Can some one tell me(and explain to me)the besta NSX between the three
1-Takata Dome 06

2-Arta NSX 06

3-Espon NSX 08

Don't know, but they are the exact same cars that beat the hell out of me at Fuji...

I can't win with medium tyres and a turbo upgrade. The snap oversteer is a bit annoying, though that might be my brake bias settings...

You don't need a turbo upgrade. Soft tyres alone make it an easy win. Brakes are set 5-5 by default. Try 7-3 if it's dry and 6-4 if it's wet.

Ive been buying/driving all these cars lately:

'05 Supra (Yellow)
'06 NSX (Takata, Arta and raybrig)
'08 NSX (Epson)
'06 Lexus (Bandai)
'08 Lexus (Eneos)
'06 Nissan Z
'08 Nissan GTR (Motul)

For my experience, the '06 Nissan Z is a beast. I didnt even try hard to beat the other cars laptimes.

The cars i didnt try are the other '08 Lexus (Denso & Petronas) and the GTR's (Xanavi, Calsonic & Clarion).
Notice that there is a difference between the '08 Motul GTR and the other '08 GTR's. The Motul has less power and it is a slightly diferent version because if you look behind the front tyres the other GTR's have some "air holes" and the Motul one doesn't.

I would say Supra and Lexus are the slowest ones. I have yet to try if the more developed '08 GTR's are capable of beat the '06 Nissan Z.

Of course, in real life, Super Gt is an endurance series: 3h races and 2 drivers, so its not based only on pure speed around a lap.

I went with the Lexus Eneos (orange) and really like it. As an experiment, I added a stage 3 turbo and ran against the "GT All Starts" field (R92CP, etc) at trial mtn. Those cars would tear me up on the straight, but I was taking them coming out of the corners and came in 3rd overall. Now that may be primary due to the conservative cornering of the AI, but still was pleasantly suprized with the outcome.

Definitely prefer the MR GT500 cars over the GTRs and SC430s. I went ahead and bought the ARTA NSX.

Funny thing is, I didn't realize I could use any car for the Super GT race in b-spec:banghead:

you can use any car in a-spec too, mazda 787b stealth ftw :)

I loveee the Nissan GT-R Impul Calsonic (The blue one), i don't know why but i love it. Actually in GT5 i have 1.1xx.xxx CR and im lvl 18.

I think i gonna buy it, should i buy it guys? It will be handfull in future events?

Well, I decided to buy the Denso Sard SC430. Bought because I have loved the Sard Supra in every other GT. Tested it at the road course at Daytona and the thing just felt so bland to drive. Put down some good times, but there was no sense of fun or anything. The next one I am going to buy is going to be the Calsonic GT-R, for mostly the same reason as the SC430. I would like to compare one to a DTM car or GT3 car.

I'm kind of disappointed that PD didn't put in the 2007 Super GT cars. Most of the record holding cars for most super gt maps are held by the 07 Takata NSX. 2007 was the year of the NSX. It blew away the competition. I wanted to take the 07 ARTA NSX and beat Ito's 1'49"xxx record on suzuka LOL

If they are all the same why do some (nissan 350z) require lvl 21 while the majority require level 20? and what of the level 19's are they just the impopular teams?

The 2006 Xanavi Nismo is the only GT car with 520+ NM of torque. All other GT cars are pretty identical (stats wise) and lower on torque, all have output of around 390NM or so.

rev

I love my Takata Dome NSX. It feels as if I'm always going to lose control, while at the same time it gives me the feeling that I'll never lose control...does that make sense?

I guess you mean you feel very comfortable driving the car at its limits :) I bought a GT-R, and have the Toms Supra from the B-Spec reward. Next buy for me will be one of the NSX cars, and then one of the Lexus ones. Ideally I want to collect them all at some stage.

