Nice work Nurbfanatic and welcome to CLUB 200! See you've already got your signature link in place! đź‘Ť!

You'll have to wait a little while before your name appears in the official list, in Post #1, as I'm doing the updates once or twice a month now, and your first entry appeared only a few minutes after I'd sent the last update off to the thread starter! :ouch:
Keep the submissions coming, and check here for updates about when the next update will happen, I usually post here to let everyone know that there's one imminent. :)

So hispeed has already added Nurbfanatic to the list, but his race entries won't appear until my next update!

Some more submissions for me, for the Manufacturers events.
Some of these were really tough, I estimate the Tokyo race took me 20 or more attempts to get clean enough for submission, I mean who's ever heard of a 1 lap race? Come on! :dunce: Had to qualify 1st for every race which isn't difficult, but from the standing starts at Tokyo and Apricot Hill, trying to prevent the Elise 111R and Elise Sport 190 from passing is damned near impossible, but if they get clear you're toast! :grumpy: It's fairly easy to pull away during the 1st lap of each race, but the AI fly through the second lap making a nailbiting finish at every venue. :scared: Blocking is definitely required. :guilty:

Manufacturers Events : Lotus : Elise Trophy : All Races (1-5)
Car: Lotus Elise '00 / MR / 120HP / 714kg / 6.0kg/HP / 113 A-spec points

Thanks to these races my A-spec tally has now passed the 50,000 point mark! Woohoo! :D

*edit*
European Hall : British Lightweight Series : Race 2 Apricot Hill Reverse
Car: Lotus Elise Type 72 '01 / MR / 120HP / 756kg / 6.3kg/HP / 100 A-spec points.

I'm a little confused as to how Kimi-R managed 105 - 109 points per race as I sat here for 30 minutes (literally!) entering and exiting this race and checking the points for each one, it seems there's a limited number of lineups given the AI selection, which range from a minimum of 81 points, to 87, 89, 91, 97 and 100 points, but I never saw one higher than 100. :boggled: Must have gone through 30 or more lineups, before I reset the console and went back to the 2nd lineup for 100 points. This may be one of those PAL vs. NTSC differences.

Endurance Races: Tokyo 300km
Car: BMW M3 GTR Race Car '01 (R1 tires)/ FR / 450hp (on garage screen) / 1120 kg / 2.487 kg/hp / 110 A-Spec points

vs. the following lineup:

Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car '01
Nissan Xanavi Nismo GT-R '03 (JGTC)
Nissan Xanavi Hiroto GT-R '01 (JGTC)
2000 Ford Falcon XR8
Toyota Castrol Tom's Supra '01 (JGTC)

So far I have found the Honda NSX-R great for this challenge. It's so quick through the corners it's unbelievable. I can't remember what race series I did, however each race was for 164 A-spec points and easily won by at least 5 seconds per race, and on one race i recall winning by over 11 seconds!

Hey, had my first crack at a 200 points race and won! Next race I want to enter is using another lightweight awsome handling car the NSX-R.

Professional hall: Clubman cup race 5 - Deep Forest
Car: Lotus Elise '00 / MR / 120HP (no oil) / 714kg / 5.95kg/HP / 200 A-spec

Here's a few that I won with no add-ons:

MR Beginner, Driving Park
Toyota MR2 Spyder '99 (S2, set driving aids to 0/0/0, no oil change) - 200 A-spec

Schwarzwald Liga A - Trial Mountain
BMW 2002 Turbo '73 (S2, set driving aids to 0/0/0, no oil change) - 200 A-spec

Schwarzwald Liga A - Autumn Ring
BMW 2002 Turbo '73 (S2, set driving aids to 0/0/0, no oil change) - 200 A-spec

El Capitan Endurance Race
Suzuki GSX/R4 (S2, set driving aids to 0/0/1, no oil change) - 200 A-spec

Japanese races: Japanese 90's Challenge race 5 - Fuji
Mitsubishi 3000GT SL (J) '96 (Used, No oil) / 4WD / 203HP / 1610kg / 158 A-spec points

Endurance Races: Grand Valley 300km
Car: BMW M3 GTR Race Car '01 (R1 tires)/ FR / 450 hp (on garage screen) / 1120kg / 2.487 hp/kg / 131 A-Spec points

Endurance races: Laguna Seca 200 miles
Car: Honda NSX Type R '92 (used, oil changed, R1 tyres) / MR / 283HP / 1230kg / 4.3kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

vs. 6th lineup after reset. A very exciting race, full report can be found here.

I've just updated my list with all the new submissions. Post #1 update should happen soon.
Welcome to CLUB 200 to identti and pupik!

@ pupik please submit future entries in the correct format so it's easier to cut/paste into the list. Check your PM inbox for details.

