline in every race, that is.

You know, I never actually got around to buying GT1 - I just went straight to GT2. :ill:

That said, I still play GT2 simply because the parents aren't letting me get a PS2. When I want permission to buy one, they ask me what's wrong with my PS1 (and they don't count bad graphics as something being "wrong") :(

I really need to finish playing GT2. I got really far but ended up getting distracted with so many other games that came out at the end of this year.

Just take them to Wal-Mart and show them a GT3 store demo, if your dad's into cars like mine is, maybe he'll go for it!

Yup, I'm still playing it, I'm not doing too bad (seeing as though I only started a new game a couple of days back).

I got a Maxxed out Skyline R34 (R)
I still have my first car, which has been supped up a bit to around 450hp, the car would be a '91 Supra Twinturbo
I also have the SilEighty stock, of which I'm saving untill I have deep pockets so I can max that out too :)

I have used a Skyline to win races, and a GTO, Supra RZ, TRD 3000 and a Cerberra LM as well. However I take the challenge from also racing the lower spec race win cars through the same races, the Demio and Civic etc.

If memory serves a SilEighty shouldn't brake the bank in getting it 'maxed' out. The most expensive bit is the R mods as always.

I still play GT2 also, on the ePSXe emulator. Everything looks sweeter and GT2 has way more selection than GT3 so sometimes I just like fooling around with older cars. The only problem with my playing on my computer is that I don't have an analog controller so driving is a little less accurate. If you guys are still playing GT2, I strongly suggest trying it out on the ePSXe emulator if you have a decent computer. Much Much better than playing it on PSX or PS2 or any other emulator.

I like to think about what car i might buy next (in real life) and work on, so sometimes I'll just fire up the old GT2 to see what (approx.) a car would be like. For example, I'm thinking of buying an older CRX and putting a Civ Type R engine in there so I tried to make a similar car in GT2. I've also thought about maybe buying an old 323 GTX and maybe sooping it up or getting a first gen Miata and putting a newer 1.8l engine in. So, I still play GT2 just to get a feel for the cars. BTW, I like driving on Grindelwald backwards cause its the most similar to where I drive in real life.

I know that this might be much, but could you or anyone take me through the step-by-step way to get this emulator working on my computer? I tried to follow the directions, but when it came to the Bios, I could not access them somehow? I really want to play GT2 on my computer! Thanks
