Chris and Agro are on another level in the rain , I was doing well myself but after my first spin i just lost the will and concentration to keep it on the track .

After crashing in qualy I thought I would try something different and start on mediums , it was a good gamble because I ended up in 1st place after the pit stops and managed to pit for the first time when the rain started , this gave me close to a 1 minute lead over the field and then I had my first spin and lost about 30 seconds lol . Had a few other spins / crashes and that cost me a 1st and 2nd place . My foot is a little too heavy for the rain , lol .

It is a little heartbreaking after leading in 1st for so long in the race but when you dont have the pace it forces you into errors . Live and learn I guess . If i had just taken my time I am sure I would of won easily but when you see the split times changing every lap It is hard to just focus on the driving . I think that is one of my main flaws , thinking too much during races .

Still a great experience and getting all that wet practice can only help me in the future .

it is a shame about the rain because we needed more information on how the hp penalties affect the field .

Midfield should give us a good idea though . See you next week .

I swear it is so, and the "feeling" of the new guys joining is not yet like the one i had with you bunch of basterds :D

But i'm sure you'll join me on PCars soon enough and also someone has to test out the new game for issues, bugs, balance, tuning options, etc etc...

I hope you managed to get your wheel working @Stephen Vann i heard that your issue is sometimes due to miscalibration of the wheel for it is not properly explained in the options, like you have to make the movement twice in both directtions before stopping where it asks you or something like that i don't remember clearly lol...

In any case i hope next patch is soon and will fix that bug....

I got pCARS day one, hooked GT3-RS wheel, fuuuuul of enthusiasm, my face gleaming and... sold the game week one. I'm sorry but it's so extremely full of bugs (especially console versions) that for the first time as i'm gameing i felt spat upon.

For most wheels that this game lies it supports, force feedback is dreadful, fake, canned physics all over. One member of our local forum is designer on pCARS and he told us that just one person in SMS studios had access to PS4 AND XBOX devkits (just one for both! ) that he had very short time to code for controllers and ALL of the wheels and that is why it is a disaster wheh compared to same wheels and controllers on PC wich ARE phenomenal...

Yeah he gave us instructions on how to ''minimize'' 30degrees of deadzone into 15... thank you very much... and
Also he added that said person ''is unfortunately very inexperienced with sim games'' - well ... WELL ... Omg! :banghead::boggled:

It is so disrespectful towards all of us console peasants!

But look at Kunos and their Assetto Corsa - how much more time are they going to take so they properly and respectfully develop for both consoles. That's the way to do it.

And pCARS online options seemed to me much more rudimentary then GT5's.

No clue what you did mate. There's a few bugs that willvmostly be fixed next week with 1.4 and wheel you have to set it yourself and there's a ton of guides.... Ai, phisycs, force feedback are so much extremely better i just couldn't go back to gt6 no matter what. and i played and enjoyed a lot for years with these guys you race with. So no clue about your issues...
 
I'm a patient guy i guess, gt6 taught me a lot with his years long bugs, like camber, high speed aero, glitchy weather, invisible drivers, server issues, totally wrong and unrealistic tunes etc etc... I really had patience for like ages on gt6, no issue waiting a few weeks for a developer that actually listen, answers and take into account the users opinion, issues, needs. And i was a crazy gran turismo fan!
 
pCARS was released on consoles with horible ff and controller issues. No racing game ever did LIE so blatantly to it's fans/customers, no game ever should. It's like releasing Witcher without sound or side quests or dialog... AND then they lied, pretended they are not aware? ????

Pissed on my face they did. Game should have been postponed OR they should have COME CLEAN to all console players about these major issues two weeks prerelease to apologize and promise to fix it - then i would still buy it day one and not feel cheated.

They still pretend that they were not aware! Of horribly faulty ff wit huge deadzone (on most ''suported'' wheels) wich takes 30 seconds to realize! They just took our console peasant money before they bankropt.

You know what else they did to console pe...layers? Al backers were promised a free copy of the game ''on platform of their choosing'' but they changed that only weeks from release to ''only stem version for everybody''... That's how they treated people who supported them with money from the very beginning... Just taking even more money from...

To release a racing game with so bugy controles and then pretend they weren't aware.

I also expected revolution in options for online racing and community, or at the very least 50% above GT6... But is it even half?

I got it day one full of faith... Let's just stop with this, please
 
Do you guys know if there is a difference between the Thrustmaster T300 RS and GTE wheel. Like force feedback, i know the wheel it self is different.