We need for series more these cars! :)

Am I the only one that finds the Super GT cars really boring to drive? I've driven the GTR(Stealth), NSX(Stealth), Yellow Hat Supra, RE-Amemiya RX-7 (GT300) and Wedsport Celica (GT300) and they are just not exciting to drive as they hardly ever break traction and just don't feel pointy enough to me, Sure they look fantastic but I find them boring to drive :(

Use Hard racing tyres, and no ABS like the real cars and speak again :)
I think the Stealth NSX GT500 is the best looking anyway 👍

I did that here, and I'm breaking traction

Soft racing tyres are too grippy, but seems like everyone uses them online!

I'm collecting all of the GT500 cars.
Since I can buy the premium ones anytime I want, I am concentrating on the older ones that sometimes show up in the UCD and also are pretty rare.

I started collecting these cars today and I started with the Petronas Tom's SC430.

I think I made a mistake by buying it all the performance upgrades because the car still won't go over 300 km/h on the long straight of Tokyo and I'm more curious to know how it's like stock.

However, it's very nice to drive. I know it isn't as exciting as the Hondas and I know it aint as good as the Nissans. That sort of makes me want to side with it, because it's an underdog.

If you're thinking about buying one of the SC430's, buy one that is '08 because simply based on what it said on the description of the cars, the '06 aint as good as the latter ones.

Next I'll get the Raybrig NSX and then one of the GT-R's.

Does anyone know why the Autech Motul GT-R has way less power and is heavier than the other GT-R's?? I'd like to get that one, but the numbers worry me.

Yep... JGTC cars are fun. My favorite is the Castrol Tom's Supra or Calsonic (nostalgic reasons I guess), but they are all about the same.

If all are the same, can somebody tell me why the Xanavi Nismo Z has the most Power and Torque then the other cars? It costs the same too, is there something wrong with it?

I dont know much about superGT cars

I got the 2008 Denso SC430, and fully tuned it will be faster, than a fully tuned Takata Dome NSX from 2006 (630 bhp against the Lexus´ 670 bhp). And it drives really good 👍

The only one I own is the GT300 Impreza. I'm really disappointed that there are no non-Japanese Super GT cars in the game, such as:

I love the wedsport lexus, it just drives so easy. I have a xanavi gtr and a raybrig(?) NSX and i do prefer the NSX just because it is a litle more alive and sounds much nicer then the gtr. Also I love the way you can drive with them, braking very-very late and very fast around corners.
Coming to sounds the HSV-10 does sound like the 90's honda f1 engines wich were v10's.

Honda f1 v10http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aOWuk5Q75w
really, really really beautiful!! both of them

Don't worry about it to much. After a few oil changes the MOTUL has 514 HP(stock) only 4 HP less than XANAVI.

I tested both GT-R's on a time trail, handling is very similar but the MOTUL was a bit faster so you wont go wrong buying it.

A word of advice. Don't go buying the ADVAN GT-R it's 1.2 second slower per lap than Xanavi and Motul.

It seems that you have the Xanavi Nismo Z,
Do you know why it has more power and torque then the rest, or is it to the sacrifice of handling?

What are the chances these become DLC? :(

As for the OP, i suggest to get an NSX (Raybrig, Epson, Arta). The most challenging to handle but the most rewarding. Also has the best sound in my opinion.

Hi guys, me and some friends of mine are using SuperGT cars to compete.
It's quite a lot of fun for us.

I am not an expert and I would like to know if, in Gran Turismo 5, these cars are exactly the same:

Nissan YellowHat YMS TOMICA GT-R (SUPER GT) ‘08
Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R (SUPER GT) ‘08
Nissan WOODONE ADVAN Clarion GT-R (SUPER GT) ‘08
Nissan Calsonic IMPUL GT-R (SUPER GT) ‘08

I know they are the same car model, with the same power and weight but I wonder if there are features that make them slightly different from each other.

Thanks

Motul Autech has the same Power/Torque as the other GT-R's. It's a bit shorter (according to description...) and weigh 30 kg more (weight handicap, not sure why PD included it). The car modelling is also slightly different.

Except for some minor details in the cockpit, they are identical, incl. Motul Autech.

However, Woodone handle a bit different. The rear is easier upset on uneven track surfaces and requires more throttle control.
