SuperGT Cars

I have the wedsports is350 i need to make some money in order to get my dream car, the petronas toms sc430 and after that probably the arta nsx... and last but not least the GT-R... i cant wait to win the castrol toms supra that car is so cool and handles like a dream. after that i will get the yellow hat supra just because it has Genki on it =) genki racing games ftw! we should have a super gt race and have like 8 people be in gt500 cars and 8 people be in gt300 cars.. that would be cool. and if we dont have 16 people we can just split the number of participants into the two groups.

Take a run in the Super GT race and see which ones are consistently getting first. Whichever one that is, buy it.......

from the Honda dealership.

a agree about the HSV... it sounds like heaven =) haha... i hope it would come out later as dlc.. if it does i would go with the Raybrig or Epson HSV..

I forgot to say. Has anyone else with a Takata NSX noticed that the gear indicator on cockpit mode is bugged?

It always displays one gear lower than the one you're in for me. Not sure if this is true for everybody else.

Yeah I get that with my Raybrig NSX as well.

Stealth NSX did that to me once. Clear network cache and start the game again, worked for me.

I thought it was just that for some reason GT500 cars count 1st gear as gear 0, as if they are computers or something. I happens in all the GT500 cars I have driven, I've cleared the network cache also.

The Super-Gt cars are my favourite in the Game and I drive them a lot particularly in the Japp' tracks Fuji,Suzuka and Tsukuba. The best for me is the Nsx Takata(the engine sound makes mi come every time I drive it) but it results a pit 'crabbed' but I love it though!

Word of advice: I've been told this term is not acceptable to use here. I used it in a post of mine and was cautioned so I expect the same may happen if it's not edited.

Anybody else hate people tuning (power or weight wise) there GT500 car ?

Kind of ruins the whole point of the car doesn't it ?

I have one quick question on Super GT, on the extreme series Super GT series, what car did you guys use to win the series?

Evo IX RM. 1080kg, 500+hp. Very easy wins. Too easy, but if you just want to get the cash and XP and all gold cups...thats what I did.

Arta NSX since I love K. Tsuchiya and he is director of that team (or was but I think he's still doing it).

Takata NSX. It's a lively little fella, and sounds "like a Norse God of thunder gargling on a hammer"...

If they are all the same why do some (nissan 350z) require lvl 21 while the majority require level 20? and what of the level 19's are they just the impopular teams?

I love the Takata NSX as well. I have a Re-Amemiya RX-7 as well, which with (a lot of) tuning runs very nicely.

I think the Super GT cars are probably the best looking ones in the game. PD really nailed the textures and the look of the tires.

I agree completely. I only have one of those (ARTA NSX) but dear me, it looks amazing in photo travel.

I love my Takata Dome NSX. It feels as if I'm always going to lose control, while at the same time it gives me the feeling that I'll never lose control...does that make sense?

That makes a whole lot of sense :) Living on the edge! Well... driving on the edge.

I just wasted 950,000 on the DENSO SARD SC430... I get smoked by every single one of those damn NSX's...

OT, GT500 engines will be used by some Le Mans teams in 2011, Toyota and Honda engines will be used in P1 and a version of the Nissan engine is to be used in P2.

Apparently Starting from 2012 SuperGT rules will start to change to match the one in DTM. Should be the same regulation for DTM/SuperGT in 2015.

Am I the only one that finds the Super GT cars really boring to drive? I've driven the GTR(Stealth), NSX(Stealth), Yellow Hat Supra, RE-Amemiya RX-7 (GT300) and Wedsport Celica (GT300) and they are just not exciting to drive as they hardly ever break traction and just don't feel pointy enough to me, Sure they look fantastic but I find them boring to drive :(

with only abs to 1 they not that easy to drive I think. Plus the wet race in suzuka with my arta nsx super gt is actually one of the best memory I got in GT5 so far with a couple of Online race and the X-1 excitement (even if I can't drive it properly yet).

But the high grip is the birthmark of SuperGT, once a Maserati MC12 tried to race in SuperGT and was absolutely destroyed in corner.

And yes I like driving them, I like high grip FR machine.

is TC off?

The cars break on me even on minimal TC, not boring at all.
