I haven't been on GT5 in a few days. Well since the Rally race. My kids have been running it with Netflix and I've been on a Ronin kick again.

Same here low to mid 54's

You still in the z? The only car I'm having any luck in is the LFA, it's fast and fun but eats up tires .

Good job last week Dangit! That wasn't easy getting through traffic on those old tires . That was another fun race , for me anyways .

Yes still in the 370z. Tire wear is pretty good in can run about 22/24 laps before times really drop off

But it's got just the grooviest lil' peek-a-boo spoiler! Now you see it....

Now you see it....now it doesn't work. If a wing could be added this car would be hot fire. Dylan.

The LFA is good for playing ping pong through the esses and burning up the rears as I do donuts in the second double left. I like the Z and the RX7 for stability and long run assurance

I'm not going to be able to make it Thursday. I will be working.:grumpy: I really need to hit the lotto.

We'll miss you buddy. Hope to see you next week at the OGR and the Fiasco race. Thursday and Friday respectfully

That's a shame. Hope I can catch you online in one of the other two leagues.

Thanks, guys. I really hate to miss the STC season finale. Not sure about next week, but it does not look very good. I'm really going to try to free my schedule for the DTM series. I've got a teammate. A fast one.👍 I will buy some more lotto tickets.

Hey guys, sorry I've been lagging on updating the points. Work and Easter have taking up most my time (and a little something called skyrim has been uh calling me).

So to atone for that I'm going to let you guys in on a little secret. And stoke the competitive fires just a little more.

This year the podium finishers will receive as a prize a Mattel Speed Machines Limited Edition Hot Wheel car. First place will pick out of the three I have bought, then second will pick out of the remaining two with third place receiving the final hot wheel.

These will be mailed out to the winner free of charge. Here's a quick pic of them:

Its not much but I think they are really cool and its a little something to show my appreciation to you guys. Points will be updated tonight!

Brett is correct, as per usual. There are things that are cool. There are things that are very cool. And there are a few things that are almost as cool as DJ. But not very many.

Points are finally updated! I'm not a math-a-mathion expert but it looks like we got a really good battle for the championship. I'm very excited to see how it plays out.

And thanks brett and logan!

Wow....... I can now say I know someone that actually listens to rap. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't found this pic of JT getting ready for a race.....

BTW...... there is only 1 Dylan, and his name is Bob. 👍

Any rap I (listened) to was the stuff I HAD to DJ. I will however school anyone on the history of (hip-hop) due to the fact that my interest in analog music technology is very high. MC-909, JX-305, 808's and so on. Reason being is that all hip hop sound has been derived from early modern rock influence, examples Devo, Kraftwerk as a couple. Pure analog machines used to create extraordinary sound. Now take hippies. That culture. Get high, chill, all colors of people no fights. That is how early hip hop culture existed in the beginning. Afrika Bambaataa was the first to break the technology used by white Europeans onto U.S. streets, with a white producer. Taking kids of the time back to hippie state, the sound was all people no matter where you were from. Beastie Boys for example. Pure 808 technology on their first albums. It was a love of analog, a love of pounding hard vibrating sounds out of a little electronic box with your fingers. Making sounds come out of machines that were never intended to be heard. Kind of a "let's see what we can make". Electric Boogaloo was basically king and the correct term to describe the first (hip hop). Real vocals were sung, not rapped over the technological beats. Just sounds for the clubs and parties. Later those sounds became associated with culture, emotion, and forced to help translate story making. Hard knocks culture found an outlet, then money could be made. Now you have a competition. Competition brings out fakes, posers and image makers all for the sake of marketing. Look at Ice Cube. From No Vasaline to driving kids around on vacation. For what? Money. Why gangster rap exists in the first place. For money.

Now there are some real dangerous cats who rap. R.B.L. Posse is one local crew out my way. Gangster for real, broke, then rap, then make money. But they are for sure no Ice Cube. They will saw you in half.

The Dylan from my video is a comedic joke that is a play on all I mentioned above. Dave calls out everyone.

So Bob huh? Put on some dirty Penny Loafers, wear and oversized hat cocked to the side, associate with the wanna be poet beatnik culture, strum a guitar and lazy voice it to make money (oh sorry, sing truth to the masses)...(oh sorry, whine to the masses). Not really influential. Just followed by a bunch of dorks. Not unlike hip hop. Music is a bandwagon sport. Don't jump on.
Let's go with something better.

Then there is this guy. He has a white band member who uses all early 80's technology to make your (rap music) and his crazy self. They also employ a crazy drummer, Buddy Miles, Lee Michael's style. I'd like to kick it with this guy. **** would get crazy.

Here is the live Buddy Miles version. Travis Barker my left nut who?

If you look close there is a culture shift again. More skateboards are on the street, less rap in the clubs more songs are actually being sung. Correct, music sucks theses days except for what I like, but there is a positive shift away from image gangster rap. I hope, for all the worlds sake.

Peace be with you.

It's a shame you're on the wrong coast JT. I've been a musician since a VERY early age and have spent 20 years of my life working in the music industry and touring. In the past 11 years I got "a day job" to pay the bills. I'm sure we could have a great conversation that would bore the pants off of these guys.
