A real drag strip could change that though. Bandimere Speedway is 9th place on the 'Most Wanted Tracks' page now which can only mean one thing. Drag racing is wanted by many.

There was a drag strip in GT4.

Gt4 had that las vegas drag strip but i never understood why they didn't us the infineon strip,they already had the track layout,but i'm probably being picky

I couldn't figure out why either, and it still bugs me.

Because it's not true? Drag racing is definitely not the biggest thing.

Drag racing is the biggest thing and drifting and track because there are so many cars that can become fast or faster because of all our knowledge. With our knowledge so teams cook a good tune through there drag team and they all race that then we have to improve our car, The tuning will never stop.

Fact is whether or not drag racing is "the biggest thing" in the game or not. It is certain that most ignored. We have drifting seasonal events, we have NASCAR events in Aspec/Bspec and seasonal. And of course this game was made for the circuit racer. I am fine with all of this, really I am, but STOP ignoring us. We bought the game, we enjoy the game, but we WANT DRAG RACING on the game.

Dammit Kaz let me make this really simple, do you have any idea how much MONEY you are losing by not giving us drag racing? DLC packs with drag tracks, cars etc will sell. I know for a fact that MANY of the current DLC packs were purchased by drag racers.

I'm gunna be optimistic and say that there are 10,000 people worldwide that like to drag. Give us a drag strip and proper tree and timing system for $1.99 and that's nearly $20,000 easy money for PD. And how hard can it be to model a 1/4 mile long track anyway?

I even asked for a return of the Vegas strip in the feedback section.

One place I would really love to see as a drag strip is the historic speed trials venue in my old home town of Brighton (started in 1905 for those who won't click ). It still happens every year rain or shine.

Its a 1/4 mile timed event but, the road its on is much longer than that so you could have a longer race too.

Because its a much more realistic option and probably something that could easily be re-instated.

I'm not one of these people who asks for the world and gets annoyed when it doesn't happen.

I'm also not a huge fan of drag racing anyway. I like it, I don't love it. Circuit racing is my bag.
