Basic set up(very basic - hence, the one setting sheet) for the 1999 grid. Only parts recommended are 19” BBS RE-CL, BBS RN, OZ CENTER LOCK wheels and Ballast(for the FF Renaults only).

The real cars specs are: 295-320hp/970-975kg(2140lbs). No weight reduction available for these cars. They’re all well balanced and competitive for AI usage. Note the four “Independent“ teams cars(at the bottom of the first picture), have a click less power. To replicate less power than works teams. The red #77 entry, had better equipment, which helped it to run with the works cars.

Nissan/Atenzas, Honda/Atenzas and Vauxhall/Atenzas, have same settings, respectively, bar a click difference in power to replicate team/driver finishing order in the season.

I'm gonna try this thanks a lot! Any chance doing Honda and Audi?
The works Hondas are the second row of the first pic. Same specs as the Vauxhall. I made an Audi livery for the Atenza back in GT Sport. In this game, I’d use the STI. Probably add a click more power and ballast than the Volvo(the real BTCC A4s were about 100kg heavier than the rest of the field). I’ll test one.

Thanks for this post. I’ve got a couple of days off over Christmas and not much going on so I’ve been using this as the basis for my own custom Touring Car Championship.

I’ve added a few cars to the lineup mainly using various BTCC liveries from the era and a few of my own custom ones.

All cars I’ve added are road cars from the 90’s tuned up at or very very close to 600pp
There’s a Supra and an Integra and my own Silvia as well as a Civic giving that 90’s flavour.

It’s an 11 round Championship using weak boost which seems to be the key ingredient with rounds in Europe, America and Asia using 25,18,15,12,10,8,6,4,2,1 point scoring system for the top 10 with each round being around 15 to 25 minutes long depending on lap count and the length of the circuit.

I reverse the top 10 each race and it’s been very close racing.

With two races left any of the top 6 can still take the title. I bagged a podium at the first race but have failed to score a point since. My 1990 Silvia is competitive with the field but only a perfect race gives me a chance of points.
It’s been great fun though and I think I’m gonna run it again once I’m done. Looking forward to picking and tuning another 90’s car to run in the series.

It’s a bit of a pain doing the point scoring myself on a spreadsheet but it’s been worth the effort. It’s provided me with some epic races so thanks for your work.

Had to login to say what a great job you have done here!

Going to try out these setups for sure.

What do I need to search to find these Supertourer liveries for the cars? They are so nostalgic from watching these cars on the TV and playing Toca 1/2.

Merry Xmas all.

And that’s it. Using our imagination to recreate the racing we enjoy.

Thank you. I’m just sharing the possibilities. If we never get the actual cars, whether race cars or the road versions, I’ll continue to use what’s available to make my own fun. :)

I‘ll post the link in the General Livery Thread.

Yes, I personally don't know how to do and it helps me a lot. So a little thank you for your work and your help. It's free and it doesn't eat bread. 😊👍

Good continuation!

Updated the Gr.4 car specs as I’m getting tighter battles from AI programming. Still in the process of adjusting the Independent’s settings.