*edit* Another 200 pt race.

Manufacturers Events : Club "RE" Race 2 - Autumn Ring Reverse
Car: Mazda RX-7 Infini III (FC,J) '90 (Used, oil changed) / FR / 209HP / 1200kg / 5.7 kg/HP/ 200 A-spec points!

vs. 8th lineup after reset, in starting and finishing order:-
Mazda 110S (L10B) '68
Mazda RX-8 Type S (J) '03
Mazda RX-7 Infini II (FC,J) '90
Mazda RX-7 GT-Limited (FC,J) '85
Mazda RX-7 GT-X (FC,J) '90

Manufacturer's Events : Club "RE" Race 1 - Laguna Seca
Car: Mazda RX-7 Type R (FD,J) '91 (Used, no oil) / FR / 228HP / 1260kg / 5.5kg/HP / 188 A-spec points.

*Edit* And another for Manufacturer's Events. Uncle Harry already has this race listed, but he'd changed oil on his Civic, I wondered if it was possible to do it without? It is! Thanks to a field of AI Integras and an Accord Euro-R, all of whom at some point during the race run wide at the last bend and end up accidentally pitting! Some more than once! :dunce:

Manufacturer's Events : Type-R Meeting : Motorland
Car: Honda Civic Type R (EK) '98 (Used, no oil) / FF / 163HP / 1050kg / 6.4kg/HP / 200 A-spec points!

I'll tell you tomorrow if I recall right.. but I think i got 200 pts from a race either in expert hall's sunday cup with an MR2 SC '86.. stock, with oilchange. and then, there was atleast one other race too. but, I'll tell you guys when I get it confirmed.

Leonidae, look forward to your submissions if you find them, please remember to post them in the format listed in post 1, or as I've demonstrated below. We can't give you credit on the Club 200 list until you do.

@pupik I've added 3 of your races to the list, El Capitan Enduro, and the Schwarzwald Liga A races. The MR race I need you to clarify the car stats, since I don't have one with no oil to look at. I know you read my PM, so I'd appreciate you coming back with an update of the power on that car, and if you can remember, the AI lineup that you beat, since it's a really diffcult circuit to pass cleanly on, especially in something so underpowered, so I'm curious.

Finally, the reason for my post,

Manufacturer's Events : Type-R Meeting : Autumn Ring
Car: Honda Accord Euro-R '00 (Used, oil changed) / FF / 216HP / 1330kg / 6.2kg/HP / 195 A-spec points

Another one! Heavily relies on having a grid with no NSXs and an Accord Euro R on pole, but turns out to be a relatively easy win! (found one about 6 - 9 lineups after console reset.)

Manufacturer's Events : Type-R Meeting : Tsukuba
Car: Honda Civic Type R (EP) '01 (Used, no oil) / FF / 192HP / 1190kg / 6.2kg/HP / 200 A-spec points! :D

I don't recall the power amount, but it was a high-mileage, used '99, with no oil change, and no ballast required. I'm not near my PS2 to have look. I don't recall the line-up, but I recall the 2nd-place car was an older NSX; I won it powering out of the chicane cleaner than the NSX, and blocked the heck out of him to win. Just about every AI car traded paint with me at some point, but I attest that I did not straight-line any corners, nor put more than 1 wheel off at any time during the race.

If the blocking and bumping makes for a "dirty" win, then by all means don't post my name to the list for that race!

Blocking is no problem, nor is bumping, as long as it's the AI bumping you. If you've had to bump inside the AI on any turn, to gain an advantage at any point, then the race is considered invalid. We do make exceptions for how dumb :dunce: the AI is certain places at certain circuits, but you're not allowed to deliberately trade paint with them to gain an advantage. đź‘Ž
There are certain places where, you can obviously pass the AI, but oblivious to your presence they will, without fail, turn right into the back of you, this, as I understand it is OK. I try as much as possible to race 100% clean, but with 5 other dumb AI participants, it's not always 100% possible, especially if blocking is allowed! As long as there's been no deliberate attempts to go inside the AI, and use them as a means to navigate the turn at their expense, then you're fine.

I'd appreciate it though if you could, next time you're near your PS2, make a note of your car stats, by selecting the car in the garage, going to "sell" and taking the power & weight data from there. If you divide weight by power, you'll get a WPR figure that makes a lot more sense than the value given on the garage screen if you select "Power Weight Ratio"!

Anyway, thanks for getting back to us on that pupik, I have 3 valid entries for you all the same, so you're definitely a CLUB 200 member, and you've a potential 4th entry if you meet the conditions above. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but we like real racers, not "push 'em off the track" style thugs here! I'm 99.99999% sure you're for real, but we've not got a WRS style replay enforcement in place, and we've had our fair share of fake entries! 230HP from a stock Mercedes SLK springs readily to mind!!!! :dunce:

On to my next entry, for now....

