Looks interesting, especially as it's from the guys behind SBK.

Might be worth a rental. It's from blackbean, who did S.C.A.R and Evolution GT, both good (but not great) racers

Nice idea, but I think it would have been better if it had been included in a bigger game, like back when TOCA3 had multiple championships. Rather than it's own game. Looks quite poorly executed too.

I preferred TOCA when it was just the BTCC, so each to his own ;)

Might have a go, something different for once... Maybe it'll have an easy Platinum Hehe.

I had S.C.A.R a few years ago, not bad. Many people forget that it had a 'Rewind' feature before GRID. :dunce:

Not too bad a sim either I guess ;)

I saw this a few weeks back, but only saw the video, have to say it looked like a dead duck! But looking at the screen shots it looks like a completly different game? Hope theres some more vids pop up soon as this could be a good stand in for the "delayed" SCC.

If you want more details just ask. If I can answer, thou. lol

@Mekanaizer, thanks for the info :D

Could you tell a bit more about the steering and behaviour of the AI? oh and before I forget, does the Jag drive as sexy as it looks ;)

Regards,
doblocruiser

What are the actual rules/specifications of what cars can enter?:odd: Sounds like it's not worth my time really....

Andrea Chiesa - Maserati Quattroporte .... nice! I like italian "person" names, but "car" names are even better :D

Mekanaizer: Will the Quattroporte be featured?

My Italian sucks? Are they all 4 door sedans? What power level?

Ooh, nice, 300C and CTS-V. I would like to see the 300C with the aero package.

link?

OK got it.....Not seeing where they said it was awful or anything derogitory about it? I did however spot glimpses of incar footage so I'm happy. I can see what they've done here, theye have the core program done and x amount of tracks and cars, they've decided to be first off the start line and offer it at a reduced price with a number of DLC to bring the game upto a full compliment of content over time. Could be a bit of a stormer this one, if they have the physics right, or at least a good title to fill the gap while we wait for the delays SCC, shift and GT5. Heres hopeing!

So we have this to keep us happy from next month up until September, when Shift is released, which in turn can keep us occupied until GT5 arrives. :) Nice! ;) Of course, I will have to explain to Mrs. NLxAROSA that I absolutely need a game three times, that will probably cost me some flowers, chocolates or possibly even jewelry. :P

12 player online and some good tracks and nice evenly paced cars, throw in tuning and weather effects this could be a bit of a summer hit! Certainly alot of interest in raceing games of late with gamers as the EA hype engine fires up the imagination, and as with EA , Black bean seems to be playing the "arcade" aspects up to cash in on a wider audience! I can see this doing well, especialy at the £30 price tag. And it's release date.
I'm actualy getting quite excited about this title, it's reminding me of the original TOCA series, which isn't a bad thing. As long as the handeling is good it could be a big hit. From the aweful video I DIDN'T see the Grid pole syndrome so theres a good chance they've got it right.

And Jambo, I allways ignore you?

have to agree with you Hereward, this could be something! I'm really looking forward to the demo and indeed it reminds me also of the original toca series. I like such games!

It looks really nice from the pics and if cockpitview and handling work well together with online stabillity, I'm probably hooked for some time ;)

Only problem is that the release of Super Car Challenge is also statet the 26th of June, but I really wonder if they make their releasedate...
