(Stock) Honda CRZ Championship S2 - DannyB013 is the champion!Finished

As Mike said with the next series I recommend the VW Golf IV Touring Car. But anyways it's not me who decides.

Have fun tonight.

Good/bad news:
I've got a job and I'll be working Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday meaning I will no longer be able to attend gttcc

However I can continue with the Wednesday's 1 make season, it's just I start 6am Thursday so can't be up too late Wednesday night

@Draggon there's a test room up in the club lobby, TheOldStig is in it. 👍

I'm heading to WRS 132 EU race. @True-blue-8 it might finish about when CRZ begins, I'll message you as soon as I cross the line in WRS. If it's delayed more than 15 minutes I'll leave it so CRZ won't be delayed that much.
No worried mate, happy to wait 10mins 👍

@True-blue-8 I prefer faster cars buuut...yes OK why not haha. Especially if @BenMillard is going to be there :P

Also, I can host again if need be :)

Could I just put a note out there at the same time though;
If ever you run a series like this again, ie no tuning of any kind, and the car is a little quicker, maybe an s2000 or a skyline for example (or maybe even a different car each week??), definitely count me in as I really enjoy the one make stuff (I miss the GT6 Seasonal Events when they supplied the car and you had no options, mainly because I was able to kick :censored:in the online ranking tables, whereas now with the tuning, I don't feel quite so quick )
What?! Slower cars are better by far, touring cars all the way :P

That would be great mate, do you have the settings from last week? 21 laps is race 1, and if you could make it a public lobby that would be great :)

I agree, one make no tuning is always better, and there will be another GTTCC season (more info at a later time) and it will be going back to basics of one make no tuning. Cars will still be low powered though as that's what we are, touring cars :P but to me it creates more fun and closer racing :)

doesn't matter about Fridays mate. As I said, more info on the new season which I want to rebuild soon.

Sorry for the delay, I needed the master account to reaccept the T&C so couldn't log in. Online now 👍

Could I hop in for the rest if the season?

Edit:

Nice try ignoring a request to join.

Meeting 3 Summary - Red Bull Ring Short Track
Race 1: Chaos theory. Out of the noise...the signals aligned somehow. I ended up 5th. Thought I would be 10th!
Race 2: Abysmal. I forgot how to drive. Got good at crashing, though.
Race 3: I'm baaaaaaaack! :D Almost lights to flag victory. Consistent. No big mistakes in last 5 laps. Ben is happy.

On a completely unrelated note, my streak of every Qualifying and Race session ending with me in an Odd numbered position continues...

First person to call me odd gets a free slap... ;)

After an awful last week I was glad to have some great racing. But despite being a track where we've had previous problems it was very good.

First of all not a great start with the servers. Yes, having the PS3 connected to a router helps, however the main problem is the amount of people joining the room at once. Thanks to @DeltaJuliet for hosting. To be honest, we had rookies and they did a great job of joining the lobby when needed, when people who have raced for 3 years still cant follow that. Crazy!

First of all qualy wasn't that bad. I think @DannyB013 owes me a six pack, seeing as how I set him up for a good haul of points ;) Got bumped out race 1 (watched the replay and you hit a kerb @BenMillard so no worries mate, my bad, you had no way to recover it) and that knocked me away from the group. Unfortunately running with no one to slip with max pen was so difficult. Some drivers at the back were quite slow and held me up in the corners, then the straight somes and everyone behind me flies past  so not ideal.

Race 2 was a crazy start, 4 wide, decided to just back out, let everyone crash and get the cutback  mike caught us big time but I was doing mid 58s just to make sure I stayed well away from track limits, better safe than sorry.

Race 3 was good fun. Apologies to @TNR_KING_FILO for T1, we were both in the groove and 2 into 1 didn't fit. Just a racing incident but I should have backed out. Thankfully we managed to make our way through the grids.

Some good racing, and some awful behaviour as well at times but that will be dealt with. Iit was great to have some big numbers, and it has pretty much made my mind up about running a new GTTCC season. Although the new guys held me up race 1 (:P) it was still great to have them there and no incidents as far as I recall. Well done guys, not sure of your ID's so drop me a PM, and hope to see you next week

Lost the championship lead and fell behind now, but this will be a good round to drop, so hopefully we have a great battle coming. Thanks guys, I needed that

I hear you couldn't drive a formation lap without incident. Are you really surprised you were ignored?

"After numerous requests CrazyJohnIsHere has been disqualified and removed from the series due to driving, language and attitude violations."

The above statement was taken from the stewarding report from GTTCC-7s first round. You can find it on Page 32 of that thread.

GTTCC is not CRZ Championship. Neither Ben raced at the 7th season. So?

Oh well, I will then not say anything else, true must be in his angriest mood when he sees this.

I can drive formation laps, I can drive cleanly, and I have examples, so anybody better not say I cannot drive.👍

Edit: really love the title. "Open to all"

It's open to people who are respectful. We want clean drivers, not people who get themselves disqualified and banned from different series. I really don't care if you can drive or not, or if you have examples, because my example tells me everything I need to know about your ability and conduct. Also, many GTTCC competitors race with us here in CRZ championship and since they were the ones who requested your immediate removal and DQ from said series, I really don't think they'd want you racing here now, would they? I know after what I've read I don't.