Manufacturer's Events : Toyota : Altezza Race 1 : Tsukuba
Car: Lexus IS200 '98 / FR / 158HP / 1310kg / 8.3kg/hp / 114 A-spec points

vs. 6th lineup after reset, with Lexus IS200 '98 (not the (J) version!) on pole. Blocks all the rest of the field, but the SportCross is a bugger to pass cleanly, as you'll catch him at the last tight hairpin on lap 1 and he's very slow through there if you aren't expecting it! Took me 10 attempts at this to get it perfect!

I agree Smallhorses, but I have some things I'd like to suggest to be made requirements for posting entries:

1) If a certain field is required, then it must be stated and how many resets it took to find.
2) Margin of victory- I have had 100 A-spec point races be tougher than 200 A-spec point races, so it helps to know what kind of race I'd be getting into and if I can do it.
3) Quality(similar to MoV)- A short(2-3 sentences) description of the race basically stating the quality of the race(number of mistakes, perfect laps, etc.).
4)*optional* Other notes/hints for winning the race.

Just suggestions ;)

Off topic: You're a night-owl too eh SM? zzzzzzzz...:ill:

Off topic: You're a night-owl too eh SM? zzzzzzzz...:ill:

True-ish! Though I effectively work a 9-5 day, I'm not a stickler for a particular bedtime! I go to bed when I'm tired/done racing/drunk enough/wife's feeling naughty :P/ depending on situation!

I appreciate your suggestions, and I've done my best in the past to adhere to everything you've asked for, but in reality, I'm just a list maintainer, not the thread keeper, so it's not my place to decide on the submission rules.

It does help everyone involved if a race is submitted with the full details requested in hispeed's original post. If you choose to submit details of the AI lineup and how many attempts it took to find that lineup, then it's also helpful to other submitters that try to emulate your races, but since it's not a requirement, it's not strictly necessary.

Obviously fake submissions will always be questioned though, such as the badcatnobiscuit's Sunday Cup entry that was removed, and several of Toronado's Lotus Esprit submissions that were queried, and he later found to be ineligible due to modifications.

We're not here to make scapegoats of anyone, if you have legitimate concerns over any race or submission, PM hispeed or myself and we'll deal with it as is seen fit.

Good suggestions that would be quite useful if everybody would post this info along with the required stats.

I will not make this mandatory though.

1) I think most who scrutinize the line-ups to find precious and rare 200p wins, will inform about this to avoid being questioned about authenticity.
2) Best way to know if its doable is to check the highest current A-spec submission, find a slightly lesser car, and try.
3) By submitting, one honorably states that the rules have been followed. Bragging about a superclean über-race is allowed.
4) For close-call enduros, pit-strategy would be a nice add-on to the submissions.

Special Conditions : Capri Rally : Normal difficulty
Car: Toyota MR2 GT-S '97(used, oil changed) VS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS T.M.E. '01 / 247HP / 1270kg/ 5.14kg/hp / 122 A-Spec points

(2nd opponent)
Easy race in terms of fighting with the AI(though the MR2 was a handful), even after running wide a few times. MR is so much better than AWD on this track đź‘Ť I gained about 2 seconds per lap in the latter part of the track and lost very little time on the first half. Won by 4+ seconds.

Reverse mode soon to follow... edit: maybe later, as the first lap has to be 100% perfect if I even want a chance at passing

edit: And after a swig of ginger ale I've done it! A perfect first section allowed me to pass on the hairpin right before the great uphill climb. Margin of victory of 2.7 seconds! A couple of minor wall bumps, and a VERY minor bump on the AI during passing(AI doesn't have perepheral vision :D)

Special Conditions : Capri Rally (reverse) : Normal difficulty
Car: Toyota MR2 GT-S '97(used, oil changed) VS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS T.M.E. '01 / 247HP / 1270kg/ 5.14kg/hp / 122 A-Spec points

2 more, stock races, but pitiful points! Have to get 3 x IS300 SportCross' in the lineup to manage this meagre total too!

Altezza Races 2 & 4 : Suzuka and Twin Ring Motegi - Road Course
Car : Lexus IS200 (J) '98 / FR / 207HP / 1340kg / 6.5kg/HP / 57 A-spec points

*edit* And another 2 for even less! Same 3 x SportCross' lineup required to get this pittance!

Altezza Races 3 & 5 : Apricot Hill and Fuji Speedway 2005
Car: Lexus IS300 Sport Cross '01 / FR / 217HP / 1470kg / 6.8kg/HP / 41 A-spec points

Should be easy enough to beat! But that's the 3 Lexus/Altezzas out of the way..... on to more exciting races....;)

Wooohooo!
Only my second 200 point rally, and a pretty easy one at that!

