In the 458 v NSX battle you say the tuned NSX on SSRX "had a commanding lead up to 165mph" but then the figures show the 458 is exact or quicker!

We're sorry in the delay, I'm currently looking into getting a video editor to turn our write-ups into video productions, I have currently asked Him, with no reply. I will soon ask some more people :lol: If anyone knows how to make quality YouTube videos, then PM me :)

Hey guys the Hiatus is over and we are back, I have had some busy weekends lately so sorry for the delay in new episodes 👎

I was thinking of wrapping up the series and starting something a little different after a few more episodes, because I can see this concept getting kind of old relatively quick..

Let me know your thoughts, we have one episode lined up ready to go, but I'm afraid it will be kind of boring so I'm scrapping it, give me some more suggestions and we will continue to do our thing!

Not sure if there is a big enough difference in price to make it interesting but how about a Daihatsu Copen VS a Honda S2000. See if a tuned Kei car convertible can keep up with a real hot convertible sports car.:crazy::D

Would have suggested a Miata instead of the S2000 but I know there isn't enough difference in price there to even give the Copen a prayer.:(

Not sure though what an S2000 costs though so the Copen may just get buried anyways.:lol:

As for number of episodes I think there is plenty of mileage left in this yet, just need to look for more offbeat challenges. Also look at comparing some of the more affordable cars VS high end "Supercars" say a late model Lan Evo or Imprezza VS a new GT-R R35. Or how about a Miata VS a Ferrari California.

Don't be afraid to do a challenge that turns out to be hopeless regardless of budget. Just because the cheaper car may not come even close to the other cars performance regardless of budget it can still be fun to try and write about. You can also try stacking the deck occasionally so if for example you know the more expensive car will just run away on longer straights give them a test on a tight track like Eiger or London where the extra power might not be the advantage it is on other tracks, then talk up how close the cheaper car kept things on that course while downplaying its shortcomings elsewhere.

Yeah, that is what he have done in any case where the Stock car has better rubber then the cheaper car, (refer to M5 vs 300C)..

We are starting some more tests on another set of cars for a new episode, it has two Grand Touring Style cars, guesses anyone?

@MOTORTRENDmitch - Great idea you have here, love the first episode (NSX is my favorite car :D). Interesting match-up you guys have chosen and are currently doing, looking forward to the next episode. 👍

Lots of fun to put around the TTGT as well.. I still haven't had a chance to use the tuned variation. That will be in about 10 minutes :P

I'll make another Public Lobby and let everyone know the tuning list we have chosen so we can see how fast it laps Top Gear.

We have finally been picked up by a YouTube Channel.

Will do, not sure we will need to worry about it for this episode, but it would be a cool addition to the videos seeing the cars go around some key corners on the Ring.

And about what Mac said, he isn't joking, this has the making to be the best episode yet.. Hopefully I will have it written and edited Sunday.