Really don't think I can give you a better answer than that.

Then why did i not get banned from my debut in season 5? Ah yes, I did not have a single touch with anybody. Every time I have been in a formation lap it did not have a good result (do not say that I cause this, jumping into conclusions is not an option), as there were either crashes from speed variations or lag, and even wrong thoughts. The thing has happened a month ago and something that is not being used is still being discussed?

I am not going to talk about Tokyo, had no practice and it was the first time I had driven the Integra.

Forget about the "language" thing, I sometimes cannot control myself when angry.

After all, do not say I am a troll. Trolls act differently and I have shown in different series that I am not a troll. If you like, agree with it, if you do not, then do not. Why should I care anymore? There are better series, where I do not get banned due to an incident that happened in something that is scratched from the championship. I always laugh when I think about that.

POINTS

The_G_of_D = You did indeed get a few bumps, but it was nothing that was race ending. Having the opinion of 'I give what I get' was pretty poor. However you did not get people turning into you on the straight trying to push them into a wall aggressively. Therefore it was not justified and bang out of order. You have been put on probation, and any further incidents if you race again will result in you being banned from racing.

Overall thanks for a great night guys and hope to see the new faces again next week. Llike I said, this has made my mind up about GTTCC8 and it should be great with the right people

CRZ is essentially a testing ground for GTTCC, and it has every relation. If I banned you from one series, you are banned from anything else I run.

John, there were 15 people in GTTCC telling you that you were out of order. You have a bad reputation in good series and you don't listen to people. You tried to make a public status about it, but ended up embarrassing yourself when people who had not seen what happened said it was your responsibility. You couldn't drive a formation lap, nor race cleanly, as agreed by 15 people who asked to ban you, and that it without mentioning your vile in-lobby behaviour. You said you would never race in my series again anyway so why sign up.

'why was I not banned season 5?'
You attended 1 round, where in fact you receive 2 reprimands if I recall, so attending another round would have led to a ban.

regarding the formation lap, you are the driver behind so have responsibility. Iif you hit someone in the back on the road, you are responsible for the damage. Same on the track.

As you say, why race here. It's not like GTTCC ha been going for 3 years and despite the ups and downs is still implanted in the GTP forum as a known series, and has produced much fantastic that has seen people return, even after having a break from the game. Running your own series with 5/6 people and saying you were not banned doesn't count.

You are correct, @BenMillard does not compete in season 6, however that has nothing to do with driving. Despite finding the guy frustrating off track (love you dude :P) he did not like the new format, however myself, and everyone else I have ever spoke to, have never had an issue with his race craft and common sense on track, which is one of the best I have experienced. If ben is happy to follow the format rules and series regs than I have no issue with him racing, as his driving and conduct is great and I don't have to worry about him.

Theres no point replying to this. Ninj and I (along with 15 other GTTCC racers) tried to explain this to you but you refused to listen. Slamming the series, host and driver as well does not help.

Like you said, leave it as it is mate. I didn't respond as I didn't want something like this happening. I wont respond to anymore of your messages and you will not be allowed to race, so long as you continue to behave that way. If one day in the future you realise that you made mistakes, want to change and can hold your hands up and show a genuine desire to improve, then I would consider giving you another try, but until then you can not change someones mind when they cant listen to advice from others about their driving.

Best of luck mate 👍

About what? Nothing? Because as far as I checked the replay that time, I had no contacts.

Yes I made a mistake but taking it way too seriously (=you thinking I am a dirty and horrible driver who joins famous series just to am not everybody, of course that is wrong) is too unfair.

I am not a person who thinks like a 5-year-old and posts a status about your series when in fact I had another similar situation, in another RACE (no formation lap) which was exactly before yours. I tried making a status just before GTTCC meet 1 but failed because I exceeded meeting the 140 word requirement, then met it but deleted it afterwards.

Remade it after that meet, and you, thinking you were 'offended' or whatever you were thinking at that time, hop in to defend your position and rights.

I have told you that I made just a mistake, oh forget it, I am not going to bother with that race anymore.

Ended. There. Change the title from open to all to whatever you want, as I have said I made that mistake but you seem not to make it off as I thought back then.

This is getting beyond a joke now, people tried to explain it to you politely but you clearly lack the mental dexterity to comprehend it so I'll be blunt.

You want to race in this series. Well, the answer is No. Done. Finished. Go find somebody else to race with, it's a big site.

Okay then, now stay here and do not overfill me with alerts anymore when it is 'done and finished', as you mentioned a moment ago?

You know, if you had just apologised, realised it was your mistake, and focused on trying to improve, rather than blindly shouting at everyone, you may have eventually been welcomed back to race again. Hmph. Arguing never solves anything.

Exactly 👍

How was your early night :P

I would, if you did not tell me to shut up before race 1 even started, when I did absolutely nothing, and if you did not start the "you are a Maldonado like racer" story.

@Ash9414

@Ash9414

I see you decided to continue with the "blindly shouting at everyone" option.

Screenshots and our conversation will continue.