Special Conditions: Swiss Alps Rally : Hard difficulty
Car: Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution Rally Car '03 / 4WD / 269HP / 1825kg / 6.8kg/HP / vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Rally Car '99 / 200 A-spec points!

Professional hall, Sunday Cup, Deep Forest
car: Toyota MR2 1600 G-Limited SC'86 (6.2 miler) /MR /149 bhp /1070kg /PWT 7.170 / 200 A-Spec points!:D

Thanks Leonidae and welcome to CLUB 200! An update has just taken place earlier today, so it'll be a little while before the next one, but look for you name in the list in post #1 and your race in the list when the next update happens.
hispeed or myself will usually post in here just prior to, or just after an update occurs.
Feel free to add a signature link if you'd like, it's a great thing to show off! :D

oops.. forgot to mention that it has oilchange done. for some reason, edit-button didn't work for me. meh..

El Capitan Enduro (didn't see that speedy already used this car! but I didn't wanna pick another after 55 laps! lol)
Jaguar XKR R-Performance '02 / FR / 395HP / 1735kg / 4.4kg/HP / 200 A-spec

I used S2 tires.

No problem Thirdeye, the El Capitan Enduro is probably the most popular stock 200 point race, with around 16 entries, and 13 different stock vehicles that have achieved it!
That you've repeated a race in the same vehicle as someone else shows that the original submission is verified as possible, so thanks for doing that! :)
Obviously we don't have time to verify every single submission in this way! That would be a monumental task!
Only very dubious submissions are queried, there's a few in process at the moment, but for the most part everyone who submits here is a trusted racer and won't gain anything by submitting fake races! đź‘Ž
Fake submissions only waste other people's time and energy in trying to recreate the same lineups or races in their own pursuit of A-spec points, and that's not something we'd like to endorse.

Nice idea.

I thought just to post and say I have done El Capitan endurance in the Suzuki GSX R4 stock, and have done New York in the Opera Performance car, both for 200 a-spec points, which I have, so put me on the list.

Then I saw there are a couple of entries needed for other races, so here goes.

These weren't for 200 A-Spec so I expect they will be bettered.

European Hall : 1000 Miles Race 2 Opera Paris
Car: Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-B (S54A) '67/FR/S1s/123BHP/1095KG/17.00KG 72A-Spec points by foghorn_100

European Hall : 1000 Miles Race 3 Cote D'Azur
Car: Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-B (S54A) '67/FR/N3s/123BHP/1095KG/17.00KG 76A-Spec points by foghorn_1`00

European Hall : 1000 Miles Race 4 Sarthe
Car: Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-B (S54A) '67/FR/S1s/123BHP/1095KG/17.00KG 72A-Spec points by foghorn_100

I will do Nurb in this series just to complete the four as well. the 1970 skyline does it for 41 a-spec, but i will probably go for around 70 a-spec at least when i do it.

Filled some gaps.

Japanese races: Japanese 70's Classics race 1 - Fuji
Car: Mitsubishi Galant GTO MR '70 / MR / 123HP / 980kg / 8.0 kg/HP / 41 A-Spec
Against Fairlady Z 280Z-G 2Seater '78 + bunch of crappy ones

Japanese races: Japanese 70's Classics race 2 - Autumn Ring Mini
Car: Mitsubishi Galant GTO MR '70 / MR / 123HP / 980kg / 8.0 kg/HP / 47 A-Spec
Against Nissan 240ZG '71 + lousy ones

There should be more points to be won with the perfect lineup. Fuji is a bit tricky as your main opponents will gain on you at the long straights. Slight blocking might be nescessary.

Autumn Ring is pure technical driving. Just make sure your best opponent doesn't start first. Watch out so that you don't accidentally "ride" the AI's in corners.

Edit: Another one:
European Hall: European Classic Car League race 5 - Deep Forest
Car: Lotus Elan S1 '62 / FR / 110 HP / 639 kg / 5.8 kg/HP / 10 A-spec*

Against the Jaguar e-type, Merc 300sl, alfa spider and giulia and *bloody damn* VW Karmann...
If you cuould replace the Karmann with a better car, the A-spec would boost to the 40-50ies.
Stay clear of the a/c 427 (might be possible if this bugger starts in 5th position - in Deep Forest, as I was only 4s behind and lazily driving with my DS2/AT setup)

Yet another one:
Extreme hall: GT All Stars Race 5 - Test Course
Car: Chaparral 2J Race Car ('70) / MR / 679HP / 820kg / 1.2kg/HP / 200 A-spec*
Line up: Sauber C9, Toyota GT-1, BMW v12, Mazda 787B and BMW McLaren F1. Just used some slip-stream
